I'm from out of town and was craving any type of shaved ice but when I got here there were so many option that I just went for their fruit smoothies which was absolutely delicious. The staff were so incredibly nice and when my little brother asked for a specific color of umbrella on his shaved ice they happily gave it to him. The atmosphere is wonderful and the bathrooms are the cleanest I've seen in a restaurant in a while. It's been years since I last had a snow cone. I almost forgot about their existence until my friend wanted to get one. I gladly accepted the invite. It amazes me how much they have changed! I recall the basics when you had coconut, pina colada, cherry, and the other simple flavors. Walking in I was shocked to see a large menu even some including gummy bears and Oreos, even ice cream?! What! These guys are definitely living in the future with all their amazing creations! I was mind blown by what they offered. I ordered a small pina colada shaved ice. I was surprised to see how big the small was! It was too much for me I ended up getting about a third of the way before giving it to my friend. Next time I guess I'll have to get the baby size. read more

Every Bahama Bucks is slightly different because they are franchised. I honestly didn't think I would like this one because it doesn't have a drive thru. But I was shocked to find how convenient it really is! It is really large and open! Not only do they have ample seating, they even have games that you can take to your table and play with the family! What a fun way to have a treat with the family! What I really LOVED was that they put a sugar free sticker on my Thin Ice snow cone so I never have to guess if they made it with regular or Thin Ice flavoring. It definitely puts my mind at ease and I really appreciate it! I'll admit they changed my mind and I will definitely be back! But I still wish they had the same Yelp check in offer as the Paseo location! read more

5:45pm on Friday evening and it's 97 degrees. I walk in Bahama Bucks and there no line and clearly about 8 people waiting for their orders to be completed. It's hot and I get it. I thought the line would be out the door. I walk in and immediately go to the register. There's no one else in line. I stood at the register for over 7 minutes before some said a single word to me. Not until they came to take my order. There were 7 people working. No one was standing around but 5 of the 7 employees walked by me and not a single one said, "we'll be there as soon as we can" or "thanks for waiting." I just stood there for over 7 minutes. I often find myself wanting Bahama Bucks to take one more step up in customer service. I have to accept they likely won't. read more

Shaved ice with every flavor you could think of. My favorite is birthday cake which comes with sprinkles on top. My kids love the sour stuff. The prices are good & you can get a punch card which gets you one free item with 10 items bought. Adds up quick when you have kids. There are bOard games you can play in store. I come here a lot for years. They were perfect. Now they don't put enough chile on their mangoniadas and when I asked for extra chile they put it in there to the point all you taste is salty ice and no magi whatsoever. The lady that took my order was super friendly and did her best to take my order she was not an issue. The issue is the staff in the back who clearly do not know how to make the items on the menu. This is the real deal, very finely shaved snow cone made just the way you like (LOVE) it's almost creamy it'll make you dreamy My mini likes pink & blue cotton candy. I love my mango piña colada with ice cream on the bottom Not only they do the typical shave ice flavors but they do fancy shmancey stuff like caramel green apple or other seasonal stuff like pumpkin spice. I was having a sweet tooth attack and couldn't think of anything better than Bahama Buck's to sooth my crazing. I got my usual 3 flavour Cherry, Line and Blue Coconut and I was not disappointed. The staff is always friendly and attentive. I never feel rushed, the smell is amazing as soon as you walk in the building. The vibe with music is always has a tropical feel. I love Bahamas bucks but they need to extend their hours. Closing at 8 PM is crazy. 7-8 is going to be the time people are getting dessert and every time I go, there's tons of people and the employees have already closed off half the store and are annoyed at everyone for being there so soon before they close. Last time I went it took 20 minutes to get our snow cones and one of the employees was fighting with a customer because she was so annoyed people were there at 8 PM. Doesn't make sense to close so early when that's when people are going to want to come. The employees are just focused on closing. Even a 9 PM close would make things so much better. read more

Staff was super friendly. My girlfriend is currently on Keto where she can't have sugar. They have a good amount of options including sugar/carb free options. I went with the sour patch flavor with sour patch sauce. The sauce (cream) taste like ground up sour patch kids pretty spot on! The combo was tasty and enjoyable. I know it's just shaved ice but the overall experience was exceptional. I will definitely be back to explore more flavors. They have a punch card that after 10 punches you get anything free on the menu. The best selling point there is when it's under 40 you get two punches and when it's under 30 you get 3 punches. This used to be one of my favorites...but gave been continuously disappointed the last 5 or so times I visit. First, they started leaving the middle white, and I have to ask for extra syrup. Then, it gas increasingly taken more time to get orders filled. This last time I visited, I only ordered one sno, and it took over 20 minutes sincev4 people ordered in front of me. I spent thec20 minutes wondering why I bc saw 6 employees walking around, and only 1 making orders while 1 other ran out orders...and the other 4 seemed to just be walking back and forth to the back room, talking about what the "homies" did last night, standing watching the other 2 work, and replacing bottles in the holder half heartedly. Why even have 6 people working??? Unfirtunately I will be going to the Hawaii Shaved Ice on Carlisle instead. Too vad..good product, just crappy service. read more

Never ever will I go to this Bahama bucks, I had my 2 1/2 old grandson who we were pottie training, and as you can imagine he had to go to the restroom and they WOULD NOT let him use the restroom!!!!It was a bunch of kids who could have cared less! I get not letting the drifters or the likes using their restrooms, but a 2 1/2year old! As far as I concerned, that's unacceptable!! I had just purchased 3 items there, to top it off! Fun spot for summertime cool down. The shaved ice is so fun it is like eating flavored snow. The favor choices are many and amazing. We tried a baby sized rainbow for my 4 year old; it came with an umbrella. I had the Congo smoothie. What fun and way more refreshing than ice cream. They also have plastic totes full of various old time board games to play with while you enjoy. One more thing, the spoons change color when they get cold! read more

My boyfriend is obsessed with bahama bucks and they're all very far away from us and we saw this one so decided to stop by and it was a great decision. They have lite options which is great and very convenient. The cashier, I didn't get her name sadly, but she recommended a shaved ice to my boyfriend and she nailed it. The other man there, also didn't get his name helped me with my smoothie and informed me of everything and if they were sugar free or not which is so incredibly helpful. Obsessed with Bahama bucks!! We used to have one in Miami, but they closed it down. So being on the west coast we had to stop here!! We came here at least once a week while visiting. I recommend the Bahama rama mama: blue raspberry, strawberry, and cotton candy. Add sour sand and party or princess sprinkles. Ask for them to put the sprinkles on top and in between!! read more

They have so many choices but since my belly can't tolerate dairy I went with with the straight up shaved ice. I got the pink cotton candy flavor. It was so good. I tried several flavors but the watermelon one with gelati ice cream was by far my favorite. It reminded me the most of the water ice in Philly and the Italian ice in so cal that I've grown to love. The mango one was gushing so much I had to stay a while to wipe it all up haha. Ultimately I felt like the flavor I really loved the best was the watermelon. The Dubai chocolate was alright but very over priced indeed. For the price paid it should have been at least a little larger in size. They had a lot of unique snacks as well as long as you're okay with the premium cost, which I paid just to try them. All in all, I would go back some day to have the watermelon flavor again!

Instead of receiving the proper larger cup size for the flat-topped item, the crew member simply used a standard cup and cut off the domed ice. I was still charged the full price but received less product. I will absolutely continue coming here, but wanted to share this so management can ensure the newer staff is properly trained on how to build and package flat-topped orders
