It was meh. The service was great but the food and the ambiance were subpar. My stomach was a little funky after.

Another great meal! Service was impeccable. My favorite go to place for Thai and Vietnamese dishes. I always eat on the patio. I selected the Small #16 Pho Tao Bo Vien ($10) and the Deluxe Philly Roll ($14). Both were WONDERFUL! I felt very good after eating. TASTY, LIGHT & HEALTHY!

Service was good, except took a while to get menus. Also it's a steam bath inside. I thought FL you get AC everywhere. Oh well. The selection is nice but I can't sweat so much when eating. Food was very good, especially the roll specials. Also reasonably priced.

Wabi Sabi Thai Restaurant- Merritt Island, FL 1 Star As I got out of the Big Boy mobile in the parking lot of Wabi Sabi Thai Restaurant in Merritt Island, I was dumbfounded as the building looked just this side of condemned. I mean it. This had to be the biggest dump I have ever seen for an operating dining facility. I was not impressed upon entrance either. The food had better be outstanding as they obviously spent zero money on appearances outside or inside. After being seated and handed a menu, Jessica approached and introduced herself as my waitress and based on the sour, self-entitled attitude she exuded, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say she is the cookie-cutter Gen Z humanoid. Despite her obviously not wanting to work that day, she took my order for some Green Curry with chicken, an eponymous Wabi Sabi roll and my barometer for this kind of food, a spicy tuna hand roll. According to the guy sitting next to me with a neck tattoo, this place did serve the bomb food. Based on his conversation with his table mate I was hoping the food to be better than the surroundings. It seemed that Jessica had just gone to drop my order when she returned with my grub. The Green Curry with chicken was so overcooked the chicken had the consistency of a rubber eraser and tasted like it as well. The curry was void of "curriness" and fell flat on the palate. Moving on to the Wabi Sabi roll I noticed that the Avacado looked to be past its prime (the picture speaks for itself) and one bite confirmed this assumption. The fish was fishy tasting which means it was past its freshness point for being served raw (at least for those with a discerning palate). The spicy tuna hand roll was prepared in Thai fashion and this is not what it should taste like. The tuna was OK, but it is not prepared like the spicy tuna hand roll found in your traditional Japanese Sushi joint. I am not sure what they use to make it so different, my only guess is the chili paste is the difference as different countries have different takes on this staple of Asian cuisine. As one may notice there is no picture of the disgusting slop passed off as Green Curry with chicken as I was so upset over the near-swill I was served I forgot to snap one as I hurried the hell out. The Big Boy says, "while looks can be deceiving, in this case, they're not, the food is as bad as the dump in which it is served. If you are coming off a 10 fast and are about to drop from hunger and see this place, keep going." Oh, and never trust a food critique from someone with a neck tattoo

The spot where tourists and locals love to eat!!…read more Whenever me and my family decides to eat out. Thai Thai is our go to! The quality of food for the price point is beyond excellent. Whether you're hungry for some sushi, or a your favorite classic Thai dish, you don't want to skip this spot. Our personal favorites are the crispy duck pad Thai, the crab angels, with Thai hot chicken and shrimp fried rice as well. This spot will hit all your appetite or craving needs. The service is fast and polite. I always bring my family to eat here when they are visiting from out of town. Highly recommend.

Based on its strong ratings, we were excited to give it a try and hoped we had found one of our go to spots while visiting Cocoa Beach. Unfortunately, the experience didn't quite live up to those expectations. We placed a takeout order and sat at the sushi bar while we waited. Unfortunately, the experience got off to a rough start. The sushi chef was the first point of contact for guests, and throughout our visit she came across as short and dismissive with multiple people who approached her with questions about seating and ordering. It wasn't directed solely at us, but it definitely set the tone for the experience. While we waited, I ordered the Spicy Krab Roll. The sushi was fresh, but the rice to filling ratio was noticeably off, so each bit tasted primarily of rice. The menu describes the roll as being mixed with spicy mayo, yet there was virtually no spice. When I politely mentioned that it didn't seem spicy, I was told, "That's how we make it. If you want it hotter, you have to ask for spicy,". I couldn't ask if they could add a little spice quick enough before the chef walked away. A simple explanation or an offer to add a little extra spicy mayo would have completely changed the interaction. The takeout itself was a mixed experience. The basil chicken was the clear standout of the evening and the only dish that truly met our expectations. It was packed with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and something we'd absolutely order again. In fact, hubby finished it before I even had a chance to take a photo. The green curry was decent, but it didn't meet the expectations that came with a $17.95 price tag. It was noticeably thinner and less creamy than the rich, velvety green curries we're accustomed to and lacked the depth of flavor we typically expect from this dish. It wasn't bad, but it also wasn't particularly memorable. The Thai fried rice fell into the same category. It was acceptable, but we've had many versions that were far more flavorful and difficult to put down. This one just didn't stand out. One more thing worth mentioning is the spice scale. We eat Thai food regularly, and the restaurant offers four spice levels: Mild, Medium, Hot, and Thai Hot. My husband ordered Hot, and we'd compare it to about a 2 out of 4 compared to many other Thai restaurants, where we'd typically expect Hot to be a 3 out of 4. If you enjoy spicy food, you may want to consider ordering a level higher than you normally would. Overall, the food came out quickly, and the sushi itself was fresh. However, considering the prices, we expected more consistency across the menu and a more welcoming customer experience. We intentionally chose this restaurant because of its excellent Yelp reputation, which made the experience all the more surprising. While the basil chicken was really good but we wouldn't eat here again based on the totality of the experience.

We discovered this restaurant on our way back to the hotel and decided to check it out. After seeing the reviews on Yelp, we decided to make this our choice for dinner. Walking in, the location was clean and presented a dim ambiance. We headed to the hostess stand, requested a table for two and were immediately taken to our table. As it was my first time, I took a moment to take in all of the options. The menu was very robust and had pages of great options. Once I had taken it all in, I decided on the Crab Rangoon for my appetizer and the Pad Thai with Chicken as my entreé. Crab Rangoon: Very Meaty. Not the cluster of Cream Cheese inner back home. These were filled with crab meat and the right amount of cream cheese. They were very flavorful and fried to perfection. The sweet chili sauce provided was amazing as well and really put the flavor profile on 1000. Pad Thai: The Pad Thai was off the chain good. Great portion. Multi-Flavor profile dish which was done to perfection. All of the flavors paired well and allowed each one to shine. The level of sweetness was exactly as you would expect from a Pad Thai dish done right. Also, the noodles were done perfectly which really complimented the tenderness of the chicken. I'm talking Purrrrrrrrrrfection. Siam Orchid Cocoa Beach was a great decision for dinner. Compliments to the chef.
