Food: One of the few places in Arlington that serves a decent chamango/mangoneada/vulcan whatever you wanna call it. It consists of a perfect blend of sweetness to tangy chili with some mango chunks, ice, and those tamardind sticks! They used to only sell them for around $5 but now they have a smaller size for about $3.40 which is perfect for me on a hot day while I'm running errands. Their elotes is pretty awesome too because they use frozen corn instead of the canned ones so it's still crunchy and not soggy when you bite into it. I would definitely recommend! Atmosphere: small hole in the wall place that you would miss unless you've heard about this place from someone. Want to add some extra sugar for the day? This is the right place to come! There was a line to the door when we came on a Sunday afternoon which meant it had to be good. The menu is written in Spanish but there are some English translation below the words. In addition, it is cash only so make sure you run to the ATM prior. I love Mexican desserts including the mango candy, flan, horchata, chips, and so forth. This place had all of these so there was more than plenty of options for us to choose from. We ended up ordering volcan, ice cream, drinks, and flan. The Volcan or the mango-spicy-drink was very good! If you ever had the mango lollipop usually at Mexican markets, that was what was wrapped around the straw dipped inside a mango slush. I was really full from eating 10 min prior so I ended up sharing that drink. But one per person sounds about right. We had two ice creams, coconut and strawberry. I prefer the coconut one for taste and how soft it was. One of the drinks we ordered was the horchata which was rice milk and cinnamon. I prefer that drink more than the other one (I believe it was strawberry). Both drinks come out in this massive cup so you might want to share that. Overall, the volcan was my favorite thing from the list of food we got. It is their most popular item so you will see almost everyone with the drink. Volcan is like a mango slushie with a spicy red liquid at the bottom and on top, fresh diced mango on top, and a candy tamarind straw. It's literally the perfect mix of spicy, sweet, and sour. If you've ever had pulparindo candy, it tastes like that to me, but so much better! Elotes is similar to say cream corn. It's corn, mayo, sour cream I think, and chili powder. Either way whatever it was, it tasted amazing! I don't even like mayo that much, but I seriously loved the corn. Prices are pretty reasonable so I recommend trying!
