First time here and I have mixed feelings. The restaurant is very nice and well kept. It has a bar in the middle and 3 dinning areas as well as outside seating. We sat inside and like that although there are some TV's the sound was not overwhelming. Truthfully the best part of our dinning experience was our server Lissette. She was very nice, treated us with care and was consistently checking in. She made nice conversation with a smile and didn't seem rushed when taking our order. Now for the food there were good and not so good things. We had wagyu carpaccio which was tasty but it had some kind of spread, I think it was garlic sauce, and Parmesan cheese on top which overpowered the taste of the beef. Although it tasted good, we would have preferred just some oil or lime. My husband had a picaña steak which was seasoned very well and was tender. We got truffle fries with it which were very good. I ordered the gnocchi and I was disappointed the texture was too doughy and the sauce was not very appetizing. It had like a freezer burn taste. I had only about 1/4 of the dish and could not finish it. For dessert we had caramel creme brûlée and it was delicious. The dishes are a good price and overall we enjoyed our lunch I just wish I could have enjoyed my food more. Nonetheless if we are ever in the area again we will consider giving it another chance.

I've been here a couple of times, but I haven't left a review, I would say it OK, but I've been disappointed for the past two visits. Last month, I had lunch with a coworker, but after we ate, it was really hard to get our server's attention. We had to wait an hour to get the check. This time around, it was pretty good. The service was great! The food was ok, unfortunately, I asked for a medium done steak as the server asked me how would I like it cooked, but I got well done instead. Other than that, I can not complain!

We came here for our daughter's birthday and to taste their miami spice menu. We were pleased to know that on Tuesdays, it was 50% off wine bottles, and they had entertainment for the night, which was a couple tango dancing all over the restaurant. For appetizer, we ordered the diced potatoes seasoned & topped with a fried egg, the tomato wedge salad & the mussels in garlic. However, the mussels ended up in a red sauce vs. the garlic sauce I was expecting. Overall, they were pretty tasty but not what I was anticipating. We ordered the steak special with fries and garlic spinach , which was delicious. We also got the branzino dish, which was a decent size perfectly cooked & crispy skin, which I rarely have the skin from the fish. My daughter ordered the ricotta cheese gnocchi. For dessert, we ordered a nice dessert wine (since the bottle was 50% off) & the dulce de Leche crepe & flan. These desserts & portions did not disappoint! For cocktails, I ordered their gin refresher & it did not disappoint!!! Our waitress, Lisette was outstanding! Extremely attentive & caring. Her recommendations were spot on. Great service! Only thing is, overall, they might be short staffed or logistically the servers are in all corners of the establishment. They do hustle! Will definitely return for a parrillada!

Delicious! I wish I could have tried the whole menu, everything sounded amazing! My table split a massive kale Cesar which was good, but I will say the croutons were stale. Still delicious overall! The waiter recommend the gnocchi and I am so glad I listened to him! It was delicious and filling, but not too rich. Very friendly and accommodating service!

I've enjoyed the food & ambiance at the Novecento in Brickell & just returned from Argentina. Meeting NYC friends for dinner in Aventura & figured Novecento is a sure bet. Easily I made reservations weeks in advance for a weeknight dinner. In 1991 Novecento opened in NYC, then Argentina, Uruguay & recently in South Florida. This Novecento is near the Aventura Mall with plenty of free parking. Happy hour was until 7:00, we were able to enjoy a two for the price of one select wine, beer or cocktail, I opted for an Argentinian Malbec which was fruity and delicious. The happy hour small plates didn't look too special, but we were here for dinner anyway. Lizette, our waitress took such good care of us. She made fabulous recommendations and was on point. Service couldn't be more wonderful. We weren't rushed & comfortably caught up with out of town friends for 3 1/2 hours over many courses. It was a beautiful evening and we enjoyed sitting outside at a big round table for six. The dinner menu was appealing; there was a large selection of empanadas, salads, sandwiches, homemade pasta, and Parrilla. There were Milangas, breaded chicken or beef cutlets with different toppings. Parrilla are all the cuts of beef that Argentina is known for from flank, skirt, fillet mignon, sirloin, ribeye, NY strip ... There were Parrillada platters for four which looked appealing. I'm not a big meat eater but the steaks & homemade pastas in Argentina were really special! Six of us enjoyed our mussels appetizers, salads with pasta or steaks, everything was delicious! Dinner prices here were reasonable and portions were generous. We tried to save room for the Creme Brûlée de Dulce de Leche, thank you Novecento for the complimentary desserts even without a song. Everything was absolutely delicious!

