We were celebrating Friendsgiving this year and this restaurant was a wonderful place for it! The interior is very warm, welcoming and cozy. The bar area is beautiful. The food was great - has a little bit of everything although I did wish I was more truly authentic Argentinian dishes. With that said, everything our party of 8 ordered was phenomenal! My lobster ravioli was perfect. Cocktails and wine selection is well crafted and delicious. Service was excellent and attentive even though it was thanksgiving and restaurant was full. Baires Grill is an elegant and classy Argentinian restaurant in Sunny Isles at the RK Plaza. Dress code would be classy casual. They have Happy Hour Mon-Fri 4:00pm -7:00 pm, which we went to last Thursday. The bar has only 6 seats and there were 6 of us. The 50% off discount is only applied to bar food and drinks and you have to eat and drink at the bar. I don't know how it is handled if other people want to enjoy the happy hour seating and eating rules. But it worked out good for us because we came early. I'm only reviewing what my daughter and I ate and drank, not our friends' orders. Our bill has everyone's food and drinks on it but we split it up and we paid for our own. The restaurant adds the tip on the bill, even if you buy one drink, they add the tip. We had the Beef Carpaccio, Provoleta (fried cheese), and fried Beef Empanadas. They were very good! My daughter had a custom white Sangria made for her and I stuck with water. Our server, trainee B, was friendly and attentive. Parking was not an easy thing to accomplish. All spots are shared by all the businesses at the Plaza. So there are designated spots for deliveries in front of the businesses and the customer has to park wherever there is a spot and not necessarily close to the business you are going to! This was the only problem for us in coming to Baires. Otherwise, we will come back again in the future but not for the happy hour because of the small bar, lol. Had dinner a while ago, my overall experience was wonderful. Very welcoming and nice restaurant. We ordered the parrillada for 2, all the meats were tender, the chicken and sausage was cooked perfectly. We also ordered vegetables and everything was fresh and savory. I ordered a sangria with our meal and it was very refreshing. The staff was top notch. We received an outstanding service by everyone from the hostess to the person who took care of us. (He was very tall, sorry I didn't wrote your name), but we appreciated your service and you making our dinner time even more special by your attentiveness and hospitality. Food and service was very good. We ordered the Parrillada, which was mostly good. Unfortunately all the meat, especially chicken, was overcooked and dry. Don't bother with the Caprese Salad, the tomatoes were terrible--probably off the shelf from Kroger--and the cheese was an uninspiring mozzarella. The chefs added no seasoning other than a splash of bland olive oil and sprigs of basil to try to overcome the poor quality ingredients. My only complaint is the prices were very high, but half price bottles of wine on Mondays made it more reasonable. I guess the high prices are to be expected in Miami. read more

Big issue, hidden, 18% tipping, many don't see small type on top of menu hidden w/another statement. No choice, to rate the food, place, waiter, or not, you are tipping 18% NEW LAW IN FLA. IN 2025, FROM THIS PRACTICE. Because they are all doing it. There are serious questions about the validity of that rating The food ,service and price, I encountered, doesn't merit that. Happy hour, Bartender service, 18%, that makes no sense. Waiter was new, a vegetarian, and in a steakhouse. No recommendations, difficult to communicate and find. Ordered NY steak, from her reco, as most ordered, not crowded, took 25 minutes, looked nice, that's all it did. Never expected a fatty, tuff steak under that nice char, at this "supposedly level" of a restaurant. I ordered a bake potato, I was told it comes loaded, said OK. I received a potato, glued to the foil, pre cooked, w/the load in it under the foil, cooked it more, inedible. CHARGED AN EXTRA $7. Bread arrived, w/out butter, 25 minutes after we had to request, The bus boy was so quick, it was taken after one piece. My wife received the Filet Mignon, small, over cooked from her request, and french fries that were better than what we were receiving, but the waiter never brought ketchup or any sauce, and she couldn't be found. The desert, which we never order, was a cheesecake, it was terrible and also inedible. If I could of found the waiter, who disappeared, I would of returned it, but we waisted too much time there, just wanted to pay and leave, which ended up my last problem, as I didn't see, with the low lighting, the tip included, which was more than she deserved, and I tipped her again. read more

