Order the Beef Noodle Soup Ramen off the menu for lunch. Freshly made and very good. The staff was friendly and helped me navigate the menu on my first visit. Decided to order takeout for dinner. We ordered the curry ramen, oxtail curry plate, and the black pepper stir fry and milk tea (lavender). I had the curry ramen, veggie spicy and it was so good! My son enjoyed the black pepper beef stir fry in his words "it was bussin" and my husband had the oxtails which he said were good. I enjoyed the lavender milk tea. I came for dinner and got to try the tonkatsu curry alongside a teriyaki bowl. The restaurant wasn't that busy and the staff were patient & helpful! The tonkatsu curry was pretty good. Everything was cooked well and everything fused together well. The chicken is really just a breaded chicken and I liked that the ginger wasn't an absolutely dominating flavor when mixed. No complaints, a little salty if that's what you like in a curry. The bowl was delicious! I didn't expect that much from it, but i was pleasantly surprised. Everything tasted super fresh, including the veggies, which made it seem much lighter than I anticipated. I liked the inclusion of cabbage which I don't traditionally see in bowls like this. Overall i'd recommend the teriyaki bowl over the tonkatsu curry, but you can't go wrong with either. Definitely check the place out! read more

On our way back home to Miami from Savannah, we found this place right in the middle to grab a bite. Ambience is super chill.. if you're into anime and Japanese Pop groups, walls are all painted with anime and the music was just that, Japanese spice girls vibes, fine by me.. I came in for boba tea and grabbed a small cucumber salad while here. The spot itself is across the street from Bowlero. The decor is dope, anime themed. Very easy to understand menu. I didn't even know this place was there lol. But I got a Facebook advertisement where they sent me a coupon through PM when I signed up for it. They didn't just spam me I did request the coupon. So that's always a nice touch that they're not just spamming you.. anyhow there was a variety of coupons to choose from but I was most interested in their soups and ramens. So I decided on the Shoyu with pork and the beef noodle soup. They came with plentiful ingredients. The shoyu even had an onsen egg and it looked exactly like what you see on YouTube when people order them in Japan. I have never had an onsen egg but it definitely looked exactly like on TV. The broth was incredibly deep flavored and not just salty it had a wonderful balance of really complex flavors. I'm not 100% sure what the flavors were but they were really nice. All of the ingredients seemed very very fresh and since it was a to go order they separated the broth from the rest of it which is so important when you're dealing with a hot soup and a noodle because your noodles become mush by the time you get home. It didn't seem like a ton of food but I couldn't finish it because I became so full from all of those ingredients. And I was extremely satisfied due to just the complexity of all of the flavors without any of the flavors over shadowing the next. Now on to the beef noodle soup. It's a more simplistic soup which is generally more my style. It does not come with an egg but it does come with beef tendon and beef flank as well as some red onions green onions I think it was cilantro and the most wonderful beef broth I have ever had. Legitimately this is probably the second best soup I've ever had in my 41 years on this planet. And the other soup was a pho from a business that is no longer in business sadly. Also they were completely different I might even be romanticizing that soup this may very well be the best broth I've ever had in my life. Flavor was deep and beefy. And yet it was completely balanced by those onions and the herbs. The meat was plentiful The noodles were perfect. They used a more broad noodle and all together it was just the best. I also asked them for a small thing of chili oil or hot oil and they gave me the cutest little thing of it and it really made the soup pop. Without being overwhelmingly hot. It was amazing It had simple ingredients but the most complex flavor. It was not overly fatty but had just the. right amount of richness. I will absolutely be going back for that beef noodle soup. It was fantastic. If you decide to eat there they had a really cool like modern sort of building with a lot of anime artwork and a television. There was like exposed pipes on the top that were decorative but probably functional as well. It was just really nice. I could see sitting there and eating. And the employees were great as well. Overall I couldn't recommend it more. read more
