I normally love this restaurant but today I was surprised by Matt's sarcastic and rude tone. He completely rushed me the whole order.

Ordered an egg taco yesterday morning and noticed the cheese was covered in white mold, and even a bit of green. I picked out what I could and still ate the thing, still got diarrhea, stomach cramps. I have gone to Baker's reliably since the 90s. Now I don't know if I ever will again. Is this location a franchise? I used to love Baker's. read more

Went through the drive thru this morning and got the most disgusting fries I've ever had at a fast food restaurant. They were hot (hence 2 stars instead of 1) but they tasted like old disgusting oil, like the oil hadn't been changed for two weeks. I could even smell the rancid old food from the fryer. I had this same issue several weeks ago and complained to the manager on duty but clearly they have not fixed the problem. I won't be back anytime soon. read more

Been going here past 30 years. Whoever thought raising prices while making portions smaller needs to go, whether manager for profit stretch or family trying to justify paying a "living wage". Either way Bakers used to be the go to, the spot, OG place for a decent price meal over Del and Taco bell. But its trash now, employees look like they just wanna go home who dont even remember the fam vibe that was, who vibe has changed. I only go if I have to now. Paid $17 for a shake and a GB burrito that looked from the $2 menu at Del. Do better, you used to be a staple for Banning and Beaumont and those who come back to their hometown. read more

I don't even want to leave any stars. This establishment is trash now. Customer service is horrible , the food is horrible. The burritos are as thin as paper, fries are always soggy. I love eating tacos at Baker's on Taco Tuesday since I was a kid, visited the location since I attended elementary school.

I came here to get some lunch for me and my kids after school .after we order and come to window to pay the guy says sorry we don't have change for 100$, my total was 35$ I tell him I have no other form of payment he asks the manager and she says oh you can go get change and will hold your food! Are you serious you guys don't have change why the hell are you guys operating then?? This will be the last time I come here because honestly if you can't accommodate cash customers then I won't be returning. read more

Horrible service by Travis and Hope. I ordered food and they took my money And refused to give me my food. Took them 20 minutes to refund me back. I've been coming to this Bakers for over 20 years and the way it is now is so DISAPPOINTING!!! The service is horrible and they always get your order wrong....I ordered the twin kitchen special.... And they put a half of patty on the burger!!! A half!!! I couldn't make that up. And the manager's attitude was so ugly...she act like it was my fault... unbelievable how disgusting the taco were. we went for taco Tuesday today. Unbelievable. The tomatoes did not even taste like tomatoes. They skimped out on the cheese , no lettuce and hardly any meat. The meat taste so bad. It was not like I've had bakers before there was even one taco that didn't even have seasoning it seemed it was like way lighter meat, color than the others and all we order was 10 tacos. I guess it's my fault. I should've known better when we drove through. We thought the place was closed there was nobody in the parking lot one car one vehicle in front we actually pulled up thinking was this place closed down to surprise someone said could they help us? I will never ever go here again. The food was disgusting the tacos how sad... after eating my stomach is now so upset .. I will waist my money and throw up the food .. another note hot sauce packs tasted like vinegar .. I don't know if it's me but man, I can really eat some tacos from different places and they are decent but maybe I'm just comparing them to Del taco in Barstow unbelievable tacos too bad. This place is horrible. All the food portions are so small. My fry box was half filled up and they told me that they weigh their fries. Seriously?! Fill the thing up! Tiny patties on the burgers. Definitely my first and last time at this place. Don't even get what you pay for. Go next door to McDonald's, at least the portions are much better. read more

Baker's is our go to, this particular location is very busy but seems to run efficiently so kudos to management! I've worked in operations and can tell when employees are well trained and know exactly what their role is during a busy time. I had been to this location in the past and can tell there has been a positive change in management over the last year or so. Lately, whether I go through the drive-thru or dine in, our food is always fresh and service friendly. I just wish there were locations closer to the south of Riverside county, maybe a location in Perris or Menifee will happen in the future. read more

