Sesame chicken, which tasted like just orange chicken with sesame on it...

I'm not trying to be rude, but I genuinely don't understand how this place has a 4+ rating. My combination dinner was swimming and sauce, almost at the point ofbeing uneditable. I'm pretty sure the Sesame chicken combination dinner is not true Sesame how chicken, but an orange or sweet-and-sour chicken with sesame on top. The pan fried noodles are extremely dry and have zero flavor other than grease. When this place gets a high rating, my best assumption is it's due to getting a large amount of food for a decent price.

If you're looking for real good food definitely try wing wong. Really good service. I ordered the beef flat noodle, egg rolls, and pan fried noodle. All very good. Highly recommend.

White rice, be specific when ordering if you desire fried rice. Marlboros or pills not included.

My daughter worked here years ago and would occasionally bring home orders that were never picked up. As a good father, I wanted to provide a good home for these dishes. I accepted the responsibility that goes with harboring the unwanted. Burp. This is how I came to love Wing and his modest carry out restaurant! I have never ordered any of the standard lo mein or traditional noodle dishes. I cannot comment on that. However, Wing does provide something I don't see at other restaurants. I have not even seen it on his menu, it's advertised as a special somewhere within the restaurant. "Pan fried noodles". They are very simple, not in any sauce, a nice oil fried noodle with just a hint of sweet. It's only a few dollars and you get a pint serving. It's great for a snack or an additional side to share. Highly recommended. I usually order a chicken dish. Sweet-and-sour or general Tao. Sweet-and-sour pork I have also tried. All three dishes are good, tender and nice crisp breading. I will say that you will not taste much difference between the general tao and the sweet and sour. The general Tao doesn't seem to be traditionally served how you will find at other establishments. It much more resembles sweet-and-sour, you may think you got the wrong dish when you get home. One tip to avoid irritation: When ordering, be specific on exactly what you're looking for. If you want a combination served with fried rice and egg roll, make sure you state those words, otherwise it will come with white rice and you will not receive an egg roll. I have been irritated before, and just chalked it up as a lesson learned. Wing is a hard working, gentle and kind man. He is usually a one-man operation. There is no dining in. If you call during normal operating hours of business and do not get your call answered, wait a few minutes and call back. CASH ONLY BUSINESS last I knew. Order some Wing. You can't go Wong.

When I finally took a spoonful, it was way over-salted. I dropped a couple fried wontons into the container, to see if that would help. That's when I discovered that the fried wontons have a sugar coating on them. That clinched the fact that I'm not eating the soup. The egg roll was pretty good. I opened up the combination dinner. It was a huge portion of steaming hot fried rice and a decent helping of chicken lo mein. Unfortunately the chicken lo mein was coated in a very sweet hoisen sauce, thick and super sweet. This is not really the typical lo mein kind of sauce that I was expecting. The dish was mostly noodles, chicken and sauce. There were three snow pods in the meal and two matchstick carrots. As I lifted the noodles, the whole bottom was swimming in that sweet hoisen sauce. This place has gotten some good reviews, so I may give them another try but definitely not ordering the lo mein any more.

The ABC chicken was not my favorite, but it never has been. The gravy was pretty good, much better than some I've had. Before I get into the food, I really want to call out our server, Amanda C. We had never been there before and she was incredibly attentive to us, explained everything that they offered, gave us a lowdown on the spice they used and how it ranks compared to other foods ("This one is about the heat level of Buffalo Wings") which was great. My wife likes her food spicier than me so she asked if she could have some extra spice on the side and she brought out 3 different kinds of spices for her to experiment with, which was above and beyond. When it was time for us to leave, she brought out extra sauces for some of the appetizers we didn't finish so we could enjoy them at home, and even gave us little plastic containers if we wanted to take the extra spices home separately. Truly great and I hope the next time we come here, she'll be able to serve us. Now on to the food! Dynamite shrimp was very tasty but could have been a little spicier in my opinion. The breading and crunch was very good, just not as spicy as I usually feel like it's served. Brussels Sprouts were delicious and my wife and I cleaned the plate. Will definitely be ordering that again. The Yellowfin was good and maybe would've stood out more if the other items weren't better in my opinion but still tasty. Chicken Satay was very tender and flavorful and the peanut sauce was delicious. My favorite item was the House Speciality Fried Rice. We got it with tofu and vegetables. The fried egg on top was great and I literally don't think I've had better fried rice in my life. I truly don't want to eat any other fried rice but this one, which is a bummer because it's a 15 minute drive and not on the corner next to my house. We also had the Thai Iced Tea. I generally love this drink and it was good, but not the best. The crushed ice on top was quite excessive and I wound up scooping most of it out cause it wouldn't watered down my drink before I even got to it. I'd say bigger chunks of ice in that drink or maybe you can order it with light ice. Total was around $85 which is a pretty reasonably priced meal for 2, but Happy Hour prices attributed to that. We also made sure to give Amanda a nice tip for her excellent service. Will definitely be back!
