Peanut Mochi with Kinako powder (sugar included)

Great freshly made mochi option Parking in lot behind the store or streetside Order through the kiosk and accepts credit card The mochi are large and stuffed with filling, with a very pillowy soft mochi exterior. They have a lot of great flavor options There are some highs and some lows. Their Peanut with Kinako powder with sugar is SUPERB! It is quite messy though! But for $3.50 so generous and filling. We also LOVED their mango filled mochi (fresh fruit with a mango cream as well) Their Mochi with fresh strawberry was nice but was also filled with strawberry cream cheese which was different. Can't say I loved it, as I think a strawberry infused whipped cream would have worked better and ate lighter. Their Red bean Matcha with dark chocolate was also not a win. The mochi is dusted with a very bitter matcha powder and the red bean is very generous but overpowers any chocolate or matcha beyond the bitter topping. Would be back for sure but for more targeted choices. Would order one to fill someone up fully. It's quite generously sized.

The mochi is very big and there are plenty of flavors to choose from. They are very stretchy and soft, it was cool to watch the staff handwrap each mochi. Out of the ones I got, I liked the strawberry one the most. My friends and I did not like the grape matcha mochi at all. I thought the mochi keychains were really cute and squishy. They also didn't all have the same face on them. There is a small parking structure behind the building so parking was not difficult

This place is popular now with the kids (and I recall this place used to be a MochiNut before so there's a mochi connection) but fresh mochi has been around a long time. Had a chance to try some of the offerings and concluded that what we didn't order are probably the items that I would like to eat. It's great that everything is made to order but I did not like the cream cheese that they use. And I like cream cheese if you've seen me with a bagel. The cream cheese here has a bit of a sour note that didn't do it for me. It's like back when Pinkberry was around and the yogurt they used was a bit sour which made me more of a Yogurtland fan. I would like to go back and try the more traditional mochi with just black sesame or peanuts and sugar. The mochi ball with purple rice and taro also sounds interesting so go try this place and find what you like but avoid the cream cheese (LOL). They have a fresh durian mochi for you durian lovers. Check out my pics.

If you're craving mochi, I recommend coming here for a quick bite. The mochi is super stretchy and soft. I got the mango and strawberry mochi and both were good. The filling is flavored cream cheese so if you don't like cream cheese, DONT get it. There's so many options, I'd definitely come back to try more. There's also plenty of parking in the plaza. The store itself is pretty small so when it gets busy, the store could get packed. You can order on the kiosks but just keep track of your text because they don't really call you once it's ready and when it gets busy, the line can get pretty long. Cute store though :)

I recommend eating these mochis fresh. I bought 4 but I could only finish 1. I had 3 in the fridge so they weren't as soft. But they're still chewy. The mochi were delicious, many toppings to choose from. I highly recommend it. I waited 20 minutes because they made them fresh.

I've seen Nuo Mochi all over Instagram, so my friend and I thought I'd come try it out. The line has gotten significantly shorter (I came on a Saturday afternoon), but even without a line, it still took about 20 minutes to get a mochi. I got the Dark Chocolate Mochi, and it was pretty much just mochi on the outside and a dark chocolate truffle on the inside. I'm not sure what I was really expecting, but it was pretty good, just not stunning. It was also around $7, which seemed to be a pretty steep price to me. My friend got the Mango Bobo Mochi, and she said it was a lot of cream cheese. Overall, I'd say it's worth a try once if you really like mochi, but I wouldn't come out of my way to get this again.

We came back yesterday because my bf was craving mochi for dessert. There was a long line of people waiting for their orders. Lucky for us, this mochi place is so close to my house that we didn't have to wait at the store and got to pick it up later at our convenience. From the time we placed the order at this kiosk to getting the ready for pickup text, it was about 35 minutes. They hand make their mochis there in real time. I could hear the mochis getting slapped haha. We ordered three mochis total around $19 with tax. Mochis are all super soft and chewy. Taro, Purple Rice, Red Bean Mochi Soybean Powder(Sweet) - our favorite out of the three even though we ate it the next day. It wasn't overly sweet- perfectt! Mango Pomelo BoBo Cream Cheese Mochi - our second favorite, had real chunks of pomelo and mango. Unqiue combo Matcha Green Grape Mochi(slightly bitter) - still good but not as good as the others and yes it was a little bitter but not bad at all. Had real chunks of green grapes inside. Overall, very satisfied with the mochis. It is definitely worth it for me especially because I don't have to wait as long. I remember seeing 77 orders ahead of mine at the time I placed my order. For those who are driving far to try this place, I would recommend ordering it first and then walking around or doing errands and then pick your order up after since it takes a while. They do take card. Parking is by the streets or behind the plaza they do have their designated parking.

