I would like to go back and try the more traditional mochi with just black sesame or peanuts and sugar. The mochi ball with purple rice and taro also sounds interesting so go try this place and find what you like but avoid the cream cheese (LOL). They have a fresh durian mochi for you durian lovers. The ube tres leches was a little disappointing as there wasn't any tres leches cake at the bottom, just crumbly graham crackers resting below exquisite ube mousse. It could have been mislabeled, but it was essentially just ube mousse with crumbly graham crackers for texture. The staff were friendly and the store is so fun!

Both of them were excellent, and I felt they were priced appropriately at a dozen for $18. The Thai Tea seriously tasted like you were truly drinking a thai tea. We also shared one large classic chocolate chip cookies (so yummy!) The only thing we didn't understand is that we shared a Ube Tres Leches. I am not sure what was going on. Don't get me wrong, what we ate was very good; however, it was 100% not Tres Leches. It was an Ube Cream with some graham cracker crumble underneath. So, my assumption is that they must have just given us the wrong item. I would love to try the Tres Leches again in the future. Please support his lovely local business. It was a real treat!

Yesterday, I wanted to try some of their baked goods, including the palm sugar cake and cassava cake, but they were already sold out. I'd recommend coming earlier if you want the baked goods, as I stopped by around 7 PM on a Saturday and most of them were gone. Today, I came earlier and was able to grab their sampler, which included palm sugar, cassava, mung bean, taro, and pandan cakes. Everything was delicious and not overly sweet. My favorites were the palm sugar and pandan cakes. The Avocado Che was excellent. The avocado was incredibly creamy, and all of the jellies inside were delicious. I thought it would come topped with the green jelly pudding shown on the menu, which I assumed was pandan pudding, but mine didn't include it. I still really enjoyed it. The milk they use is so flavorful, and the drink itself isn't overly sweet. I also tried a few bites of my boyfriend's Thai Che. It was refreshing and tasty as well. One thing I liked is that you can customize the sweetness level and choose whether you want the ice mixed in or served on the side. The only downside is the size. The cups are smaller than what I've seen at other places. I believe they're around 12 ounces. The Thai Che was $7 and the Avocado Che was $8, which is typically what I pay elsewhere for a 16 ounce drink. I'd definitely keep coming back for the Avocado Che and the palm sugar and pandan cakes.
