One of my favorite bakeries in Denver. They have pizza now I love how they post the next day's menu on their instagram stories too

This place has one of the yummiest deserts and breads I've ever had! It's not an exaggeration. I purchased 2 pieces and ate them immediately! The only reason why I'm not giving them 5 stars is because my husband and I ordered matcha drinks and although I said we wanted oat milk, for some odd reason our drinks tasted like watered matcha. Yuck! We drank it anyways. We didn't want to bother with the long line they had on a Saturday morning. Besides that, delicious bakery! Will be going back soon.

I genuinely do not understand how this place only has 4.6 stars. It is, hands down, the best bakery in Denver. I'm from Chicago and I've tried every other "top-rated" bakery here, and honestly... none of them even come close. The staff is amazing. I stopped in a few minutes before closing once and instead of being annoyed, they were super nice and even gave me a free coffee cake, which was delicious. The maple morning bun is my #1 ride or die. I'm not even a pastry girl, but this thing is unreal. It's not too heavy, not overly sweet, perfectly crunchy and flaky, soft in the middle, just absolute perfection. Everything I've tried has been amazing: maple morning bun, monkey bread, coffee cake, cinnamon rolls. I still think about those cinnamon rolls and really hope they bring them back soon! Fair warning though: you have to get there early. If you're not an early riser, find someone who is or you will miss out. Lucky for me, my husband wakes up wayyy earlier than any normal person and always gets me a treat!

Honestly I thought this would be another overrated tiktok spot. It was VERY good. The line was long when i arrived but I honestly didn't even seem to notice how long it took. The matcha was probably the best matcha I've had. They have great syrup options and the staff is very helpful with picking what to try! It's also a cute place, it's hard to sit because the line wraps around the seats but it's a good spot to grab and go where they're busy.

The cardamom bun was pretty sweet and flaky. I think it could have used more cardamom. Makes me wish I got the morning bun instead

Parking was fairly easy to find. We parked around the corner and walked here. It's kind of easy to miss unless you're paying attention. When you first walk in, you get cozy industrial vibes. But it works well for the space! There's definitely limited tables though so you have to be on the lookout while you're in line. The line was pretty long when we entered but they have a good system going to get you in and out the door. The employees were nice and patient while you contemplate which pastries you want. There were probably 7 kinds of pastries when we were there but it quickly went down to 3 by the time we got seated and started eating. The plain croissant wasn't bad. It was cold like it was in a fridge and not room temp like I expected but it was my favorite out of the three. The morning bun was super dense in the middle and we ended up not finishing that one cause it was just too dense to be enjoyable. The kouign aman wasn't bad but I think the shape of it didn't bake well. I was a little disappointed but 3 pastries and finishing salt for $18 was a good deal in my opinion! I do think they have good potential and maybe we went on a bad day. Maybe we should've taken them home to heat them up and that would've been better since it was a cold day. I would probably stop in again if I was in the area!

Have been coming here since it was just a door on 32nd with the classic 4 pastry cap. Amazing pastry, great bread (the focaccia is probably the best), and the excellent coffee every time. We haven't been back in a while due to the lines honestly, but we will circle back around. Ideal morning spot on weekends when you go to early, or to pick up goodies for the team mid week.

OMG. Fabulous pastries and bread. Got myself a morning bun and crumb cake. The morning bun was flaky and had great flavors of cinnamon and sugar. Loved it. The crumb cake had a huge layer of crumbs but the cake was just a tad dry. So many great choices I can't wait to come back!

After seeing all the reviews I HAD to try bakery four. Line was long on a Saturday morning but moved quickly. Plenty of tables inside and outside. I'm a visual person so seeing all the different pastries lined up with labels was great. I would rate the pastries a 4/5. They were good but didn't blow me away. We had the peach pop tart and goat cheese blueberry Danish. The Danish was very tart and I wish the flavors were balanced better. Overall, I would return to try there other pastries as there were plenty to pick from.

Busy spot for a very good reason! Sourdough based pastries are my favorite and these were so delicious. Staff is super friendly, the shop is cute, and they have great merch!

This is one of the many competing high-end bakeries in Denver. It definitely needs to be on the top five list of places to visit if you're on a bakery tour. There are several amazing options here and you can't go wrong whether you get the French pastries or the sourdough breads. The baguettes are spot on and the Boulet are to die for. This place is such a gem and we're thankful to have.

Oh my goodness.... Everything is incredible. The chili verde danish and chocolate almond frangipane are to die for. Come spend your money here and support small!!!!

Been wanting to try bakery four and it didn't disappoint! My favorite was the morning bun. These treats are so delicious and didn't last long at our house

The Kougin Amann was great as was the pop tart. I didn't try a croissant because they looked overcooked- too brown and dry.

Of course, I had to replace it. The cupcake was absolutely delicious; moist, flavorful, and not overly sweet. I had it saved but couldn't quite remember why...until we turned the corner and saw a line out the door around noon on a Sunday. Normally that might be a dealbreaker, but once we saw the food coming out, we were all in, it looked way too good to pass up. The menu is stacked: everything from sweet pastries to savory sandwiches and even pizzas on what looked like fresh, fluffy focaccia. I went with the prosciutto sandwich (prosciutto, cheese, pesto on focaccia), and it was incredible--simple, fresh, and packed with flavor. My girlfriend had the ham sandwich on a baguette, which was just as good. We were also tempted by the turkey and some seasonal options, so we'll definitely be back to try more. We couldn't leave without grabbing a couple pastries. The almond croissant was a hit (my girlfriend saved it for the next morning and loved it), and the standout for me was the cinnamon white chocolate cookie--kind of like a snickerdoodle but with white chocolate chips. Easily a top tier cookie. Between the quality, variety, and how clearly everything is made with care, this place jumped straight to the top of my list. Worth the wait, worth the hype, and absolutely worth a return trip.

The croissants are incredibly flaky and buttery with the perfect ratio of ham and Swiss, the blueberry muffin was moist without being overly sweet, and the éclair disappeared embarrassingly fast. Good pizza making class for total beginners. Less so if you own a different pizza oven than theirs…read more Took the "Backyard Pizza Affair: Cooking at 900 Degrees" class. Honestly it was just okay for us. I'd say it's worth it if you're a complete beginner at pizza making, but here's the catch: in the class they use the mini Gozney ovens, and we have the full-size Gozney Dome. Practicing on a different oven than the one we'd actually be using at home was a bit off-putting, since so much of pizza making is dialing in your specific setup. That said, I still learned plenty that carried over! It's a 4-hour hands-on class, and you get to mix the dough, practice stretching, and launch your own pizza. The instructor, Gage, really knows his stuff and he was great at explaining the why behind each step, not just the how. I walked away with genuinely useful skills like freezing the dough and shaping technique. It's about $148 a person. The nice touches help. You get a pastry before and a cookie at lunch, plus a detailed recipe packet (dough variations, freezing, mixer methods, the works). And Rebel Bread is a working bakery, so it's a fun space to be in. My other note: the class runs long, and I wish it had been a bit shorter and tighter. For someone who's never made pizza before, I think it'd be worth it. For us, already set up with our own oven, it was a nice experience but not essential.
