Lunch buffet. Pretty inside. Inexpensive. Buffet is Monday to Friday and they have different options each day so check their website. All options are fabulous. I particularly liked their Thai iced tea. Very relaxing music at a perfect volume play overhead. Exceptional service.

Amazing Service, ambiance, and food was so fresh. I stopped in late last night 9pm with my girls and we were seated quickly as it was 1 hr til close time. Service was great, such kindness here. I loved how the kid's plates came out very kid friendly. I am so happy we stopped in as I have driven by many of times. Prices were GREAT!!! $4.95 per roll order

Sushi was on the menu for tonight. I had heard about this place and decided to give it a try. I loaded my two kids and their littles. A party of 5 at 5:00 pm, and we were seated right away. Plenty of choices for Sushi rolls. We ordered 7 rolls and a sushi platter. The rolls were fresh and tasty. Although we were seated fast, our order took a while. Our order was sporadic. Some of my party received their meal, while some received partial. It took two hours for all food to come. So if you are not in a rush, give it a try.

We came again. The food is so amazing. I got pad thai this time. Get level 5 hot, I don't think it was Thai Hot tho. But the pad thai is delicious. Got some sushi, fish are fresh. So yummy. And the next day I get Seafood fried rice, this time the hot level is right. The service is good and nice. The restaurant ambience is calm and quiet, love it.

We were visiting the area for the weekend and happened to see this place as we were leaving the grocery store. It was around lunch on a Saturday and there a few families already there but we were seated promptly. The waitress was nice and helpful. The food we ordered came out pretty quickly. It was flavorful, hot, and the spice level was what I wanted and expected of a Thai restaurant. I was skeptical since it is Thai and sushi but I'm happy to say no watered down flavors here. Sadly, they do not serve papaya salad.

Baitong Thai & Sushi Restaurant. If you're in St. Augustine Beach and craving authentic Thai cuisine or fresh sushi, look no further than Baitong Thai & Sushi. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by a cozy ambiance and incredible service, thanks to our amazing server, Napa, who went above and beyond to make the experience unforgettable. The meal began with a trio of appetizers that set the tone for the night. The Jumping Jalapeño offered a delightful spice kick, the Crab Rangoon was perfectly crisp and creamy, and the Chicken Satay was tender, flavorful, and paired with a rich peanut sauce--absolute perfection. For mains, the standout dishes were the Green Curry Fried Rice with Shrimp, which was beautifully spiced and packed with fresh shrimp, and the Masaman Curry with Chili Hot Sauce, a warm, flavorful curry with just the right amount of heat. The warm green tea was the perfect complement to the meal, especially on a chilly evening. Whether you're dining in or taking your meal to go, Baitong Thai & Sushi is a must-visit for lovers of bold, authentic flavors. Their curry dishes--whether red, yellow, or masaman--are sure to impress. Plus, the ample parking makes it a convenient spot to drop by. We have been going to Baitong Thai and sushi for over three years. The owner and his family create traditional Thai dishes as well as yummy sushi. The service is always friendly and attentive. We come here for the Thai and a little sushi. We started with Spicy Tuna Nachos which is plenty for two to have a few fried wonton skins served with spicy tuna and diced avocado. My husband's go to is the Chrissy duck Pad Thai. I've never seen it on any other Thai food menu so we had to try it. The Pad Thai is classic with that sweet, not too sweet spice, and a touch of lime. It's topped with a perfectly crispy half duck sliced for easy serving. I ordered the Crispy Grouper. It's fresh grouper lightly fried to a crisp, served over sautéed fresh vegetables and served with a chili sauce.

We both had a noodle dish. Both were medium spice that was just right. The beef dish was very good. The pork was good but not quite as good as the beef. Both meals were enough to make another at home and were good the next day.

