I read the amazing reviews for the salon and for Paul and am so glad I booked. I wanted to go platinum blonde from the dark blonde/brown I was. I came in with a mix of previously highlighted hair and box dye and Paul was able to create magic. He was up front about the risks and what would be needed on my end to maintain healthy hair once bleached, but still gave me the confidence that he could do it. And he was right! He took his time and was meticulous about not bleaching the strands that were previously highlighted and gave me an amazing deep condition. My hair actually feels healthier than before somehow. Long story short, he is the first stylist to really listen to me and what I want. He achieved it without compromising my hair. I'm just so relieved to finally find my stylist and salon. I have very short hair and only came in for a root touch-up, three highlights, and a quick bang trim. Somehow, the stylist managed to stretch this out into a four-hour process just to rack up a bill of over $500.00. The salon itself is funky, located in the middle of nowhere, and nowhere near worth the premium they are charging. To make matters worse, management is awful and incredibly nasty to deal with. It's pretty clear how they can afford to take their team on extravagant vacations--they are doing it by completely overcharging and taking advantage of their customers. Save your time and your money, and go somewhere else.

It was one of the best recommendations ever made to me! Danielle is so unbelievably knowledgeable in her field and is an expert at giving you the hair color not only that you were looking for, but makes it better because she tailors it completely to how it will best benefit your natural looks. Danielle has been doing my hair for years all over the world! She has been amazing with my hair as she's travelled to do mine in various different countries. Don't waste your time! Or your money! Went to her based on her reviews that all seem fake now having gone to her, and was following her socially... lesson learned! She claims to be an expert on color and yet I left with highlights that looked more like zebra stripes!? And then she had the nerve to charge me for the work she did!? Respectfully, in all my life of getting haircuts, I have never felt disappointed, angry or sad…read moreleaving a salon. It's a place that is usually safe and trusted - because our hair holds a lot of weight with our confidence. But that is exactly how I left today. I asked for a trim and curtain bangs and I left with hair a few inches shorter, looking like Dwight Schrute. A week before a major work event in CA. My bangs are awful and not at all curtained, not to mention so short I cannot even tuck them behind my ears. My hair is noticeably thinner because she put in too many layers - even though I advised I only do a FEW strategic layers due to thinner hair. And shorter by a few inches when I only asked for a trim (and note I did NOT have several inches worth of unhealthy hair). Bawling in a salon because you were not listened to is a horrifying experience. Will never return. And the offer to try and fix it? I wouldn't let anyone there near my hair with anything sharp (or dull for that matter) ever again. PLEASE think about what you do before you do it. Listening is free 99. Go conservative on cutting because you can always take more off - but there is no getting my hair back.

I knew Shannon knew what she was doing when she explained she was going to use the highest level to lift (Black is hard to lift and my hair was black, blonde and brassy on the bottom) I told her I wanted caramel colors and she delivered a stunning color as the end result. It was also not highlighted and was in very large yellow chunks. I felt like Cruella Deville from 101 Dalmatians. I called back and they told me I could "come back in a few days" to get "an extra foil" to even it out and that I should "part my hair another way" to fix it. I went to another salon the next day and they were in disbelief that this was the result of an appointment at Allure 24 hours prior. In order to fix this job, I paid another $200 at another salon and have to go back again in 4 weeks for another touchup. I was not offered any apology, my emails to Allure have been ignored and no refund was offered. No one has called me to apologize or fix this either. The first photo was taken at home within 2 hours of my appointment and the next were taken by another hair stylist at another business. The other hair salon told me I was not overreacting and I should get my money back as well. Update 6/19/23: They claimed that I suddenly decided to part my hair on the side for the first time in 30 years. They also claimed to have responded to my emails days ago when I didn't get an email until several hours ago today. They also questioned when the photos were taken, which is insanity. I have the time stamps because smart phones provide those when photos are taken. Completely rude, dismissive and unprofessional!

I'm going to now have to pay to have it corrected (which won't be cheap). DON'T assume (like I did) that this salon is reputable as it is in Cherry Creek. It is NOT! In addition, the owner asked (through his receptionist) to see pictures and then said I could get a refund through Groupon. They would not issue a refund and the business will not issue a refund! This is appalling. No apology (as others have said) and no attempt to offer a refund for poor service. Buyer, beware!
