Really good shaved ice here! I like it with extra juice! Be ready to spend your money though!

The best thing for this Texas heat is shaved ice. Plenty people agreed with me because the drive thru was packed. The line went quick, however. They no longer have my favorite flavor, which is cheesecake, so I opted for banana. It was so good. There is a little play area outside as well, perfect for kids. Now all I need is for Bahama Bucks to put a location in one of the two retail shopping centers that's coming up near me. Hint, hint! read more

Think this place is fine. Tons of flavors... pretty overwhelming honestly. I like that the toppings are throughout the entire cone and not jsut at the top. It's pretty dang expensive for shaved ice and flavor though. Same price as ice cream! read more

Muttering under their breath, rolling their eyes, giving long glares, so obviously laughing at customers, etc. If you can't handle working in a place that caters to families and children, perhaps work elsewhere? It's one thing to be annoyed; it's another to be professional about it. Do your job and serve the customers without making a scene about it. Staff attitudes can make or break a business, and based on my experience, I would suggest they be much more selective during hiring. read more

Overall Ive really loved going to bahama bucks for many years but they definitely have some consistency issues. I usually get a bahama ramama which is a snow cone with a scoop of ice cream on the bottom. Most of the time it's delicious but recently I've had patches of snow cone with no flavoring or a snow cone drowning in syrup. It might be because the workers are always in a rush as there's usually a long line through the drive thru. Maybe try going during less busy hours. read more

I usually do not leave reviews, but the quality of snow-cones at this location has decreased drastically. I have frequented this Bahama Bucks for the past few months and have truly enjoyed the service and snow-cones until the past couple of weeks. At first, the snow-cones were well made (good ice to flavor ratio, great presentation) but they've become quite sloppy. Usually if I order a snow cone with chamoy they do a great job of adding it in layers throughout and not slapping it on the top! Tonight I went and the ice was also super slushy like ice cream and could barely hold its shape. I'm definitely taking a break after tonight or trying another Day and hoping I don't get whoever was working tonight. I dont see what all the rave is about...It's just ice...and it's very expensive for just ice. You know how much ice cost? NOTHING so I would say you pay for the syrup and cup. It's fine if you want to pay $4 for a couple of syrup pumps and a cup. Although their ice is thinly fine and you get the flavor through out but that doesnt justify how expensive it is. At the end of the day it's still just ICE!!!!! They can take out the umbrella they put in the snow cones and save me a buck! that paper umbrella doesnt do anything for me. and I dont care much for it. When my GF and I came here, we were tempted to buy some snow cones but ended up buying some creamy smoothies. We ordered the Bahama Colada and the Wavebender. The Bahama Colada was quite refreshing and is perfect for anyone who enjoys creamy smoothies. Both the pineapple and coconut flavors were well balanced, and I highly recommend this smoothie to anyone who enjoys a treat that's not overwhelmingly sweet. Unfortunately, the wavebender was not as balanced and was too sweet even for my sweet tooth. I would assume it's because the wavebender is made with vanilla ice cream, and topped with whipped cream as well. Also, it's difficult to discern the different flavors in the waveblender because the sweetness masks them. The line was long but the teens handled it well. But no umbrellas and no spoons What I didn't like was the cashier asked for cash during a pandemic!!! Most places are taking cards only right now. I didn't see any ringing up on the register and they couldn't produce a receipt when requested which makes me suspicious of the good ol' pocketing that goes on often in these type of establishments with no managers. Sno cones do have their place in the world. It's called summertime. There's nothing better (except ice cream) to cool you off during the heat of the day or in the evening as the moon comes up and Texas is starting to cool down a few degrees. I was with a bunch of friends and a cute little two month old and a fuzzball of a dog named linc. Off we went to Bahama Bucks after we did some chicken on the grill. We made it there right before close (although the drive-thru was open an additional half hour). We weren't the only ones there. Right up to the doors being locked, they were busy. They have way too many flavors to list along with lite flavors and super sour flavors and something called the Bahama Mama Rama, which was a sno cone with Blue Bell ice cream at the bottom. I opted for a new flavor. Salted Caramel. It was sooooooooooo good. It needed more sea salt but a small was more than enough. Its got a nice patio out back with plenty of seating and a ring toss game. Thankfully it cooled off enough by the time we got there. Saw the supermoon and enjoyed fun with friends. Been to this location a few times. Snow cones are decent. Lots of flavors to choose from and mix if you'd like. The pickle juice is my favorite, not actual pickle juice but a premade syrup, but very close in flavor. There are also extra add on for an additional price, cream, ice cream, sour syrup. This is more like shaved ice than the hard ice type of snow cones. Service is so-so. And it's a 50/50 shot that the tables will be clean and not sticky. If you're looking for something to warm up the also offer hot chocolate, never had it though. You can apparently buy "snow balls" and while I don't remember the exact price it was a bit on the expensive side, but I guess worth it if you need "snowballs" when it's not snowing outside. They have board/card games available to play but I haven't found one that has all or even most of the pieces. There is a coupon for checking in via Yelp. Shaved ice was pretty good. Refreshing on a hot summer day. I love that they have thin options so you can have a calorie-free dessert. You can really taste the difference though. They confused our order when we got to the window but they corrected it immediately. I got a small cone with watermelon and sour-patch! It was amazing. The ice here is so fluffy and soft if you haven't tried this place please do it. I corrected him at the window when he stated my order wrong but there was no hesitation to fix it. You haven't had a good sno cone until you try the one's here at Bahama Buck's. The unique thing about the ice is that the it texture mimics a slushie, but it's thick enough to stay stay in one piece. Most of the time you have a sno cone that consists of ice that is too thick so you taste a strong flavor at the top and the bottom, but nothing in between. That's not the case with Bahama Buck's. Whatever flavor you get, you're going to taste it in every bite. The smoothies here are decent, but there's nothing too special about them. Things I've tried that have I would highly recommend: Lemon-Lime Sno Mango Sno (although it really doesn't take like Mango..) Apple Sno (candy apple) Strawberry Bliss Smoothie update: They're now advertising a new flavor and for cinnamon lovers, this is it! The cinnamon flavor they offer is decent, but not great. I've been here only once, so my review may not be very accurate. It seems like a cool little place. We saw a lot of people hanging out in the patio even in this heat. We got the Cheesecake Shaved Ice and the Pink Bubblegum Shaved Ice. Both tasted really good and were refreshing. The service here is unbearable .. and it's not even a restaurant!! How can it be so bad when all you need to do is say "hi" , "have a nice day" and throw a fake smile at a customer? The kids here are so young and in puberty that they think they're too good to be working here or anywhere else. It's been so frustrating going here for the past several years because every time you go through here .. you leave with a bitter taste in your mouth from the bad service. For years my whole family had been ignoring it and trying to make the best of it by not even going inside and just getting it through the drive thru but now we just don't go there all together.