Beware they charge $8 for a bottle of tap water. My 18 year old son took his girlfriend for valentines there and they took advantage of him. Never told him there was a charge for tap water and he was charged $16 just for water. I had friends in town who love a good steakhouse, so they decided to make a reservation for dinner at Baires Grill. We arrived a couple minutes early soour reservation only to find out that he had made the reservation at a different location than we were currently at! The hostess suggested taking a seat at at the bar to see if we can get a table, which we happily took her up on! At the bar, I ordered a dark and stormy and my friend ordered a planters punch, both popular enough drinks for any bartender to be able to whip up. The bartender asked me a couple times what a dark and stormy is before admitting he didn't know how to make it. I even told him the three ingredients (rum, lime, and ginger beer), and he kind of just gave me a blank stare. By the time my friend ordered the planters punch he just simply gave up and said "we don't make those." It seemed odd, but we settled on other drinks instead. I will say, once we got our drinks, all three were impressively delicious! We were seated relatively quickly, which we were grateful for since we messed up the reservation! I ordered the Mila Fugazzeta (a milenesa with Sauteed Onions, Mozzarella and Parmesan Cheese, and Oregano. It was supposed to include black olives, but I ordered without). I had a hard time choosing between the milenesas because they all looked so good! Both of my friends ordered steaks. Our food was delicious! One friend felt his steak was quite fatty, but I loved my dish. The fries on the side were great too. Overall, my experience was mixed! I thought the food was great and our service was above and beyond with our faulty reservation, but the bar being unable to make pretty basic drinks was weird. Especially since this place is definitely marketing itself as "high end!" I came here with a friend and we sincerely enjoyed the attentiveness and winning dishes we tried 10 out 10 onion soup and dulce de leche (explosion) cake. Those were divine. Visited Baires Grill twice within 2 weeks because their French onion soup is probably one of the bests I've ever tried! Absolutely delicious! During my first visit I went with a friend and I tried the steak salad and it was great! The steak was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. For dessert We shared their dulce the leche molten cake and it was so good! Perfectly sweet but balanced with the ice cream. The second time we visited my husband ordered the skirt steak with mashed potatoes and they were both perfect! So yummy! The steak needed a little bit of salt but other than that it was really good. I tried the Prosciutto di Parma Tortellini and wow! Sooo yummy! I wish I could have given it 5 stars because the food is incredible, however the first time I went with my friend, we asked for our dish on a container to go and they took it away to wrap it up but we never got it back and we didn't realize until after we had left. The second time my husband and I went we had about 4 different servers and we asked all of them for lemon and no one ever brought it for us so that was a little annoying. Your plates are cleared and water refilled without you asking. Nicely decorated comfortable chair and soft white and taupe color give it a peaceful ambiance. Excellent wine selection from USA and Argentina. The food is delicious and great quality beef. We had the traditional parrillada for 2 and it comes with beef short ribs, churrasco, vacío, molleja (special cut) Argentinean sausage and blood sausage another delicacy. We had a great time visiting Baires! We walked right in for our reservation and were seated immediately. Very nice atmosphere and the bar looks amazing. We ordered our drinks and they brought us a basket of bread. The bottom of the bread was extremely hard, so all that was eaten was the top of the bread. We ordered a London G&T and Espresso Martini and it was delicious - excellent cocktails! Our sever came and took our order: I ordered Prime Picanha Steak with mashed potatoes, my wife ordered Mila Provoleta with a side salad, the boys ordered kids pasta with cheese, and filet mignon with French fries. We also added an order of Sweet Potato fries. Our food was brought out pretty fast and all of it was absolutely delicious!! The reason for the four stars is our server was more attentive to the table next to us rather than splitting his time evenly between the two tables. We asked for ketchup for the French fries and it was never brought to our table. My eldest wanted a sprite after he consumed all of his water, but we didn't receive it until another person came and started taking away our dishes. At one point we had four empty water glasses and still waiting for the sprite. We requested more water too and the other person (not our server) kindly filled our water glasses and brought us another sprite. I definitely understand that majority of these patrons were regulars, but please try to split your attention evenly. I have been to other Baires Grill's before and have always left very content. This experience was no exception. The staff was friendly and helpful. The place is beautifully laid out, with great decor inside and a wonderful outside patio that is covered. Before asking for a table outside, do be aware that it is next to the street so it can be a bit loud for some people. Now for the food. From the Sangria to the Panqueques for dessert, my table and I were savering every last bit of what was brought to our table. The parrillada was great. The meat was cooked to our desired term, perfectly salted and they even let us get an extra chorizo instead of the blood sausage it usually comes with. The creamed spinach was also well made and exactly that, creamy! The dessert we got is an Argentine specialty and I highly recommend you order it.