A friend and I got takeout from here on a Tuesday night. There were about 6-7 tables seated inside and I think only one server working! We were quoted 45 minutes for the food, and it took about 65. By the time we left there was a long line at the host stand. Not sure if it is a regular occurrence for them but seems like they were short staffed. The calamari was cold upon checking the bag, so we asked for a new one and once it was fresh it was amazing. We also ordered pad Thai, kids fried rice, Nam Sod, shrimp tempura with salmon roll, and spring rolls. Everything was excellent! The pad Thai was a favorite. For both the Pad Thai and the Nam Sod we ordered a "2" on the 1-5 scale of spicy. Be aware! The two was definitely pretty spicy. I would go with a 1 next time and we both are people that enjoy some kick to our food. Overall it was a good choice for takeout and the prices and portions are very reasonable.

I knew I wanted something simple for dinner, but I also knew John wanted good food- so when he said Thai, I figured I could order won ton and be happy. And I was! John went with his typical order- Pad Thai and enjoyed every bite. I ordered a bowl of won ton soup and the broth was very flavorful. My soup had bean spouts and carrots, which was extra tasty. Service was so fast- we had our food really quick. Dining room was big and I loved the light fixtures. John had spotted this the night before and made note of how packed it was- we were lucky it wasn't as busy when we went, but a busy restaurant is always a good sign! It was great food, highly recommend.

It's one of the best restaurants I have been to in my life. Probably the best Thai restaurant in St. Augustine. Not only was the food delicious -- seriously, everything we ordered was amazing -- the service was extraordinary. Jak, the owner, went above and beyond to ensure that we and our dogs were as comfortable as possible while eating outside in the Florida heat. He opened the big umbrella to provide us with shade, brought a bowl of water for our dogs as well as some treats, and even went as far as bringing out a fan to provide us with some breeze. My husband and I were blown away by this service; we've never been to a restaurant were the owner cares so much about the customers. As aforementioned, the food was also incredible. We started off with some curry fish cakes and curry puffs; both were very tasty and came with a sweet peanut sauce with vegetables. For our main dishes, we had the red curry chicken -- very flavorful and deliciously spicy, but not too spicy -- and the drunken duck noodles -- also very flavorful. To finish off our meal, we had the sticky rice mango, which was very yummy. Additionally, we had the mango boba and peach passion fruit boba teas, which were very refreshing in this summer weather. We'll definitely be back whenever we come back to St. Augustine and will recommend it to our friends and family when they visit.

Thai & I - Bunnell…read more Ella--our daughter--has been craving Thai, so we made our way back to one of our go-to spots. She ordered the Thai Noodle Soup (pork), and she calls this her comfort food--her version of chicken noodle soup. When our family is sick, we crave chicken noodle... this is that for her. My husband and I always say we're going to try something new... and then we panic and order our usual favorites because we don't want to miss what we already know we love For him: Massaman Curry (chicken) + rice For me: Pad Thai (chicken tonight, but I've had it with shrimp before and loved that too) I'm a wimp when it comes to spice, so here's a little hack--order it low (I got a level 1 ) and then use the chili oil they can bring to the table to build your own heat. Total game changer. Service was a little behind tonight--it took a bit to get our drinks (just water and tea), but since we knew what we wanted, we ordered everything at once. Once the food hit the table, it came out fast, hot, and delicious. Staff is always friendly, and they handled a full house--multiple larger parties (8-12 people) plus all the regular tables--so it was definitely a busy night. Drinks took a minute, but everything else--from the food to the friendliness--more than made up for it. Atmosphere is casual--shorts, jeans, and business casual from people coming off work. We were seated immediately, and they have a good mix of booths and tables to accommodate different group sizes. Portions are solid. We all left with leftovers (which isn't always the case for us). Our daughter basically only had broth left because she loved it that much--she's already planning round two tomorrow by adding noodles and protein. On a normal night, we'd finish everything and be completely full, but tonight we stopped at satisfied instead of stuffed. Pricing: about $16-$17 per plate Appetizer must-order: scallion pancakes. You don't know what you're missing until you try them. We could easily eat 50... but you get about 8 Location is just off US1 in Bunnell--an unassuming building with a gem inside. Watch for the signage or you might miss it. Reliable, flavorful, and one of those places we keep coming back to--especially when the craving hits.
