Lamp inside, next to the register/hostess desk

Bought thai buble tea here, worst one I have ever tried, tasted very weird. Also, the lamp inside, near the reception/hostess desk had lots of critters in it, see pics attached.

Quick and friendly service! We stopped by for lunch and were pleasantly surprised by this establishment. We ordered from the lunch menu, 2 veggie sushi rolls & 1 meal to share and it was more than enough, we were so full! The food was fresh and delicious and the service was friendly. The meal came out to $35, so inexpensive for such good food! Would definitely recommend stopping by!

We were in St Augustine for night of lights and stopped in for dinner. They were quick to take order and deliver it but that's where the service stopped no refills on drinks etc. the restaurant was well payed out with booths and tables. The food was not notable enough to warrant coming back. My daughter ordered Udon and compared it to an instant meal from Costco. Sadly my husband felt his Chicken Broccoli was just so so and my California Crunch roll had decent flavor it wasn't well built and fell completely apart so ate it with a fork instead of chopsticks.

Nice service. Decent menu. Good sake. Close to the house and work. A few missing dishes but the agadashe tofu was great.

I went hear with family while we were visiting St. Augustine and were pleasantly surprised! We came here on a Saturday night and were a bit skeptical due to no cars being there but we decided to come because we were hungry walking in restaurant it looked nice and clean and there was oriental music playing in the background which added to the experience, we asked for a hibachi table and were given our soups and drinks relatively quickly, our hostess/ waitress was very nice and we had no complaints towards her. The whole "show" was very fun, in the beginning the chef made a giant fire to clean the grill which was very cool and he was always open to questions and told us the ingredients he was using. Now the food, all of ordered the hibachi steak and chicken and it was priced very well for the amount of food you get, it comes with fried rice which is delicious and you get around 2 big spatulas of this yummy rice and some extra if the chef made extra, the steak was very good and so was the chicken we also ordered the tuna sushi which was very fresh and delicious

We came into Sakada late on a Saturday night almost at close. Our servers were great and the food came out very fast. We got the potstickers and the honeymoon roll and both were delicious!

We came here after a night out for a bachelorette party. First red flag- we were the only ones in the restaurant on a Saturday night. Our service was less than exceptional- no refills, awkward conversation, food was OK. Our server had to reconfirm our orders multiple times and still managed to get some things wrong. As the bride was leaving our server from the evening flicked her off. Def won't be back.

Wandered here since it was close to the hotel after a long day of exploring historic St Augustine. I had Yelp up and there was a place with more stars a little further down the street, but I was overruled by the weary wife. I was hesitant to venture in since the exterior looked like it could be a closed business...but I wisely kept my mouth shut. Inside, it's an eclectic mish-mash of traditional Japanese decor and someone's odd collection of ideas of what would make this place more interesting. We're talking about some circular lighting contraptions with "clouds" on them and some LED lights that blink different colors (if they work). To me, it looked like some sort of UFO on the ceiling. All around the restaurant there was some sort of flashing LED strip lighting too. The sushi bar was so lit up that it made the sushi chef look like a DJ behind the bar. The whole thing made me wonder if there was a rave scheduled for later. On to the food now. We decided to order individual soups and share a sushi roll. Now, I have a go-to place back home that has killer egg drop soup and this was nowhere close to that. If you've never had egg drop soup, don't make this one your first experience. If you enjoy other egg drops...skip this one. Very bland and watery to the point that the egg drops kinda grossed me out when I got some of that slimy texture. I grudgingly ate about 2/3rds of it and set it aside with crossed fingers that the sushi would be better. Well, the Titanic sushi roll was a beauty to behold and the LED lights were now shining down on us in all their glory. It was a good-sized roll, smelled fresh, and tasted good. It wasn't the best roll I'd ever had, but you kinda need to order more than one to figure out what "your roll" is at some of these places. In the end, it was pretty average and we didn't hate ourselves afterwards. Their menu looks to be pretty varied in Asian cuisine to meet touristy needs. If you're at the Doubletree, it's right next door so it's super convenient.

We received great service. As first time diners she was patient with as as we perused the menu. Our sushi selections were amazing and very fresh. The hibachi shrimp was grilled nicely, as were the vegetables.  The rice had great flavor. I was especially excited to find bubble tea! Such a surprise.  If you find yourself in the area, I recommend stopping in for a meal.

Then came the ramen, and wow. The broth alone deserves its own review deep, savory, clearly simmered with care. Noodles had the perfect chew, and every topping felt like it was placed with intention, not just thrown on top. I was scraping the bowl by the end, no shame. Service was friendly and attentive without hovering, and the vibe inside is cozy without trying too hard. Honestly can't wait to go back and work through the rest of the menu. If you haven't tried the ramen or tuna appetizer here, fix that ASAP. Will absolutely be back.

I was checked on very often. The servers were extremely knowledgeable about the menu and very helpful with selecting my dishes. The chef will often come table-side to introduce a dish or complete a dish with a sauce or finishing touch. Very impressed. Atmosphere: 5 The atmosphere is very nice. There are a few types of seating options. There's a "main bar," a smaller bar seating, the main dining, and an outside. I was seated outside, and it was a nice, cool day. There is also an open kitchen concept, so you can see the chef cooking as well. Value: 4 The pricing is relatively reasonable. While the food tasted okay, the service, atmosphere, and full experience truly makes this a worthwhile experience. Opportunities for Learning: 4 Lotus offers traditional ramen and Pan Asian dishes, there are many unique ingredients and cooking techniques that provide many opportunities to learn something new. Chef Barry is also a James Beard nominee so he is always exploring new dishes and techniques.