Not gonna' lie. I love Baker's! I wish there was one closer to where I live, but any time I pass one, I try to stop and grab a bite to eat. Their twin kitchen is excellent. I have never had anything I didn't like at Baker's. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, all of their menu items are good eating. The shredded texas taco is one of my all time favorites if I'm gonna be eating fast food. Their bean and cheese burritos are delicious as well with the house made beans and shredded cheese. Their fries are excellent, especially with their signature habanero spicy ketchup. Bring a location to Yucca Valley Bakers! read more

If I could give a zero for customer service I would. Just ordered 3 meals inside the restaurant and our order was given to someone else. When the person who receive the wrong food went up to tell them the order was wrong they told they they messed up and to keep the order. It's unfortunate that this location has gone down hill so fast. I don't know what happened to all the management who used to run this location for years but they are missed. Food quality is not up to what it was a couple years ago this location in particular is dirty inside. This location has gone down hill really fast. There I has been an error with every order recently. My biggest complaint before, was that the line took forever. But the order was always spot on. Tonight, I ordered a shredded beef quesadilla and two ground beef burritos with no red sauce. When she read the order back to me, she said "chicken quesadilla" to which I corrected her. She then let me know that shredded beef has green sauce, which I acknowledged was ok. When I get home, I find a chicken quesadilla slathered with green sauce and two shredded beef burritos. I check the receipt and was so charged for what they handed me. Shredded beef costs more than ground beef. This place is just awful now. I'll drive farther to a location that can get it right. read more

Ordered a double baker combo large, when I went home I noticed large fry was half full.... HALF, went back to location to see if I can get my fries filled up to the large size, cashier told me they now weigh the fries and a large size is however many ounces their regulation is. If that's the case, why were the amount of fries the same amount as the regular size in a different container? I'm not going to pay for a large and only get a regular size fry in a large container. I've been going to bakers since I was a little kid, and quality has gone down from stale bread to lukewarm meat, but this takes the cake! ordered a taco burger "mama meal" i was asked what size i repeated "mama meal" again i was asked medium or large so at this point i asked what point is it to ask for a mama meal if it has nothing to do with the size ? i received a blank stare, i stated please give me whatever size the "mama meal" is, and by the way i have never been asked that question before, after waiting an excessive amount of time i received the bagged meal on the counter when i picked up the medium drink the lid was not secured to the cup, imagine that, and the drink went everywhere mostly all over the front of me. i stepped back and looked at the employees all of which clearly saw what had happened, imaging that, not one apology and i noticed one creep smiling, at that point the person i assume was the manager began to clean the counter and mouth off to me. with that i stated to her please dont let your mouth esclate the problem and i would like a refund, she went to the register and issued what i believed to be a refund although i could not be shure because while her mouth was running while she was clearly pissed about the drink all over the counter she just shoved a piece of paper at me not saying a word. bakers drive through you have no idea how just many customers you have lost through the complete incompetence of one location. read more

So, my coworker was raving and raving about this place and how I NEED to get their green burrito (green sauce bean & cheese burrito) and how it's SO much better than the one at Del Taco. I go there one night after work, and HOLY MOLY, the drive-thru line was INSANE! I think I was the 10th car in line. As I pull up I'm thinking, "do I try again or do I suck it up?" Anyway, I'm sitting in the drive-thru just inching along and there's a bunch of the homeless going up to people's windows asking for money. They probably make a killing just at the drive-thru. I eventually order the green burrito, I also order the cheeseburger & one regular taco. I get home, I try all the food and. It's fine. The burrito was good but I don't think I would sit in the drive-thru for over 15 minutes. I did like that they did have a large menu selection and a lot of vegetarian options (for when I want to be healthy). So I'll go back one day when it's hopefully not crazy busy. Finally got the $10 discount on the app and held it up for the drive through worker along with my card. He sure was quick to take my card but just assumed i was holding my phone in his face for fun and didn't apply the discount. Then after charging my card the full price he says "Oh you were supposed to give me the discount code first" as if i wasn't holding it in his face since i got to the window. He forgot my sauces that i asked for and told me to have a good day when i hadn't received my drinks still. Had to do his job and made sure i got my order. I wasted my $10 discount which you have to spend lots of money for and i wasted my time. Thanks for nothing bakers maybe make sure your workers have basic logic before hiring them next time.
