Everything was amazing. The prices may be a little high, but the portions are large and the food is fantastic. I really enjoy coming here to eat. Best Sushi in Brevard hands down! Obviously there can be a wait during popular dinner times on the weekend so just a heads up, though I feel Pac Rim is pretty efficient and orders are out to the tables pretty fast. The worst part about Pacific Rim is this menu, there is soooo much to choose from, which honestly isn't bad. Everything I've had here has been delicious. Service is always great. The entree portions are always huge, which is great for leftovers. During my visit today I ordered chicken satay and miso soup as apps and then a Dirty Mike specialty roll. The dirty Mike was HUGE. I didn't finish it. My favorite part was the spicy conch on top. Heads up, this roll is on the spicier side, so if you are partial to spice, I'd stay away from this one. read more

But let me tell you each and every Thai dish which the have either oyster sauce or fish oil or egg. Amazing large portions of sushi. Don't get the curry spicy (even level 1) unless you can really handle some spice. They were nice and mixed the curry dish we got at a level 1 with some coconut milk to tame the spice which really helped. It was a poorly wrapped portion of seaweed with a dollop of plain mashed tuna on top with two slivers of cucumber stuffed in. The yellow tail was fine. This was what I got for approximately $40. Pacific Rim was absolutely delicious and every dish I saw come up was beautiful! I arrived as soon as the restaurant opened and within 30 minutes, there wasn't a seat in the place. Reservations are a must or be there when they first open to ensure you're accommodated. Pacific Rim is perfect for a beach town like Cocoa Beach and I will definitely make it a fav place to visit when in town. From the welcoming service to helpful wait staff, the entire dining experience was creative, fun and pleasurable. The fried pork gyoza was what I started with and they were traditional, not fried too hard and mouth watering, just how I like them. They had so many sushi options that I needed help with favorites and can't even remember the name of the sushi I ordered but what I do remember is its deliciousness. I couldn't stop thinking about their amazing sushi and had to give Pacific Rim another chance. I had a previous poor experience with a manager and to my surprise and relief I found out that manager is no longer with their restaurant. Good riddance. Our recent experience was incredible! They accommodated our 10 plus group with a smile and pleasure. We felt so invited and welcomed. Even near closing time we didn't feel rushed at all. The manager on duty was so kind. Our server was Makayla and she was amazing. How she handled our large group all by herself with ease and consideration was impressive. Now for the important part... our food was easily 5 stars. Every single person was so impressed. They have the best sushi I have ever had in my life!!! Very fresh and unique combinations. Was on vacation from Chicago during my stay in Cocoa Beach. Love Thai food. Someone recommended Pacific Rim. Lovely, relaxing atmosphere and ambiance; and a very friendly, welcoming, professional, accommodating staff. Other patrons were ordering Sushi entrees/items. I don't do sushi. And no patrons around me, including the waiting staff were eager to recommend any Thai items on the menu. So, I played it safe, and went basic. Ordered some Pad Thai noodles. They were jut okay...Didn't really like their overly slurpy texture-didn't feel like there was that much effort in preparing them. Was going to try the basic shrimp fried rice, but the patrons sitting next to me recommended that I didn't; they said the rice wasn't so great either. We have dined in 3 times; twice for lunch and once for dinner. We found lunch to be more enjoyable because of the rice. Rice is a very important part of sushi, especially the texture. Maybe they were having an off day when we had dinner because the rice was mushy. Anyways, service has been great even when they were busy. Our friend ordered the Monkey Brain for us to try and I was surprised that I liked it. I've had fried sushi before and it's usually greasy and heavy. But not this one, it was good! I normally order the sashimi or sushi combos. I like the unagi too but the pieces were pretty thin. Remember to pay with cash to avoid 3.5% surcharge for using credit cards. read more

I am surprised at all of the good ratings! First off, the service was top notch. However, my food was terrible. I ordered a hot dragon roll, which was supposed to have fried Krab on the inside, and tuna on the top. The Krab was all crust and no Krab. But the most unbelievable thing was that the "tuna" on the top, was a terrible bit of what was disguised to be a slab of tuna fish, but instead was a mush of what appeared to be finely ground tuna! The sushi rice was terrible, there was a pencil thin piece of avocado inside. I had to ask for wasabi, and it was the worst roll I ever had. Had a late dinner with my group of 10 this evening. The staff was very helpful and was able to seat us within 5 minutes. Our waitress was wonderful! She handled our group with ease. The food came out hot, fresh and delicious! I ordered the wonton vegetable soup and Drunken noodle with chicken...all I have to say is it did NOT disappoint. Wonderful service, wonderful sushi and sashimi. I ordered the sushi/ sashimi combo which came with soup or salad. I chose the salad and it was a lovely mix of greens exclusive of common lettuces. As you might expect it was dressed with a carrot ginger dressing which was not as refined as in many places. The carrot: ginger was fine grated rather than puréed. Very good. The sushi was comprised of yellow tail, tuna, white tuna and salmon. The rice was a bit undercooked and not as well dressed as I would have liked. The sashimi was generous in its portions and was super fresh. It too was tuna, white tuna, yellow tail and salmon. There was an interesting addition to this order- a deep fried slice of a spicy tuna roll. I've never had it before but it was quite tasty. A small pile of radish strands and decorative cucumber slices adorned the box. My partner ordered the sashimi lunch. It too came in a box with generous portions of tuna, white tuna, yellow tail and salmon. She too got the deep fried roll with spicy tuna and cream cheese. Quite nice. There was a portion of rice with some sesame seeds on it -again, somewhat dry (either old or undercooked). Fish was excellent! This lunch plate comes with soup or salad. Like me, she had the salad.
