The service here is extremely horrible, their drive thru is the slowest I've ever seen. It has always been this way, even before Covid-19. I ordered food through the app, received it 30 minutes after my pick up time, and my food was cold, and the order was wrong. Bakers has some good food but they need to work on their customer service. Bakers is not only a local favorite but this location specifically is amazing in its own unique way. Everyone is very pleasant and attentive, the food is always hot and just perfect. I came through the drive through with my mom for dinner and we usually know what we want but we were craving something different, that seemed to be a problem for the drive through employee (Angel) is her name she was rude and had no patience I asked a question about one of their items on the menu and she answered with a high-pitched tone and I told her I'm sorry I don't mean to frustrate you however we're not sure we want to add something else when I got to the drive-through window I said thank you she has been my change and closes the window she was probably mad because I asked her for her name. My second visit to the Baker's franchise was a moderate success. I ordered the double baker papa meal. It's a double cheeseburger, large fries and a large drink. I decided to forgo the soda and drink a bottled water instead. The burger was good but the fries were sub-par. It was a mix of wilted and fresh fries...an agony and ecstasy of sorts. I would've given this place an extra star if the fries came out fresh. But that was only slightly my fault; I forgot to ask for "no salt" fries. Lived in southern California most of my life, yet I've never had this little slice of the Inland Empire. And when the Dodgers' Ricky Nolasco mentioned in a tweet preferring Baker's to In-N-Out, and seeing their restaurants all over the 10, I had to check it out. So yeah, it's pretty good. Not better than INOB, but good. Their burger reminds me of a Del Taco burger. Lettuce, tomato, thousand island, etc. Can't complain about their spicy habañero ketchup either! Fries were a little on the bland side, but the spicy ketchup takes care of that. We came back the next day and I tried their chicken, which was a little disappointing. Dry, just way too dry. Overall, not bad. Don't know that I'd specifically seek one out unless I was mad craving it. I have to agree with all the positive comments about the Bakers chain. I grew up in Beaumont and Bakers was a staple. Of course "IN N OUT " is a classic, but Bakers definitely stands right there next to them in the burger realm. Dont get me wrong, im not bangin on "I.N.O" , just boosting Bakers burgers into great burger company. The catch here is that BAKERS are form my understanding, only in the Inland Empire. For those unfamiliar, that means Riverside and San Bernardino COunty. So for those of you form LA, OC, and anywhere WEST of the I.E. , give Bakers a shot on your drive on the 10fwy on your way to Palm Springs or further east. Baker's has always had good food, and this recent trip back to Baker's yesterday continues that tradition. The Double Baker burger is more similar to an In-N-Out style of burger than a McDonald's or Burger King, so the quality is pretty high overall. If you enjoy In-N-Out then you will enjoy the burgers here. The fries are hit and miss, occasionally being good and other times being cold and soggy. As for the mexican food Baker's offers, it is pretty good as well. Taco Tuesday is always a great deal, and the combination burritos taste great but are sometimes made small and are a bit overpriced. OK so the reason I'm leaving such a good review is because tonight me and my girlfriend went and had an $18 order and wait in the drive-through and a young man with brown hair that was at the register paid for my meal because my card kept declining I've come to this Baker several times in the past and they always have really great customer service because this was above and beyond I couldn't believe that anyone would ever do something like this I wish I would've gotten his name but by the time I had realize what happened I was already on my way out. While we where there 10/19 we left our stoller, I've been trying to get ahold of anyone at this place via phone and no one ever seems to answer!! It's 10/22 and phone just keeps ringing. The burgers had the tiniest piece of meat I have ever seen. I ordered a cherry coke and it was horrid. I later found out after reading my receipt that it was a coke with a shot of cherry. Had I known that prior I would not have even bothered to order a coke. The fries were tasteless and as well as the taco . My whole meal went directly into the trash. We stopped here on the way to a short weekend trip. We ordered 4 chicken sandwich meals. There was nothing special about the chicken sandwich or soggy fries. Food was bland,fries had no salt and weren't raunchy at all. But it was ridiculously busy I was looking around trying to see what people were ordering. Food was a 3.
