If all contractors communicated the way Rudy does, half of the world's problems would probably be solved (ok, slight hyperbole). From start to finish, Rudy was incredibly communicative, knowledgeable, professional, and transparent. He let me know when he was heading to my house, when he arrived on the property, and when he left. I never had to wonder whether he was coming or if I had been ghosted by yet another contractor. He kept every appointment and did exactly what he said he was going to do. Apparently, this level of reliability does still exist! He was also extremely respectful and as another Yelper mentioned, never pushy about upselling me. He listened to what I wanted, worked with me, and offered ideas about what would look best in my backyard. I felt like I was getting genuine advice rather than a sales pitch. There are maybe one or two other people I've hired over the years whom I would gleefully recommend without hesitation. Rudy is now firmly on that very short list. If anyone I know needs bistro lights installed, I wouldn't just recommend him. I'd probably insist. My only complaint is that Rudy doesn't offer more services. Not only were they responsive, but they were able to get someone to me within 30-45 mins after my call. I like to do my due diligence, so I got quotes from electricians who couldn't make it to me for 1-2 days and Conejo's price was very competitive. The electrician that came to my place, Damian, was extremely knowledgeable, professional and courteous. I hope I never need an electrician again, but if I do, these guys will be my first and only call.

They were amber-looking when I told the clerk I wanted cool white. I tried to return the 4 bulbs the next day and was initially told that they don't accept returns. Unbelievable. Then I was reluctantly offered a store credit. The clerk's demeanor and arrogance were appalling. I was told that it's the owner's policy. I don't believe him. This policy is not posted anywhere, nor was I told that this was a final sale. We will never buy from this store again. There is nothing proprietary about these light bulbs, and they are readily available at a lesser price online, in Home Depot, Lowes, Ace Hardware, etc. I tried patronizing a local vendor in Thousand Oaks. They did nothing but leave a bad taste in my mouth. I guess that's what I get for trying to support local business. Never again for this store. Stay away.
