Some of the cakes and brownies! And the bread shelves at the back of the cafe

The food selections is good, the pastries are (in general) really good. Love the cinnamon rolls!! The staff are ok, sometimes really nice, sometimes pretty average. The service is notoriously slow when they're busy, you can wait ages for a coffee and find its not hot enough which gets them down. The deli selection is good and usually similar every day, the salmon is nice and it all seems fresh. One thing I don't like is that the pastries are all out on a table and people go and help themselves (because the staff are always too busy) and let their kids touch the food. Its much nicer than some of the other cafe's on the street though and has a nice atmosphere and around the same price as the rest of them in the area.

Good lattes, incredible selection of prepared foods and pastries. I didn't have a chance to try any of the prepared foods, but I split a drop scone and an almond croissant with my sister. I usually don't go crazy for scones, but this one was wonderful. It's a busy spot where customers linger over their newspapers. The servers are efficient and pleasant.

Great bread and pastries, nice service, some hot food too to take away or eat in, a good local delicatessen.

Best lunch! Chicken pie and chick pea salad

The food was great! The only drawback is that it's a little small so it can be a challenge to find a place to sit. But that's London. Will def eat here again when I am in London.

Good baked goods and selection of fresh salads. Probably the best place for a quick lunch and tea in Maida Vale / Little Venice.

Overall very expensive and very poor service. It is a pity as it could be a great spot with better management.

Lovely place to spend an afternoon with a newspaper over the weekend. Make sure you try the octopus salad...

A very underwhelming experience. This was a highly rated coffee place near Portobello Road Market…read more I went there with my family members and we ordered two single shot espressos and one latte. The service was quick but lacklustre. The espresso drinks were not strong and tasted like they had been watered down. The latte was okay. Not very memorable but okay. However, what threw me off the most was the dirty saucer that was given to me along with the cup. There were old bits of coffee grounds on the saucer which stuck to my cup. It was kind of nasty and distracted me from enjoying the coffee. The baristas also seemed bored and distracted. One of them was sitting on the floor after he was done making my drink and he was just itching his hair. I was hoping he washed his hands before making my drink but I wouldn't count on it. My brother asked about their coffee deal, half off for a bag of coffee. They told him it was an old deal since COVID and they hadn't taken it off the board behind them. What a sad coffee place.

An independent coffee shop on Portobello Road. Quite nice with a warehouse chic to it. Definitely a recommendation for coffee aficionados!
