I recently hired Green Turf Pro to install a new cement patio floor and some astroturf in my backyard.  My yard was previously in very bad shape with weeds and gopher activity. Green Turf was referred to me by my neighbor.  He and I have worked together on other various yard improvement plans and since he carefully looks into company's he hires, I took advantage of his recommendation.  The workers are their employees, they do not outsource. When we first started planning, I wasn't sure how I wanted to proceed regarding what type of a patio I wanted and how I wanted the turf to be placed.  Jose worked with me and gave me some good ideas.  There was no rush or pressure and we took our time to make sure the plans were to my liking. When they started the job, the workers arrived on time everyday and they clearly knew what they were doing.  Since I am retired, I watched a lot.  They worked hard even though the days were quite warm, and yes, I gave them water and Gatorade. As they did the job, there were a few details I questioned about and I requested adjustments.  They handled these easily and quickly. When they were about finished, they handled the clean-up very well and even took care of a few things that were not planned. The whole job took about 10 days to complete.  During a final inspection, there were a couple more adjustments needed so they handled those as well. I am very satisfied with the patio floor as well as the astroturf. I will use Green Turf for my future needs. read more

Buyer beware: $22k for a yard that looks great but floods my house. GTP's installation caused water to back up into my fireplace, and they've declined to take responsibility, citing 'Mother Nature.' Now I'm stuck--I can't use a different contractor to fix the drainage without voiding the turf warranty, and their own quote for a fix offers no protections. Love the grass, but the lack of support and technical foresight on drainage has been a nightmare. read more

I'm keeping my original 5-star rating out of respect for the crew who worked incredibly hard and for the excellent customer service I received from Angie, as these are the things most customers should care about. That said, I do feel it's important to share an update for the sake of transparency. After I posted my original review, some final seam repairs were still outstanding. Unfortunately, it took over seven months to finally get those finishing touches completed. I'm not sure what happened, but Lou--who was initially so helpful--seemed to drop the ball after my original review was posted. Despite several follow-ups, the issue lingered far too long. It wasn't until I started working with Angie that things turned around. She had the repairs completed within a week of getting involved. Her responsiveness and commitment to getting things resolved were exactly what I had hoped for from the start. She let me know that she handles the repairs, something I wish Lou had told me from the beginning. In short: In my experience, Lou seems to sell you on the project, but Angie will be the one to make sure it actually gets done to your satisfaction. We used Green Turf Pro in 2018 and were very impressed. Wanted to replace and add more turf; and got at least 6 bids. Green Turf Pro was the lowest again (by quite a bit). They work hard to be sure installation goes well & looks good. They came back to help repair some items as well. Only complaint is that the turf itself burned - and our old turf didn't. Including at 8 in the morning! Apparently turf made now looks better, but isn't as durable (all around, not just the one we had installed). So then we had to really focus on window coverings so reflection wouldn't keep burning the turf. We were very appreciative that Green Turf Pro repaired the burned areas using the extra turf we had at no additional charge. read more

We wanted to pave an area of our backyard that had long been neglected. We were tired of the mud/dirt and weeds and contacted several companies for quotes. After meeting with and receiving quotes we decided to go with Green Turf Pro because of their quick communication, great reviews, personable representatives, and extremely reasonable and competitive price that no one could match. We also appreciated that Lou who is the Owner was the one who came to give us our quote and also our PM through the project. He was not pushy and was extremely quick and efficient when he came out to give us the estimate. He didn't waste hours of our time trying to convince us why we should choose their company. The project started the next week and we were immediately impressed by the efficiency of the team. They showed up and got right to work. All employees were clearly employed directly by Green Turf Pro as they all wore branded gear and drove branded trucks. We've had issues with contractors in the past claiming to have their own crew only to find out that they subcontracted out the work as it was getting started. That definitely wasn't the case here. The crew was mindful of our property and did everything they said they would do. The project would have been done sooner but there was a miscommunication on the color of the border pavers. A quick call to Lou where we explained that we weren't happy with the color and it was immediately resolved the next day. Once everything was said and done, they cleaned up and put everything back how they found it. That included trimming our wooden gate to smoothly go over the new pavers to re-laying the pre-existing turf that was pulled back to complete the work. Once the crew left, Lou came back to do a final walk through with us and later Angie called to confirm again that everything was to our liking and that no other work orders needed to be submitted. Where do I start? Had many contractors come out for bids for our backyard and side yard remodel. Some contractors that out were either clueless, shady, or just didn't click with us. Called Green Turf Pro (GTP) and Jonathan was quick to come out for our initial consultation. What a great dude. Funny, friendly, easy going, and very knowledgeable. He really knew his stuff. I had a few other contractors come out the same day and no one stood out as much as Jonathan. Perfect sales guy that really listened and offered great solutions/options. We narrowed it down between GTP and another company and it came down to GTP's flexibility, pricing, and fantastic communication. Flexibility was a huge factor for us as we needed a team that can split demo and base/turf install on two visits. Most companies couldn't do this based on how they paid their laborers. I'm guess most were not directly employed by companies and made sense to have their work completed in one day. GTP had their massive team of workers that were really great. GTP's team was tidy, polite, and extremely hard workers. You can tell they were absolutely great at what they did and took pride in their work. You should watch them install the base for turf. Like a well oiled machine. One man working the bobcat with the base and you had a line of 3-4 wheel barrels ready to take the base and deliver it to where they needed to. Then the turf going down and the base was compacted was so fast. They asked questions when they were not sure what the "game plan" was and offered great solutions. So fun watching the team knock it all out. There was this one gentleman, Eduen that really stood out for his hard work. After demo, and it was a lot of concrete, stone, dirt, and more on the first day they hauled away as much as they could. Next day, early morning Eduen was loading all the remaining concrete into the trailer (it was completely full after he was complete) all by himself. Finished off the hard morning by cleaning the driveway, again, all by himself. Holy cow! This guy is amazing. Then there's Angie. She ran everything behind the scenes. She sealed the deal with us choosing GTP after our first phone call as she was trying to source different material that we wanted for stepping stones. Angie was able to be super communicative and was able to follow up with any questions or concerns that I may have. I can admit, I can be needy, but Angie handled me just right! What a gem for GTP!! Jonathan, Angie, the rest of the team are fantastic people doing fantastic things. Look no further if you're looking for someone to help transform your vision into reality and get GTP out there.
