St. Regis strikes again!!! Arguably one of the most…read morebeautiful and luxurious property from Marriott, The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort and Residences exceeds all expectations and provided the most unbelievable experience any hotel stays can offer. I booked 3 basic rooms with points, days before check in we were upgraded to TWO-2 Bedroom Royal Suites, both Royal suites were high floor ocean front with amazing south beach views, at check in I told the the hotel they can keep the third room, cause with the two-2 bedroom Royal suits we basically have 4 rooms already I do not need the third room which they also upgraded, I told them I was not worried about the points spent and let some other guests enjoy the third suite, the hotel actually cancelled my third room reservation and returned all my points, these 2 royal suites have a combined value of $8,000, I was super happy about this upgrade. Everyone and everything at this resort was perfect, from the beach attendants to pool servers and all staffs, everyone was very attentive and friendly. All kinds of complimentary treats throughout the day like champagne and free ice cream, treats by the pool often and pictures by the beach Welcome gift was breakfast for all guests, hand wrote welcome letters, huge fruit baskets and sparkling water was delivered to the room by our butler. Oh did I mention the house car was a $300k Bentley, the house car took us to dinner and back with ease. This resort is everything a luxury resort should be, we have been to all kinds of top tier resort from Marriott and Hilton, The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort hands down is the best of them all

Hi everyone, I…read moremyself in Hospitality so for that reason, I wanted to share my experience during my recent travels. At the Ritz-Carlton hotel bar, I ordered a coffee and asked if they had any croissants . Tania!! The staff member informed me that croissants weren't on the menu. However, she offered to check the breakfast area across the hotel to see if any were left over after breakfast hours. I told her that either plain or chocolate croissants would be fine. She left to check and returned with a plain croissant. To my surprise, she also brought some butter and additional chocolate so I could make my own chocolate croissant. It's the little things that matter!

Came here for our first trip with our 7-month-old and this did not feel like a 5-star experience,…read moreespecially at $1,400+ per night. We did get upgraded from an ocean view room to a coastline view suite and appreciated being able to choose between the two at check-in. Even with the upgrade, the stay didn't live up to expectations. The biggest issue is that the property feels dated and poorly maintained. In our room alone there was peeling laminate in the bathroom, likely from the tub faucet spraying toward the window, a shower that never got hot enough, and on our last day the closet door handle literally fell off. Not what you expect at this price point. Service was inconsistent. We walked into our room at one point and found housekeeping sitting on the couch. Valet was also frustrating since the parking attendant couldn't clearly direct us to visitor parking, so we ended up paying for valet every day. The hair dryer was low quality with only one heat setting. I use a salon-quality dryer at home, but even compared to some 4-star hotels this felt like a downgrade. Small detail, but it adds up. Food was mediocre and overpriced. A $22 piña colada mocktail was basically a slushy. Nothing we had stood out in a good way. The pool area is smaller than expected and not particularly nice for a resort like this. We were expecting more, whether that meant a larger pool, a second pool, or something more elevated. The beach was the highlight. Chairs and umbrellas were included in the resort fee and the staff there were genuinely warm and attentive. There was also noticeable construction noise and sound from the nearby bridge, which took away from the overall experience. The blackout curtains didn't fully close, which made it harder to get good sleep with a baby, and the balcony furniture felt minimal. Overall, this felt like fake luxury. The branding is there, but the experience doesn't match. Not worth the price and we would not stay here again.

I stayed as part of a corporate event and stayed four days and three nights. A large conference room and several smaller rooms were rented as part of the event. We ate breakfast there each day and ate dinner one night and lunch on two days as part of the event. The food was generally pretty good. The lunch and dinners were buffets, the breakfast was table order. Our breakfast was confusing with three people stopping by and we were asked our room number multiple times including when we arrived.....only to have to write it on the receipt. Complete with included tip and a blank for another tip if we chose. Elevators wait was long as there were only three. Pluses and minuses capture the stay pretty well. Look around for other hotels before booking and compare overall ratings vs cost.

This unprofessional attitude significantly impacted our experience, and I expected better service for the price.". This place is mad weird. The front desk staff has zero customer service skills, zero professionalism, and clearly no accountability. A hotel can look nice, but if the people running it behave like this, it's not worth it. I would never stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone who expects basic professionalism or respect as a guest.
