This place is…read moresuch a fun and unique spot, especially if you enjoy shopping, art, and discovering local businesses. The whole area has a cool, laid back vibe that feels different from your typical shopping center. There are lots of unique shops to browse, along with great food and drink options like Seabirds, Stella Jean's, and other local favorites. Since it's an outdoor shopping center, we got to enjoy the beautiful California sunshine while walking around. One of my favorite parts was all of the art installations scattered throughout the property. They add so much character to the space and make it feel creative and fun. Plus, there are plenty of Instagram worthy spots if you love taking photos. We spent some time checking out the different shops and ended up stopping by Blends. The service there was excellent. The staff was friendly, helpful, and took the time to answer my questions without making me feel pressured to buy anything. I ended up finding a pair of Asics sneakers that I absolutely loved. The pricing was also surprisingly good, which made the purchase even better. Whether you're hanging out with friends, looking for unique stores, or exploring Orange County for the day, it's definitely worth a visit. I'll definitely be back!

We didn't make it into every store, (the japanese bakery line was so long), but just the grounds of this little outdoor mall itself was enough.

They used to take up the north section, and the main 3 rows was a CAMPtrain of cars. Now they moved to the back row and kept some of the north end. 1030, half the shops havent opened yet and already cars CAMPing for spots just destroys the whole chill vibe this place used to have. I really dont understand this valet, i literally could park it myself same distance next row over, and hes not like space saving parking the cars like ud see at high end restaurants with small lots so.....besides milking a frustrating situation, have a fun weekend! They could probably raise the price to like $20 and people would still be forced to cough up to park, theres just not enough spots and not even half the potential shops are even running. It would make sense if the camp bought like an off site additional lot for overflow and the valet would bring your car to the kiosk. Still sad the blackwater bakery snuffed out, i liked their very rounded top loaves. But now theres a new bakery? whys it named 1954 bakery & cafe? it wasnt here in 1954 for sure. oh yay its 11, ima go get me brunch now. toodaloo!

I recently came here for a Lunar New Year event, so it looked really packed because of the event itself. But it was spacious and parking was pretty decent. Lots of uncovered parking outside. It will get hot if it's a sunny day, and if you're walking further away from the parking lot, prepare for a warmer walk. With a few good dining options inside, I think that probably would make it worthy of a return visit to The District.

Several mins later, as I was moving into a parking spot, another driver cut me off, honked at me, and gave me a contemptuous hand signal. 2024: tl,dr: Beautiful plaza. Beware the traffic. Likes: + Variety of restaurants and shops. + Pleasant promenade between shops and restaurants. Appreciation: I used to complain about the lack of entrances/exits into this parking lot. Over the years, thankfully they have added one to slightly streamline outgoing traffic. In recent years they've added an exit leading into alley that leads out onto Barranca Pkwy. Non-likes: - Bad traffic. Many entitled drivers cut the wait at the stop intersections. Drive slowly and be careful. - Sometimes pedestrians cross without looking both ways first.
