This is a hard review for me to make I don't like to give a bad review I want to say that the food is good, quality was good it was attractive had bright colors I didn't know what everything was but it tasted good really fills you up. Where I had an issue I would have to say is the Service I came here twice this week , once on a Monday and Mondays salad was so good I went back Tuesday to order it again on Monday, I ordered this chopped salad and it was fantastic, not to mention, it had a really nice cleansing effect on me later lol, so I went back Tuesday. This place is across town. It's not in my backyard. I went in a man that was there the day before helped me. I think he was the manager or maybe the owner the place is dead even when I was there Monday at lunchtime there was one person eating and that was it. I went back Tuesday at lunchtime one person eating nobody else 10 tables. one guy having lunch so I walk up to the counter the counter person was pleasant dress nice clean, nice smile I said I was here yesterday he saw me I said I had that chop salad it was fantastic I want to order it again but I don't see it all of a sudden he says yeah we took that off the menu this morning we're going to take it off for the summer and will put it back up at the end of summer I'm like you're kidding I drove all the way over here for that salad was so good.... so I'm looking at the menu and there's a lot of different things and I'm like well what's good what's like it....he says it's one of a kind nothings really like it that's a bad answer I say what about that Buddha bowl is that good as well? I was absolutely devastated when Native Foods started closing its restaurants. Now with only two employee-owned cafés remaining, I was so excited to visit the Palm Springs location! Native Foods has created meal you can feel good about without sacrificing flavor or texture. While everything on the menu is delicious, the Almost Famous Bowl, Bistro Steak Sandwich, and Gastropub Burger are definitely my favorites, especially when paired with the seasoned fries. The Peanut Butter Parfait is so rich and sweet, perfectly complimenting the savoriness of the appetizers and meals. So happy to find a Native Foods location out here! I've only been to the one in San Diego (now closed) so this was a happy find. My partner and I split a regular sized chicken tenders for an appetizer. He got the BBQ brisket burger with a side of lemon dill potato salad. I got the almost famous bowl which was chicken tenders on top of mashed potatoes with gravy, cheese and corn. On second thought, I should've got something else since we had chicken tenders for an appetizer but who doesn't love fried chicken. The chicken tenders had perfect breading and perfectly fried. The mashed potatoes got a little salty midway through. I had a bite of the BBQ burger and it was fantastic and so full of flavor. Order at the counter and sit at a table. I went at 3pm so it wasn't super busy. They brought the food out to my table along with cloth napkin-wrapped utensils. I wish there were more locations so I can come here more easily! read more

I ordered the Chicken Bacon Avocado Sandwich meal, with the watermelon Fresca drink so good. The flavors on this Sandwich had me going back for more, bite after bite. I have been a loyal customer of Native Foods for quite some time. I work as a nurse in the area, and this location has been one of my regular lunch spots because I enjoy the food and convenience. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was extremely disappointing. I placed my order over the phone because the ordering system was down. Since I had a $10 reward on my account, I planned to let the staff know when I arrived to pick up my order. When I got there, I informed Sean that I wanted to use my $10 reward. He told me I couldn't because of their new system and that I should have mentioned it when I placed the order over the phone. At no point during the phone call was I told that rewards had to be applied before the order was entered. Had someone explained that, I would have gladly mentioned it. What upset me most wasn't the policy--it was Sean's attitude. Rather than trying to help or offering any solution, he was dismissive and rude. As a customer, I felt like my concern didn't matter. Good customer service means explaining policies respectfully and looking for ways to help, especially when the customer had no way of knowing about a new procedure. As someone who works in healthcare, I understand how stressful busy days can be, and I always try to treat people with kindness and respect. That's why this interaction was so disappointing. I left without my order because of how I was treated, not because of the $10 reward. I hope management reviews how situations like this are handled. A little communication and courtesy would have made all the difference. read more

Native Foods is a much improved version even without customization. There is a huge menu so there's something for everyone. There are plenty of protein packed options too on the menu, but we opted for a lighter lunch this time. The two hot salad dishes I tried were great. It the perfect wholesome lunch-- full of flavor and warming spices. The sweet potato salad tasted like Christmas in my mouth, and the cauliflower shawarma blew my mind with its garlicky profile.
