In the midst of this coronavirus insanity, my husband and I wanted to support our local independent Chinese restaurant so we tried Baily's for the first time after hearing great reviews from neighbors. We were not disappointed!! Not only was the service exceedingly friendly and helpful, the food was OUTSTANDING. I typically do not like egg rolls that have bean sprouts instead of cabbage, but these were seriously delicious. I ordered the General Tso Chicken and asked for the sauce on the side - that was the best Chinese entree I've ever had. The chicken was cooked to perfection and it was a giant portion! First time ordering here and I will say off the bat, portions are very generous and the establishment is super clean!! We ordered a side of lo mein, only thing with their lo mein is its not the thicker noodles as I hoped for. They have more of the ramen style. The sesame chicken was good. My brother and father have both been telling me to check this place out for nearly a year. My first experience here was ok. To start of with, the woman who took my order over the phone was not very pleasant. She wasn't rude per say, but not very helpful either. I ordered the House Won Ton, which I order at every new Chinese place I go. The broth was better than most places, and the veggies were nice and crisp; however, there wasn't much veggies to go around. The sliced pork and chicken (which was a bit dried out) were not plentiful either, but the taste was dead on. The actual won ton themselves were mediocre at best. I also ordered the pan fried dumplings, both steamed and fried. I usually enjoy the steamed much more, but the fried ones here were particularly good. Better yet was the dipping sauce for them. I also ordered egg rolls and spring rolls. The spring rolls were ok, but the egg rolls were filled with a delicious bean sprout blend, which I prefer to cabbage. Overall, I'd say this place is worth another shot, but if it does t raise the bar by the next time I go, it will certainly be the last time I go. read more

OMG... UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP. the FOOD IS FIT FOR A STRAY DOG. I been going to this location for almost 6 years. The prices has been raised, customer service is HORRIBLE . When I called to ask if they had new cooks they said yes but same owners -they lied. For a 4 star Chinese restaurant- definitely disappointing! The shrimp fried rice that I ordered with the combo had 5 cut up pieces from probably one big piece of shrimp. Oh my gosh, first time going here and we're from the area. We ordered a sweet and sour chicken dinner, chicken pad Thai, and a order of fried rice. HUGE portions and SOOOO yummy. It fed 3 of us and we still have left overs. The food was still steaming hot when we got home, and we have a 15-20 min drive home. Will definitely go back for more. read more

By far the worst food I've had that I can remember. Pad Thai was just like soup with only a soy sauce flavor, with I think pasta noodles. Absolutely nothing good about the food, even the egg rolls were cold, dry and small. I rarely post reviews, but this place is the worst. Come here often to get General Tso, Sweet Sour chicken, kungpao chicken, etc. the price is reasonable in the area. I usually get the combination plates because it comes with the egg rolls. They give dinner rolls as well. I always do carry out. Great Chinese food in the Macomb area. read more

Ever since Golden Bowl closed, the choice for quality Chinese takeout in the area has been bleak. I don't know how long Baily's has been open but this place is just as good! The food is excellent, prices are reasonable, and the portions are HUGE! Highly recommended. read more

We thought we would try a new restaurant and support a local business but this was absolutely the worst Chinese restaurant we have ever visited. The dumplings were under cooked and tasted like dough. The soups were both cold, the wonton chips were old and burnt tasting, and the sesame shrimp was actually over cooked sesame breading as there was almost no shrimp inside the breading. Just got an egg roll and shrimp lo Mein for a quick Carry out. Egg roll was pretty tasty but sauce didn't have a lot of flavor. While the lo Mein was good, it was a smaller portion, only like 4 shrimp and served with rice. This is the only place I've ever had white rice served with my lo Mein. We've tried this place for the first time about 8 months ago and have returned each time we are looking for Chinese. We have eaten our food there and have had take out. We are usually the only ones there when we eat, but it's nice, kinda like eating at your mom's house...just get up and ask for this or that or just a shout backwards if you sit near the pick up counter. The Egg Drop soup and Almond Chicken gravy are excellent. I've also had the Sweet & Sour Shrimp, which is excellent too. The roll doesn't seem to be freshly made that day...but is still good.
