I use to go to Monrovia location, last week first time try this Baja fresh location, the people take order more efficient than Moronvia store. Bag of chips for each order which Monrovia store didn't have. The store was much clearer especially the Salsa Bar. It's worth for me to drive a bit more for this location. read more

Yes I realize this is not authentic Mexican food, but it is damn tasty and I love their salsa bar! I've always had good experiences at this location, the staff is always friendly and my order is always right. 4* for food. I've been going to Baja Fresh restaraunts for years and it is my go to place for fresh mex. Their salsa bar is great and the food is consistently good regardless of the location and this location doesn't disapoint. I also like that they give complimentary chips. 2* Service at this location We usually get our food to go and ask for extra chips which are complimentary. However depending on the person they sometimes refuse. It is only at this location that I have run into this issue and I find it weird. read more

I always thought Baja Fresh was a dying franchise, especially when I visited the Rowland Heights location. Much to my surprise, I visited this location around noon on a Tuesday and found a line that circled around the restaurant. I've always enjoyed a baja burrito with steak since my college days, and never understood the hype around Chipotle and its flavorless burritos. I'm glad the citizens of Pasadena enjoy eating at Baja Fresh as much as I do, but I do wish the lines were shorter during lunch time. read more

Baja Fresh wasn't so fresh tonight. I ordered the Baja Bowl with steak, and my first bite of steak tasted like old cow. I could tell it had been sitting in warmer for at least an hour or so, my wife ordered the steak nachos, I tried a piece of her steak to see if it was just me, but nope same old cow taste. I don't get why the restaurant folks don't sample the food every now and then to be sure that the food items are fresh. My review is soley on the steak burrito because I don't order anything that doesn't have a piece of a cow with a tortilla wrapped around it. Real steak unlike Del Taco, Taco Bell, and King Taco. Baja makes one of the best burritos in L.A. I wanted to say Chipotle might be half notch better, but decided not to because their Corporate P.R. is just plain bull. Their website says "The best way to treat animals with dignity and respect is to allow them to display their natural tendencies." Dignity and Respect for animals? Did Chipotle forget they sell meat. Baja recently closed some of their stores in S. Cal, but I hope they don't go the way of the Dodo bird. read more

Waste of money going there. service is worst. we ordered a regular and was charged for a grande. the food was bland and tasteless. when we went to tell them about the problem, he didn't even bother to say sorry. they didn't include all the ingredients that were suppose to be in the plate. we asked for a baja enselada and it didn't have any tortilla chips and when we asked them for some. he smiled at us. very bad service and we would never recommend it to anyone. if your looking for a mexican grill a better choice would be chipotle. read more

Dinner Food made me sick" Tortilla taste fake, not fresh so I would advice too stay away!

My husband and I went to this location of Baja Fresh. 3615 Foothill Blvd. Pasadena Ca. on 2/5/2020 around 3:00 pm. We ordered our dinner and sat down. The same lady cashier (dyed her hair blond) took our order, started sweeping the floor and after she was done with that job, removed a big piece of chewing gum from her mouth using her hand and touched her lip and tongue and threw it away. At that time our food was ready and to my surprise she didn't wash her hands at all but instead she reached out and grabbed our plates of food to bring us. It grossed us out and when I expressed my concern, she started shouting at me saying: You are not my mother so don't tell me what to do. I said to her I'm a customer and it's important to me that my food is handled properly and hygienically. I complained to the manager but he didn't seem to be bothered much. Please Do Not go to this location since they don't treat customers with respect and proper hygiene. read more

Baja Fresh is always amazing. If you for some reason aren't satisfied with your food, they will do everything in their power to fix it. I've been coming to this Baja Fresh probably since it opened and have always had great food. Get the refillable cup if you're a regular (and remember to bring it with you!) as it's only a dollar for refills. The staff is always very friendly and genuine. read more

Baja Fresh, if you don't want people to use coupons, then stop issuing them!! I redeemed a "Free Burrito on your Birthday" coupon today and had a horrible experience with the manager on duty. Apparently you need to purchase a large drink in order to redeem this coupon and since I had my reusable cup with me, the cashier (who was very nice and friendly) only charged me for a refill instead of a large drink. While getting some salsa at the salsa bar, the manager called over to me and chastised me for not paying for a large drink. I told him that I simply had used my reusable cup and didn't realize that was a problem. He continued to go on and on about how I hadn't paid enough in order to get my free birthday burrito. I asked him if he wanted me to pay the difference and he said no, he just wanted me to know that I hadn't paid enough to get the free item. At this point I became very upset because he was basically accusing me of cheating Baja Fresh out of revenue when, in fact, I had ordered several other entrees with my order. I told him that if I had been charged the incorrect amount, that was something he needed to take up with his cashier and not me, the customer. I then went on to say that embarrassing me and humiliating me in front of other people that were in the restaurant was extremely poor customer service and I couldn't believe a manager was acting this way. He then tried to apologize and say he was just bringing it to my attention, but what good did that do? Just make me feel embarrassed about using a coupon that they had sent me for my birthday! Happy birthday to me! I will be taking my business to another Baja Fresh. Yes, it's a further drive, but it's worth it not to give my business to a franchise that doesn't know the first thing about customer service. I like Baja Fresh way more than Chipotle because you submit your order and sit down, not doing it in real-time as at C's with 5 other people talking simultaneously. Also I like the chips and salsa that come with every order. This is a much more pleasant experience that the C alternative. read more

Baja fresh...it's my favorite "Mexican" restaurant becAuse I cannot eat spicy. I always get the steak Baja burrito and enjoy the fresh salsa bar. I love this spot because the staff is always friendly, I do not need to pay for every salsa cup I get and the food is delicious. I can eat here everyday if I had a choice.