Unfortunately underwhelmed by the mochi. Still very popular with a 30 minute wait in Sunday afternoon. Appreciate the hand made nature. Friendly service. Tried the black sesame and peanut mochi which was tasty but crumbly texture inside that falls apart when eating; may have been better if they had made this into a paste. The strawberry was heavy on the cream cheese and tasted mostly like strawberry cream cheese for bagels.

When you enter there are two kiosks to place your order. I got the following... 1. Matcha Green Grape- The grapes are crunchy and fresh and the matcha taste was great. 10/10 my favorite. 2. Passion fruit pineapple - Tart, sweet, and fresh. Really good. 9/10 3. Strawberry Creamcheese- Has actual strawberry pieces and it was good. 8/10 4. Taro Oreo- The oreo is good but as a taro hater, I did not like this one. If taro is something you like, you might enjoy this one. 5. Darian- I expected this one to taste like it did and it was different to say the least. My palate is definitely not used to it but if you are, you will be blown away! Very unique and I'm glad I got to try this.

Saw the viral video on Instagram and decided to check it out. The only way to place an order is through the kiosk. When I was there on a Saturday afternoon, after I placed an order, it took 25 to 30 minutes to make. Wait time was very extremely long. The mochi doll was soft, but very sticky. It was almost too sticky to eat because it was stuck on my throat. I like the idea of all the flavors. The sesame mochi - was OK, mild sweet, but it was very dried. It was a lot of sesame. Taro with purple rice - it was very bland. Doesn't have much sweetness. Taro was so thick and dry. They have great concept but need to work on their ingredients, unfortunately

I ordered the strawberry bobo mochi and it was delicious! The filling inside had fresh strawberries with crystal boba and strawberry cream cheese. The mochi was chewy and soft! The filling and mochi were both not too sweet and surprisingly, did not taste very dense. The size of it was HUGE (the size of my fist). I couldn't finish it in one sitting, so I'd highly recommend sharing. I tried to refrigerate my leftovers, but it didn't taste as good the next day. Thus, make sure to enjoy right away! My only wish is that there was more crystal boba! Also, since the filling had an immense amount of cream cheese, it's definitely an acquired taste. We waited about 25 minutes for the mochi to be ready since it's made fresh. Free parking lot in rear. No space to sit inside, but there's a small bench outside that could seat around 7 people. Very small space; definitely more of a to-go spot. All in all, it was pretty good and I would definitely come back to try their other flavors.

