When presented with the "outstanding" costs ( which they agreed to) over a phone call - what they did, instead was take a copy of the site we designed and built and took it to another server to avoid paying "the outstanding invoices" Make sure you get work "done" before paying these people. I do not like getting stiffed and that's exactly what they did ) even though I gave them a chance and opportunity to work things out.

I gave him the details, the contractors name to help him remember. In his yelp communication to me, he accused me of trying to ruin a small business. He said that if there was a problem, he would try to resolve. I asked for my money back as we had to go with tile. This was months ago and I have copies of all communications. He never responded of course and I never got my money back. Ironically, the post from "Lorenzo" that appeared to be from a "customer" is no longer posted as a review after I posted how strange it was that the owner and customer's name are the same. Then I read his comment to my review. He personally came out here and recommended the varnish to use. It was some sort of Marine Varnish oil that he told us to use and we used a licensed finishing contractor to do all the work. Lorenzo directed us to Genahl Lumber to get it and it was specifically made for IPE. We sanded and reapplied several times with his recommended varnish product. A licensed wood refinishing contractor sanded off all the old finish per Lorenzo's instructions even following his instructions as to the grit of the sandpaper (i think 150 but am not sure) I have copies of all correspondence with Lorenzo and I would be happy to provide these to anyone considering using this company. You should also call Snyder & Associates in Orange, CA who will attest to how everything I am saying is true and how Eco Arbor stopped returning calls We can also provide testimonials and invoices regarding the wood finishing contractor that will show that we did much more than "lift a finger". We spent countless hours and dollars following Lorenzo's instructions to no avail.

Within about two minutes of talking with the owner, Adam Calabrese, I knew I wanted Unlimited Tile…read more& Stone to fabricate and install our kitchen quartzite (Mont Blanc Satin) countertops. I just hoped we could afford to go with him, and the happy news was yes!!! Adam's quote was very reasonable and our money well spent. The fabricator we had been planning to go with for months wasn't responsive enough to make us feel comfortable that the work would get done in time, so we asked Arizona Tile for recommendations and the staff member suggested Unlimited Tile & Stone. Thank you so much, Arizona Tile! Adam is professional, responsible, skilled, responsive, reliable, and super easy to work with. Additionally, he came to our rescue when the concrete bathroom countertops we ordered from out of state arrived in a color that was off from what we were expecting. Adam was already squeezing us in for our kitchen job and then made it happen at close to the last minute to fabricate our master bathroom countertop from our leftover slab and our second bathroom countertop from a lovely piece of remnant marble he had in his yard. We were up against a deadline to get moved back into our condo and Adam wanted to be of help however he could. He kept us informed every step of the way, listening carefully to our preferences in the templating/design and advising us on the optimal use of our slabs. Adam's installers were very kind and did gorgeous work. We could not be happier or recommend Adam more highly. As is common knowledge, most remodels are very stressful, but Adam and his crew brought much needed calm and peace of mind to our project, which involved calling quite a few audibles along the way. Many thanks to Adam and crew for all their hard work and commitment to a top-quality experience! We are enjoying our countertops to infinity and beyond!

my contractor brother-in-law's motto could be "well begun's the most work you can hope for outta me…read more..." so, now that we've hired a guy to finish one more of the many, many construction/remodeling projects he started, got paid for but never, ever got around to actually finishing (in this particular case patching and painting an exterior wall he tore up trying to resolve a plumbing issue which also required hiring a plumber to fix), i found myself trucking out to SAN MARCOS for mortar and stucco. any task requiring tools other than a spatula or kitchen knife is out of my comfort zone and these guys were very, very helpful mostly in a bemused sort of way -- not that i blame them as clueless as i am it's reasonable they found my feeble attempts at having anything to do with a construction project amusing. the good news is now, thanks to a little help from FREE BUILDERS SUPPLY and our very handy handyman, five years after the demo portion of the assault on the wall, our home is whole again.

Unfortunately, both Lowes and Home Depot were out at most of the stores in San Diego. I called around and found it at Free Builders. When I arrived I went straight to the counter and asked for the product. The less than friendly worker started to write up a ticket for the purchase. Now standard concrete is about $4.00 a bag and this stuff runs about $14.00 but it's better for what I was using it for and I didn't need much so worth the extra cost. But I noticed he wrote about $30.00 on his little ticket for one bag of the stuff. I asked if that was what they were charging and when he confirmed it I said "Thanks Anyway" and walked out. As I leaving the parking lot, another guy came out and said...."Oooops it's $21.00 a bag. We made a mistake" I kept driving. Now I'm a reasonable woman and I understand that a mom and pop shop does not get the same discounts as the big box stores so I expect to pay a bit more. But not double! Maybe it was an innocent mistake. Or maybe they saw a woman walk through the door in a dress and flip-flops asking for one bag of concrete and assumed that she just "don't know shit" about the cost of building materials. You decide. As for me, I don't do business with scammers.
