So very lucky to have this place close by. Quality ingredients, prepared with care. Not at all your "typical" Thai place; much more inventive and creative dishes. The Vietnamese curry and all fried rice dishes are standouts. Sure, you will pay a few bucks more and that's tough for many of us in this economy....but the portions are HUGE and it's really delightful to treat yourself to a lovingly prepared meal at the end of a hard week. Once was a hidden gem, and new owners put profit over everything. Quality of service has drastically gone down, wait time increased, and get ready to eat crunchy rice. Almost the entire menu was gluten free and now there's more gluten foods being added. I've gotten sick several times ever since the new owners came into the picture. Highly disappointed. Everything on the menu is costly with prices being increased frequently and without warning. Some foods taste better, while other staples taste worse. Prices are good for portion sizes. Pad thai was good, I asked for level 7 heat not spicy. Second visit, shrimp w/ crispy noodles & ginger sauce level 9 still not spicy. Wasn't offered the spicy sauces they bring to the table. My son enjoyed his fried rice. Rolls were good, peanut sauce was better. My issue is we weren't told the lemonade wasn't refillable when offered another. $12 for 2 lemonades, we would've ordered thai tea if we knew. Food takes a while, gotta be patient when dining. The young man who served us was pleasant and attentive. The papaya salad was fresh (added pepper sauce/oil) to add the heat I'm accustomed to; the shrimp and scallops in my friend's fried rice looked like they were cooked to perfection. We have been driving by here since we moved back....four years ago.....Thai and Viet food. Interior is a bit dated and very utilitarian. New owners as mentioned in other reviews but the owner was present and waiting on tables. Menu photos were uploaded and the choices were very broad. Apps were Summer Rolls and Siagon Roll. The peanut sauce with the summer roll was very good. We went with Pad Thai and it was very good. Not too spicey. 3/10 is what we asked for....Huge portion. I went for the Sweet and Sour soup 1/10 in heat.....note to self...the pepper oil floats on the top of the soup and washes over your lips with each spoonful....it was a bit much for me. The drinks were good. Interesting I had to pay 50 cents for a red solo cup that I could have my "infused" water in. Sweet tea was freshly brewed. Check out the photos. The new owners are doing their best.....saving grace is they have the same cook and chef as the last owner. We heard several folks who came in asking about the previous owner. This was first time here. I tried two soups. Tom Yum and chicken pho. The chicken pho was ok. The tom yum was LOADED with chunks of celery, obviously being used as a filler. It does not say in the menu that it has tomatoes, but there were some. I would have loved more. This was not spicy at all and was more sweet. I should not have diverted from my regular pho place. Also the lid cracked and the soup spilled all over the place inside the bag. That was probably my fault because I pushed down on the stacked to go containers suddenly to keep it from tipping over in my car. That's on me. read more

What a find!!! This is the BEST place to accommodate vegan AND non vegan eaters both with 5 star options! Everything is made fresh in house, even the peanut sauce... which was SO good that I had to get the tiny amount left I had to go! They also have their own nice cream that they make in house! Since our last Pho spot closed, we have been on the hunt for a great bowl. On a whim, we landed upon Asian Gourmet. Tucked into a few small buildings at the intersection of US1and Babcock. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but Their Pho is on point. We started out with the pork springs rolls that set the stage for the main event. When ordering your Pho you can select your protein, size, and heat level. We got 2 med Stk Pho bowls with the heat level of 5&6. Being our first time, it was a trial. The Pho was fantastic even though in the future we would have asked for more heat 8&9 and always get the large. We will be back soon. I have eaten here before and have come back. Today, while the food was good, the service was very bad. Upon entering there was no response or acknowledgement that I was even there - after waiting 10 minutes I went to the counter and asked for a menu. My order was eventually taken and I asked for hot sauce on the side. My food came and there was no hot sauce and I asked the server who brought the food (different from who took the order) for hot sauce again and again it was not delivered. I finally went back to the counter and asked for hot sauce for a third time and got it. The other thing is that they did not offer or bring water - you have to get it yourself. I did not recognize anyone serving from previous visits - guess they have a new crew. Not sure if I will go back. Sorry for the review but I believe that if you do not tell businesses what you really think, they will not improve. read more

The restaurant is quaint and peaceful. The server was attentive. He was very knowledgeable about what is in the dishes and went over the differences with the original pad thai verses the vegan option. That was great information for me due to being vegetarian. Once food came we never saw him again. This location must be pretty old. They have this gold foil duck tape wrapped around the entire restaurant that is now pealing off and looks pretty bad. I did like the papaya plants growing all around the outside. Overall, yeah give them a try! We may or may not come back but will not make a special trip for this location. Went here at 7pm, owner welcomed us and took time to talk to us. Food was great, Pho was delicious not over powering, we finished a medium bowl. Also had Vietnamese curry, a new curry i havent had elsewhere, very flavorful! We also had, fried spring roll (recommend), rice soup/congee( plain tasting which what is suppose to be, recommend) fried rice combo, this is good to take home and eat at work! Oh and the key lime pie.... my husband is very picky with key lime and he loved it! Will be back here for sure!! We ordered too much for 2 people, we had to take home left overs for lunch to work.
