I do love this place. My son has been going here for 7 years and I feel like they always have him in their best interest. They never recommend useless procedures and make him feel safe. My only negative is that I was waIting for a very long time for the doctor to come and see us. We had been done with cleaning for a while and we just watched as other families came and went. This us the second time we had an amazing appointment with Baker Pediatric Dental Care. We just moved to the area in March and my 6 yr old Trew Grace had a baby tooth that was not budging. We called and they took us the very next day. The team and office was fast, efficient kind and clean. Fast forward to her bery first cleaning and at the new location WOW!! Same amazing service, same efficiency but in a large super inviting environment a kids dental paradise. My daughter was so excited to see her favorite game Ms. Pac Man lol like at Chuckee Cheese she seriously had a great time after her cleaning. She truly enjoyed the decor within the dental areas and the TV's around showing Angry Birds. Definitely a 10/10 experience at both locations. We selected this office due to its high reviews and proximity, but our experience did not meet basic expectations for a pediatric cleaning. At the first visit, three of my children were seen. The cleanings were completed very quickly and no flossing was performed. When I asked, I was told flossing is not always done if a scaler is used. After we got home, I was still able to remove visible debris from a tooth, which raised concerns about the quality of the cleaning. I contacted the office and was offered a complimentary re-cleaning with the owner/dentist, so I rearranged my schedule to return. However, we were again seen by the same hygienist and were never evaluated by the owner/dentist as promised. Flossing was still not done despite a note in the chart requesting it. I also noticed a sign offering raffle entry for Yelp reviews, which made the rating less meaningful. Overall, I appreciate the offer to redo the cleaning, but because the original concerns were not resolved, this was ultimately a disappointing experience. read more

And again the honesty is so much appreciated, unlike other dentist where they told us my child had multiple cavities when in fact she only had one. We had originally found this office a few years ago and they were great. We've been going to Dr. Baker's wife's office for the past year and she is amazing and her staff is amazing. We moved back to Murietta and now we're back at Dr. Baker's office and I'll tell you it's even better than ever. The new office is beautiful. The staff is all so kind and of course the star of the show is Dr. Baker. He still is just a big tall ball of light who just adores kids and takes care of them so well. Honestly, I think he's a really great person for accepting medi-cal when a lot of dentists do not and you can genuinely tell that he loves these children that he's taking care of and he's always considering their best interest in mind. I absolutely cannot say enough fabulous things about Baker pediatrics. Prior to finding them we had to take our kids unfortunately, when they were younger to Western Dental and the treatment was nothing like what we get in the quality of care and most importantly; the way the kids feel about going to the dentist. All the staff is fabulous as well and I think that's just a reflection of who he is as a person because he leads them to be great. If you haven't tried this place for your kids you definitely should because there's nothing like it available and I have five children so I definitely have a lot of experience as far as dentistry goes. We were directed to Baker Pediatric Dental Care for our son. Upon arrival, we were delighted to discover arcade games on the left, which created a friendly environment for young children. The front desk staff was helpful and courteous. When my son was called in, Ms. Bernice, a wonderful young dental assistant, was extremely attentive to his needs. As he is on the autism spectrum, he responded well to her, showing no signs of distress during the x-ray and teeth cleaning. Afterwards, Dr. O came in to examine my son. She interacted with him in a kind manner, and he stayed calm throughout the examination. Dr. O was a thoughtful dentist who carefully discussed our proposed dental treatment plan and gave us a referral for the next steps. We greatly valued her efficiency and clear communication. The 1st impression was great and the receptionist at the front desk very nice. The two dental assistants were not so great. Stay away! When I made the appointment for my son, they never mentioned they had moved. Got to the new location, staff were very nice. Appointment was in early May for an abscess tooth. Doctor saw my son, prescribed antibiotics and said he would be fine until end of June! JUNE! It didn't sit well with me so I called around and I was able to get him seen somewhere else for a consult and they extracted that tooth that same day. This place does not care about the patients, it's a zoo in there. Your child is just a number to them $$$. Also, doctor is not personable and dry. read more
