Me and my wife went out of our way this week to get a snow cone from one of my favorite chains. This was Monday night (4/6) When we pulled up at around 8:05 we immediately just pulled around back to go through the drive thru. My mother in law had called right at that moment so we elected drive thru to keep on the phone with her. Long story short, when we finally left the drive thru line I had been on the phone for 49 minutes with my MIL. To add to it, once we were in line we were stuck, there were only 4 cars ahead, but it took nearly 50 minutes to get to the front, as soon as I got there I was rushed as if it was my fault. I saw other workers inside mopping so I guess they were closing early? Frustrating it took 50 minutes and there wasn't even an apology from the service. Probably wouldn't recommend going to this location on any weekday, doesn't look like you're going to be in and out very quickly, or at least park an walk in, the drive thru has no exits, so once you're in you're stuck. If you go in at least you can get a refund and leave before the take 50 minutes to put ice and flavor in a cup. read more

When I asked for a simple fix, I was told I'd be charged for an extra cup. After they finally agreed to a remake, the second cone--a Blue Coconut and Strawberry Cheesecake--was missing the condensed milk that is standard for that build. When I pointed this out, they insisted on charging me again for something that should have been included the first time. The most egregious part was the wait. It took **15 minutes** to receive the corrected cone. Ten minutes into that wait, the staff actually had to ask me what I had ordered *again*. When I finally spoke to the manager, **Emma**, she was completely indifferent. When I asked why it took 15 minutes to produce a single snow cone, her response was simply that she "wasn't sure." As a manager, being unaware of why your workflow has ground to a halt is unacceptable. The decoration in the store is very nice. The snow cones are good and predictable as well. Sugar free is good, just freezes the ice and changes the texture. I love that they have games inside for you to enjoy. However many tables were sticky and the floor was too. read more

This was our first time here and to Bahama bucks in general. Andrew was extremely helpful and even tho we had no idea what we were getting was very nice. We also ordered one thing and canceled it we got looks from the kids in the back but Andrew still made us feel comfortable! Now taste whew great!!! My son got the sonic one he loved it and my husband got tigers blood and pickle chunks also great! The baby size was plenty we got our boys a small to share it was way way more than we needed!! I wanted a tigers blood snow cone but I also wanted the flavor of the mangonada extreme, so I combined them. Service in he drive through was quick, and that had to be the best snow cone I've ever had. What I appreciated most about it was that they layered the toppings throughout the cup so the mangonada goodness wasn't over as soon as you finished the "cone" part. This is definitely a summer staple. As the Texas heat is almost unbearable Bahama Buck's will help keep you cool. We opted to park and walk inside, however there is a drive thru option. Once the weather warms up, I'm sure the outdoor patio will get lots of use. We ordered two mini and one large snow cone for 3 of us and could have easily shared one with the large portion sizes they offer. I like there is an option to add ice cream. We were celebrating the beginning of Spring Break so it was not yet packed so we were able to order and get our snow cones fairly quickly. The sprinkles on the Unicorn flavor is a must! The umbrellas really add a tropical vibe and looking forward to trying all their flavors this summer. read more

There's 7 staff members here today and We walked up to the register to place an order. No one says hello, smiles or acknowledges us for a good 7 mins. The only reason I left a review is because the business encouraged me to leave a review instead of attempting to hear my concerns. In response to the store's response to my review. I was standing by the pickup counter because I had placed a to-go order. Other places I frequent (including other Bahama bucks) have similar setups, so my behavior was not peculiar. Since you don't allow pickup orders in the drive-thru, it would be helpful to place a sign indicating where orders should be picked up inside your store, rather than blaming me. Many restaurants/stores have pick up only stations- I am sure you know this. Additionally, my back was not turned; I wish I could see this video, because I vividly remember facing the work space. I stood at the pickup counter for a few minutes and was the only customer in the store at that time (I see you didn't provide the time I was at the pick-up counter-interesting). At least one of your staff members saw me, and while I can accept that some may not have noticed me, or there was no ill-will, and can accept your apology, the false information you shared is concerning. I don't understand why you would provide false information. A more helpful solution-focused response would've gone a long way. In the grand scheme of themes, I don't blame the staff, they are teens/young adults. It's the owner's response that is surprising. He is more interested in proving his point than hearing from his loyal customers. And that is evident in his responses to unfavorable reviews. Such a disappointment. Take care! When it is 109* in Texas, this is the only relief. I love Bahama bucks. I try not to go every day. This service is what you'd expect from a hodgepodge of teenagers but it's a drive-through so mediocre is sufficient. The one thing I don't like is in the drive-through they ASK for a tip. I LOVE Bahama Bucks. And I was excited that there is a location near me. Typically I go to the one in Arlington. I use to live around the corner from This location.. When I arrived I could barely walk because the floor was so sticky my sandals were sticking to the floor. And this is right at the entrance. Me and my boyfriend ordered and I tried the mangonada. I was really craving something sweet and sour. Received my item and my cup was super sticky like the floor. So of course I drank it down and tried to wipe around it. It was too messy to deal with. It's chamoy, tajin, syrup running down the cup. This was no issue. I asked the worker in front of me. " May I have an additional cup. Which I have asked many times before at separate locations and with a smile I'm given a new cup to double cup my drink. The man told me "there are cups at the front . So I walked to the front. And there were water cups. So I said excuse me sir May I have the same size cup because my cup is very sticky. He told me no. Or I could pay $0.50 or re cup it . I didn't want it recupped. I just wanted a cup so I could leave . He stuck his hand out and I handed him my drink . I kindly declined and asked just for a new cup. He told me no, he could re make it or give me a flat top or I could pay $0.50 ... at this point I'm so confused as to what the issue was with just giving me a cup so i could leave . Then he said I can wipe it off but I won't get an additional cup. I said no sir I don't want you to wipe my cup off ... clearly the rag is clearly used to wipe down the counter, or even for other cups. But no thank you. He offered to dump it in another cup. At this point I'm irritated, I asked for a refund. We glared at each other and he offered to remake it. My drink was literally perfect the cup what just unmanageable and him offering to remake it or dump it into a new cup just confused me because either was you are wasting the cup.