Went on Valentine's Day and the restaurant was superb! The atmosphere transported you straight to Argentina. Our waitress was great despite how busy it was and any other server there was more than happy to help with any requests. The picaña and entraña were cooked to perfection! These cooks are skilled, as they didn't burned a well done steak like most restaurants do. Not them, they actually know how to cook it well done and still keep it pretty juicy ! Added some salt flakes and accompanied our steaks with potatoe salad and it was a successful meal. The drinks were a perfect balance as well, the mule was exceptional with just the right amount of ginger beer

Got there a little before 6 and enjoyed their prosecco (2 for 1 drinks during their happy hour) Dinner with friends from NY, we were not rushed from our outdoor table. Lizette our waitress was exceptional! Her recommendations were spot on. While they have a large selection of, their salads, bread, steak and bolognese were all real good! Their complimentary crème brulee was a fitting end to a good dining experience. Would definitely go back.

Ok, let's go: top to bottom, it doesn't mean it was bad, this means my favorite then I cut to the final act! Shrimp in Parika (happy hour) WTF, yep!!! Rib Eye Steak - delicious Hanger Steak yummy! Blacken Tomatoes have potential, ask for them to be blacken completely on the top and they are winners Desert- Gelato yep Chocolate cake - hmmmm yep Crepe - it's good Flan it is good, just not my thing Our server Lola was fantastic, you should ask for her!!! The management team was Awesome! Do it! Hanger Steak

I've heard of this place before, plenty of times and I'm happy that I went to try it out for the first time. The service was amazing. Our server was super kind and accommodating. She noticed the bartender gave me too much beer foam so she decided to offer me a new beer to compensate for the foam, which I truly appreciate. I didn't even have to mention it because she already knew and I love the initiative. The meat on the other hand was decent. I've had better steak before and nothing about this meat, especially the Picana stood out to me. The Souffle de Dulce de Leche was delicious, I highly recommend but the flan was also decent, a little grainy. Overall it was a great experience but definitely the food was a disappointment.

The service was excellent. We had a large party and our server was super attentive, kind and friendly. For the food we shared the parrillada which was huge! It is definitely a lot of food and good item to share for 3-4 people. I also loved the soufflé de dulce de leche which was essentially a dulce de leche crepe. The restaurant is a little pricey for the size of the portions of appetizers and desserts so that's why I highly recommend doing one of the shareable entrees it comes with several sides as well.

My to go happy hour place in Aventura. Service is excellent, since I'm always at the bar, I always get served by Lou (amazing bartender with impeccable customer service). The restaurant is super relax and cozy . By now I tried all of their cocktails on happy hour and 2for1 special is always welcome and it's everyday from 3PM to 7PM Since it's an Argentinian restaurant you will find a lot of meats dishes and the wine selection is sublime. For the amount of time I've been there, I never had a bad experience and I hoping it will stay like that forever.

Visiting from So California and this was a great dining experience. I sat at the bar solo and Lola and Janae were my servers working at the bar. Arrived in time for a great happy hour Choripan that was so DELICIOUS. A must have here. Their happy hour drinks were 2 for one or 1/2 price. I had the Bolognese and it was one of the tastiest pasta dishes I've had. The atmosphere was relaxed with jazzy type music. I highly recommend Novecento.