PRO-TIP: Do NOT take your mochi across the street to Atlantic Times Square and knead it on the outdoor tables. The mochi WILL go through all hole and pop out of the plastic wrap resulting in disgusting waste. Finally had the chance to try this super trendy, I guess viral mochi since it was on everyone's feed for awhile. On the way to the maid cafe, I'd usually see a line outside and I'd say to myself I'd go try it when it's a weekday when it's not as busy, but I never wanted to make the U-turn loop around to do so. While we were walking around the area, we thought to ourselves, why not since we're already there. I remember when waiting for the mochi would take 2-3 hours and there was a horribly long giga line in the torrential rain. Man, people will be influenced by anything (but I guess that's how society works). When we went on a Sunday evening, it was around a 15 minute wait for us to get our order and they let you know by text. There's 2 ordering kiosks and you can order online for pick up too. Whichever is the most convenient. With that in mind, the shop's ambiance can feel quite chaotic and very busy since lots of people are there to wait for their order and many times they're not there by themselves. The workers are rushing too, to get out as many orders as possible, but just have your order text message, number, and name ready and you should be good. There's like a chair and small bench inside and fence bench seating outside. There's tables down the way in the plaza next to the dead fountain, but there's no chairs. For my order, I got the: 1) Black Sesame Matcha Chocolate Mochi: -This is one of their special flavors. -Pretty sizeable mochi, around the size of your fist or a softball if you have yuri hands. -Comes in a cup and wrapped in saran wrap. It's easier to bite into and eat this than to try to separate it into pieces and share. -The black sesame part was pretty good, I'll give them that. -However, the matcha part (I guess it's because it's matcha chocolate) is literally an unformed rectangular solid brick in the middle of the mochi. So you're getting a super chewy, gooey, exterior, grainy interior, and then a solid hard brick to bite into. Not appealing whatsoever. My mistake. Despite it being more popular, it wasn't that great and also looked extremely haunting as food gore. 2) Pure Durian Mochi: -I got this for my parents. They liked the durian flavor but was ugh with the overall gooey squishiness of the entire thing, including how mushy the durian was on the inside with how mushy the mochi was too. 3) Soybean Mochi and Dip: -This is their soybean powder mochi (no filling) and it comes with salted milk cream and Oreo. -Looks NOTHING like the illustration that's on their ordering menu. The picture clearly shows like 8 pieces, but you're only getting half of that. Also the Oreo dip looks cute with what looks like a Hello Koala in it, but it does NOT come with that. -The reason I even got this was because it looks like it came with a sizeable amount that I can share with my family AND it looked cute. I was scammed and baited. Wouldn't be surprise that the art is AI slop created for the menu. USE REAL PICTURES GUYS. Definitely not worth the hype at least for what I ordered and from what I've experienced. At least I didn't have to wait that long, but if I was there at the start of it all and got what I ordered, I'd be PISSED.

These mochis are so fun and massive. They have really interesting flavors and I think there's something for everyone. My favorite came as a shock to me, because I usually like a chocolatey dessert, but the strawberry bobo mochi was really good. It's refreshing, the strawberries are sweet, and I like the cream cheese type filling they added in there. My second favorite was the taro Oreo cream cheese mochi. The pomelo in the mango pomelo was not ripe, so it didn't add anything to it, and the matcha chocolate was a little bitter.

The hours are a bit limited, but I managed to make it in time to grab some pre-made baked goods to go. I got a bag of coconut macaroons, bag of several chocolate chip cookies, 2 red velvet cookies, a baked dog cookie biscuit, and a cute Keroppi sugar cookie. Most of these ended up being gifts, but I did enjoy one of the red velvet cookies and for an already sweet flavor profile with white chocolate chips in it, I was already fearing the worse, but went perfect with a glass of milk. The edges were nicely crisped by the baking too. Delicious. Love that they had a stock of cute, pre-decorated cookies available as well (some Sanrio characters, animals, etc.) They also list all the ingredients used in each of the baked goods that they have prepackaged, which is nice. I definitely could taste the ube flavor, but the matcha flavor was weak. Additionally, the ice cream was not creamy. It was slightly icey. Somisomi's ice cream is much creamier, so I was disappointed with With Love's quality. Taiyaki with cookie butter: I really liked their taiyaki! It was crispy and slightly sweet. The cookie butter was great, but I just wish there was more filling. I do think their taiyaki is better than Somisomi's! Its a small shop on Main in Alhambra and there's a lot in the back as well as street parking. It's a brightly lit, pick up and go type place though there are a couple tables out front. The baked goods look really cute and enticing and I ended up going for a mystery box since I wasn't after a specific cake and the mystery aspect seemed appealing. I also got 6 egg tarts, which were a great price at $1 each. The baked goods/sweets looked better than they tasted flr me. The egg tarts had a texture that was a bit off putting for myself, it was more of a steamed egg texture than a silky custardy filling. Flavorwise, they were ok though. The mystery box was fun and I got an apple cake, peach cake, and a panda cake. Now the mystery box is day old cakes so keeping that in mind, they are like cream based "cakes" and are essentially cream covered gels/jellies of some sort. The flavor and textures were good, very light cream with strong fruit flavors (the panda was also a peach flavor, I think). As a set of the mystery box price, I think the cakes are fun to try but I wouldn't, personally, pay those prices for essentially shaped cream. I'm glad I tried a new spot but ultimately don't think it was super impressive and found most of their desserts and baked items to be average, or a little less so as for the egg tarts.
