Biónico platter (small)

Phoned in a last-minute order for a small biónico platter (with toppings on the side) after finding this spot on Yelp. Pickup was super easy--located in a strip mall with plenty of parking, which is always a huge plus in East LA! Service was friendly. I'll definitely be coming back to try more items from their menu. I've driven past this place so many times without noticing it, so I'm glad Yelp reviews helped it stand out.

Apassionada!!! SO FREAKEN GOOD

We just so happened to find this place open late!! we were in desperate need of a raspado fix. Family owned EXTREMELY kind and helpful. Explained their flavors, literally got us to try something new and they DID NOT DISAPPOINT. I'm a little embarrassed to say we came back 2xs within 3 days Super cute and small. Very welcoming!!! YOU SERIOUSLY NEED TO TRY THIS PLACE!!!

This place is definitely a spot you want to check out if you are in the East LA area, the owner is very kind and the raspados are delicious. The prices are very responsible, it's small inside but there is plenty of seating. I will be coming back to Chamo when I'm in LA again, greetings from Orange County. A++ service!

Esquites in hot Cheetos bag, esquites with everything and the mango raspado. Everything was soo good!

Was craving something with tajin and found the BEST place to grab a tasty snack! Owner is so nice and went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience. Jealous of those that live in the area, so please don't miss out of what you have in your neighborhood! I'll be sure to go back for sure!

Raspados and free sample of their fresas con crema

We were craving raspados and looked up some near east LA and decided to try this one out. This is a family owned business and the prices are amazing! We got raspados and the kind lady let us have a sample of fresas con crema since she knew it was out first time! The place was really welcoming and I will definitely go back to try their esquites!

Marquedsita cheese crepe

Service is very welcoming and very helpful with any questions you may have. The only thing i get the marquesita crepe so delicious I dream of it definitely recommend. Cool little spot for a nice snack as well.

Passion fruit, mango, and tamarind raspado.

The owner was so nice and welcoming! We had a good time eating our food there. Would 10/10 recommend. It was a great spot to have a treat. They have a good variety of options to have. From ice cream to crepes and juices.

Best crepes around, the sunkissed raspado is a must try . I love stopping by here whenever I have a sweet craving

Yummy Diablito; called ahead of time to avoid wait. Tasted yummy, paid by credit card and owners are friendly. Good service.

Hands down the best RASPADOS IN ALL SOCAL.!!! My favorite De Tamarindo . Quick and very friendly service. Definitely recommend and worth the hour drive .

Mango Tamarind, Tajin & chamoy raspados.

Yum. I got a mango tamarind, tajin, and chamoy raspados and my daughter got a Nutella with house cream and pineapple and mango crepe. It smelled amazing. My daughter said it tastes excellent. The best. And it was pretty big. Like a big stuffed pancake. Love the value and the quality. The owners I'm guessing is who took our orders and they were very nice and helpful. (And patient) Will be back again when I'm back in the area. Glad I got a postmates order from here.

Riquísimo, prueben el jugo verde o los esquites o el raspado de tamarindo, las crepas y el biónico, la crema no tienen perdón de Dios. Me encanta su ambiente familiar y su servicio de primera, muy personalizado.

Love the Logo at the front counter!

The place is super small and no line, but the flavors were plentiful. I forget what they do, but you can get a combo of flavors in a single scoop. Cookies n cream and cookie dough are my two favorites, so I got that combo. It was super yummy. No wonder the place has so many positive reviews on Yelp!!

Then, an eternity ago, it closed and we were sad. Then Long Beach Creamery opened and we weren't that sad for that long, but still, I absolutely still thought about them every once in a while, sad that they'd left. Then, a much closer eternity ago (about a year ago - I've been super burned-out and not finishing my reviews), I was on my way from an event back to the blue line and walked by and noticed that they had, in fact, just moved. So obviously we had to get some. Verdict - yes, it absolutely was as good as I remembered. I wouldn't go back to DTLA just for ice cream, Long Beach Creamery being walking distance and wonderful, but I would absolutely stop here if I were back in DTLA and wanted ice cream. It's a bit pricey, but all craft ice cream is going to be, and it is definitely craft. And you can save a lot by getting a 3-scoop, which is very much enough to share for two people, if not slightly too much.

But I wanted to leave a review because the girl (I forgot to ask her name, sadly) who helped me today was really lovely! I bought 30g of their matcha and admittedly thought when they didn't give it to me at the counter that they forgot, but I sat down at a table to eat my ice cream and decided to just ask for it after I finished. Thank goodness I did, because the cashier came up to my table about 10 minutes later and handed me a little bag of fresh-ground matcha. She took a second to explain to me how to store it and keep it fresh, and I just really appreciated the extra bit of customer service, even if it's something they're maybe expected to do. When I have the money, I'll definitely come back and get their 100g pack! Highly recommend this place for any matcha lovers, whether you're looking for a drink, a sweet soft serve treat, or matcha for home use.

I had always…read morewalked past this shop and it was not until recently that I finally had a chance to visit this shop. [Parking]: I typically park at the Aiso Parking Garage (101 Judge John Aiso St). Unfortunately, the lot has a new parking rate starting in January 2026 with $1 per hour for the first two hours, $5 for each additional hour, and a $6 flat rate after 5 PM. I do not recommend the designated parking garage at Weller Court as the rate is $4 for every 15 minutes (unless you get validation from Marukai Market after spending over $25.) [Atmosphere & service]: The cafe has indoor seating with public outdoor tables also available. Personally this shop has more of a grab-and-go vibe. I was not a fan when the cashier asking whether I wanted to upgrade my drink from 16 oz to 24 oz and whether I wanted to buy a cookie. [Menu]: Some of Yelp's top recommended drinks include the Iced Matcha Latte, Strawberry Matcha Latte, and Iced Hojicha Latte. The shop also offers matcha or hojicha soft serve ice cream. The shop serves coffee from Demitasse (Demitasse's very first cafe was located across from Midori Matcha Cafe, but that location has since closed with the sole location Santa Monica.) *** Hojicha latte (Iced, 16oz Regular, Low Fat milk - $6.50): It tasted a bit diluted, but at least the drink tasted like actual hojicha and did not have a chocolate aftertaste. *** 3.5-star for the drink and bump down due to the attempted upselling.

They have so many locations and only wish they had more. The closest to me is about 20mins away but it's worth the drive every time. I love this location especially. Always such friendly staff and never have to wait in a long line. Basically, if you're a newbie, you go in and ALWAYS as for the "seasonal flavors" for tasting. They give you tasters on silver spoons and you drop it down this hole when you're done. It's literally their culture to give you a taste of everything on their seasonal menu so don't skip out on this experience. It's the best way to try their ice cream. FUN FACT: they also have 1-2 flavors that are considered "last chance" flavors which means they are about to run out so get it before it's gone. Each month I go in to try another tasty flavor and it never disappoints but I am sometimes that girl who tries the new stuff but ends up getting her usual order (chocolate brownie) and am always happy. Just the smell of sugar cone alone when you walk in gets you hooked. The atmosphere is just so welcoming. Don't be intimidated by the many flavors to choose from because there are a lot. I like to get their double scoop in a waffle cone, but they also have awesome split scoop options for those more adventurous and want to try multiple flavors in one scoop. Saves you for when you're keeping your sugar levels down. There are usually always places to sit inside or outside so you can enjoy your goodies right away.