The turn in is a bit awkward, but there parking lot was pretty much empty at that time (and completely full by the time we left). I do not have a large car and the spots are super narrow. If you drive a truck, I would not try to park in the inner lot in front of the entrance. The place is clearly LGBT friendly; kudos for the pride flags out front. I immediately felt like I was walking into a hipster cafe in Cali. You order and pay inside; get a table number and the bring your food and drinks out to you. There's indoor and outdoor seating. I got the secret pita and golden latte. Service was relatively quick. Drink came then food shortly after. I totally wasn't thinking when I got the golden latte. It was a bit warm outside for a hot latte but I wanted to try something unique. Hard to describe but I enjoyed it. It came with granola on the dish. Not sure if you are supposed to throw it in. The squirrels and birds ended up eating mine. Yes, there was a lot of wildlife that was not shy. The squirrel was literally eating out of my hand and would have sat on our table if my friend allowed it. The bird flew in and did just that though. Came back for seconds a few times. Then as the place got busier, they must have gone off to bother others. As an animal lover, this was a fun perk but may be a turn off to some. The presentation for the pita was unexpected. I had to open a the box to get to my meal. You can choose how the egg is cooked. I went with the default sunny side up. The chorizo hit. Hummus was ok. Kind of bland. I didn't care for olives and picked the fruit off my dessert pita. Felt like I had enough pita carbs by the time I got to it. The ambiance was mostly peaceful. They do play music which was on the border of getting too loud. Coffee was pricy but all coffee is now. The food was also on the high end. This would be a major factor on whether to come back. I don't recall anything unique on the menu aside from the pita. The menu appears to change seasonally though.

Consider that one star a gift to my server Julie who provided nothing but excellent service with a smile on her face. First introductions are everything. My partner and I were dismissed completely by the manager who was too busy chatting it up with solicitors. Not even a simple "I'll be right with you." Julie caught wind of this and immediately swooped in. The menu is pricey but I assumed that the portions would make up for it. This assumption was correct, but my food's presentation was the equivalent to what you'd serve a dog. I ordered the egg salad club with a side of fries; if you're searching for an establishment that cooks with love just leave. The egg salad was unseasoned and I'm unsure that half-smashed boiled eggs constitutes as egg salad. The fries were piled on top as if a tired teenage McDonald's worker was cooking it up in the back. My partner also agreed that their tuna melt was unseasoned. As we were leaving we decided to take a peek at the baked goods. In a final attempt to give this place the benefit of the doubt, we eyed a delectable looking chocolate chip cookie. I called over the employee behind the bakery counter to which she begrudgingly trudged on over. I took another look at the display to solidify what I wanted, but I noticed something unappetizing. FLIES. Not one fly, multiple flies having their way with the baked goods. We told her never mind and left the establishment. Never again will I step foot in this atrocity.

It was very busy and there was a wait for orders and food delivery. We tried a variety of dishes. The oysters were fine perhaps a little too much panko topping. It was hard to find the oyster. The grouper was very good. Their sweet potato fried 5 stars. I had the Birdie cocktail and it was a bit bitter and lacked the sweetness that I was expecting. Solid alcohol content, though, lol. We did have to send two dishes back to the kitchen on our two visits. Perhaps it was an off day. The matzah ball chicken soup was very good. The salmon was also very good. As a whole we hand an average dinning experience.

The owner has been arguing with customers, and it made it very uncomfortable, especially when I went to go pick up my order because once it was my turn, there was no customer service to be given. Just awkward silence. I was so uncomfortable I left not realizing I got one out of my two bags. I didn't even return. Wasn't worth tuning back to then become one of the victims to be yelled at. My partner loves this place so I keep coming back, but after the last three encounters with the same situation, it's not worth the drive from Fort Lauderdale all the way to Aventura. I'd rather find a small bakery nearby. It's unfortunate. The place has amazing food but I think everyone is stressed these days but when you own a place you have to keep your composure as your customers are your lifeline for your business to stay afloat. I don't think this review will make or break this bakery. They've obviously been here for a while, but definitely needs some refining when it comes to how you treat your customers. Thankfully, I was not on her bad side those few times I came in for my order, but it was just so awkward to stand behind these people as they argue with servers and or the owner. Multiple times this has happened on different occasions. That's my experience I hope others have better ones

The pastries were wet and not fully baked, (both times!) and the food had no flavor. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.. Based on the condition and appearance of the food, something is clearly not right. This place shouldn't be operating.
