Nice selection of above ground pools and hot tubs, saunas, and exercise equipment. They have less different brands than Johnson, but what they do have are at better prices, and a little bit lower delivery and set up charges. read more

Joe and Mike are the best. They have outstanding customer service. They also have an elite delivery team that is in and out. Baker does very good work and have very competitive prices. Do not advocate visiting this business. I recently visited this location to pickup some replacement items for my spa. My experience was a strike out. First strike: The product I bought was found later that day from an online distributor for 62% less. I deemed this at first to be no big deal, and win for my wallet, and decided to just take the items back (Note: all in 100% untouched/unopened, condition). Until I tried to return the items... Strike two: I was greeted with a scoffing "hello" after who I presume to be the owner viewed me holding some return items in a bag. He said "Returns? Ha, What's up with that"? I explained that I simply wanted to return items because I found them online much cheaper. This was clearly not the answer this gentleman wanted to hear and he followed up with "All that online stuff will be junk, the filters are junk, the parts are less than my cost. There is no way you are getting anything of quality at the prices you paid" rather abrasively. He may be right, but this is my decision. He was clearly not willing to have a conversation nor just accept the return (like any other retail location), instead it was as if he was so offended that someone wanted to save 62% of their hard-earned money because and online competitor is cheaper. BTW sir, this is 2019 and eCommerce is here to stay. Then came strike three, "Look at your receipt - All sales are final". I will say the receipt does have this printed which will only be seen after purchase and I didn't look initially but come on, really?, the sales associate never mentioned this when I bought the items and who looks on a receipt for all sales final at this type of store. Be aware of this before you make any purchases from this location. All sales are final on items that were (not removed from original packaging and even returned in less than 24 hours)? This is not a second-hand store nor were item purchased off a clearance rack. I do have to add that he did accept the return but made it a point to add in this comment "Just this one time and I shouldn't, look again at your receipt - All sales final. Where's your credit card for this?" In summary: 1. Price is significantly marked up at this store vs. online distribution 2. Returns are not welcome, at least not kindly - all sales are final. This is printed on the receipt 3. The owner/sales associate does not want to hear that the items can and may be found cheaper online, and will certainly tell you about it vs. taking the time to calmly and non-abrasively educate on the pros/cons of brands/parts and what the options are 4. Consumer kindness needs improvement In all honesty, I can easily live with price. It is a local business that needs to satisfy margins, keep the lights on, etc. I get it. But, I also need to satisfy my family margins and spend and take pride in shopping around to find what I think is best for me. I can even live with all sales final if that is what this establishment truly feels they need to do. But, the owner/sales associate definitely needs to rethink consumer engagement and human-to-human conversation etiquette. read more

I live in Oak Creek and have gone to this place three times to make purchases. Every time I've walked though the door I'm not greeted, no one has ever knowledge me as a customer. The one time I have spoken too, the guy talked diwn to me like I was a dumbass. It's okay because every times I have gone else where and ended up with a nicer product and better service. read more

Very impressed with Baker Pool!! We were looking for a hot tub, and can tell you no place compares to Baker Pool! Purchasing the spa was a great experience; I didn't feel pressured or rushed to buy. The team that delivered the hot tub were amazing. Myself being very new to hot tubs, the next day after we put water in the spa, I still had so many questions regarding use and operation. Baker pool came out and explained everything to me. I had so many questions and they didn't rush me through any of it. Really dedicated time to make sure I felt comfortable. Purchased a treadmill from them several years ago to the tune of $2800 and had it delivered. Worked for several weeks then started getting an error code and would work only sporadically. Called them and the guy they sent looked at it for several minutes, turned it off and on and pronounced it fixed. Next day same problem. Called them back and they said they would need to charge me (I think it was $100 or $150) for a service call since they were just out and fixed it. This despite it having a 1 year warranty. Umm no, you never fixed it. So my $2800 treadmill was sitting around as a worthless piece of junk until I fixed it myself recently - no thanks to Baker Pool & Fitness which refused to honor the warranty. read more

These guys are by far the most worthless of the pool suppliers in the area. I was looking for a gasket for my sand filter multi port head and he spoke to me like I didn't know what I was doing. I even explained that the manufactured gave me the part number that i need to fix my issue. this was the third time in my history with these guys and each was below average. Stay away! read more

I have been going to Baker Pool and Fitness for about 5 years for my swimming pool needs. They are always helpful. If I'm having issues with water, they test it and tell me exactly what I need. We purchased a hot tub w/cover last year from Baker Pool & Fitness. We told the owner that we do not use it during the winter months so he suggested their winterizing service. So we had Baker Pool & Fitness come out late fall to winterize our hot tub ($150) per the suggestion of the owner. When we opened our hot tub this spring, to our surprise, it was COVERED IN MOLD (and ants)!!!!!! It's absolutely disgusting!!! I called Baker Pool & Fitness and spoke with the owner, explaining to him the condition of our hot tub after his business winterized it. He started telling me how to clean it so I promptly asked if his business was going to come out and fix this problem. He laughed and said no (only if I paid he to). He said his business has nothing to do with the condition of my hot tub after they winterize it?! He said we probably need a new cover, that it must be old or of poor quality...no, it's under a year old and why would you sell me something that is of poor quality?! The owner also proceeded to tell me doesn't recommend winterizing hot tubs because it could do more harm then good...then WHY did YOU recommend this service to me?!?! This hot tub was not an inexpensive purchase and now, because of a poorly done service, I have to worry about mold and potentially worse! Such a disappointment and poor customer service to place full blame on the customer and not take any accountability for this. Staff has always been really nice and easy-going. They're always willing to help people out. They have a great selection of outdoor pools and hot tubs (even saw a super large inflatable one! pretty exciting if you can't commit to a permanent pool in your yard and dont wanna brave the choppy lake water in the summer). Found out recently that they have financing, too, which helps if you're on a budget and quick set-up. Their website's been helpful and I like that they're small, local business, too. : ) read more

I recently purchased a Spirit XT685 treadmill (highly recommended on Runners World forum). Purchasing experience was low pressure and professional. Although the treadmill was not in stock when I ordered it on a Saturday, it was quickly delivered five days later. The two men that delivered it took care not to damage our walls and floors as they snaked it down to our basement. The machine is heavy - 270 pounds. They did a quick job assembling it and took the time to answer all our questions. They cleaned up all the packaging materials and also removed our old treadmill.
