They refunded the $80 we paid them for the missed ride, but declined to reimburse the additional $80 we had to spend on replacement transportation as a direct result of their mistake. I understand that mistakes happen, but when a transportation company misses a confirmed pickup, especially an early-morning one where timing matters, I would expect them to cover the reasonable additional cost caused by the error. Disappointing experience overall. But to be honest, it is Mexico. This is somewhat common.

Our arrival transfer was as smooth as it could be, so we were very disappointed by what happened on the return trip to the airport: THERE WAS NO CAR SEAT PROVIDED. Because our baby's safety was our top priority, we had to borrow a car seat from the hotel. We then spent an extra 15-20 minutes while the driver tried to figure out how to install it correctly. After trying two different car seats and multiple installations, the seat still did not appear to be installed properly. This was especially surprising given all the positive reviews we had read before booking. When a family specifically requests a car seat, having one available and properly installed should be something they can rely on, especially for an infant. If you're traveling with a baby or young child, I would strongly recommend confirming and reconfirming with the company before BOTH your arrival and departure transfers that the requested car seat will actually be in the vehicle.

The price quoted from the airport to San Todos was $130 USD for a private sedan and $180 for a SUV. When I arrived, past the room with a million transportation vendors, outside the airport was Happy Tours in blue collared shirts waiting with my name printed exactly where the instructions had indicated. We took a large white shuttle to a separate parking area where we were dropped off for a sedan that was clean but not super new. I felt safe and comfortable getting to my destination. Both pesos and USD was accepted. When I asked for additional quotes, Isaac was polite and provided them. He even followed up each day that I had requested the quotes for despite not completing those trips. Overall, recommend them for his communication/customer service!
