We've done 2-3 weeks every summer at the Los Altos location, and this is literally the only camp they've asked to return to every single year. What makes Imagineerz special is that it genuinely grows with the kids. It's not a camp they age out of. The program is designed for them to take on more responsibility and leadership as they get older. My girls have spent the last couple years as "leads," helping create and perform the weekly show, learning lines, designing sets, working with younger campers, and figuring out how to pull together a great show with the younger kids. Now they're simultaneously sad to leave that stage behind and also so excited to move into the next level where they'll take on more responsibility for helping the younger kids and supporting running the camp. They already talk about becoming counselors in the future! There's a real philosophy behind the camp. Kids have agency and are encouraged to be creative/bold, and trusted with meaningful responsibility for their age. The staff is also exceptional. Many return every year, including former campers who have grown up through the program, so there's a sense of community that I haven't see as much with other camps. They're fun and goofy with the kids, but also super thoughtful and attentive. We've gotten notes about small moments when one of our daughters showed kindness or leadership, which makes our girls SO proud. I especially appreciate that they notice kids as individuals and reinforce the moments when they work through challenges or help someone else. And importantly, my kids just LOVE it. There are theme days, costumes, water Wednesday, weekly performances, and silly camp traditions. After all these years and multiple weeks they still can't wait to go back. We don't have that with any other camp besides sleepaway. It's rare to find a program where you completely trust the people caring for your kids AND your kids love being there. We're five summers in, and I hope my girls are still part of this community when they're in high school. ICan 't recommend it enough (you'll get the joke if you join :) )

We signed up for 2 weeks at the Palo Alto location last year and 2 weeks at the Los Altos location this summer. There are a few things that make this camp special: among them are the really nice staff, LITs, and Junior LITs (Leaders in Training). They're often older kids who love this program so much that they return to help younger kids out with creative building from recycled materials. As an example, my son had an idea of attaching a toilet paper tube to a box, and one of the Jr LITs showed him how to cut the tube in a way to attach more securely to the box. My son really bonded with Salsa last year and looked forward to seeing him again this year. Another highlight is the play that they work on and perform on the last day. Everyone gets a chance to bring the play to life, whether it's a speaking part of working on props. My son's always had a wonderful time making his own costume in the earlier days of the camp.

Teacher Robin has been wonderful. She is incredibly patient with the kids and does a great job keeping them engaged and focused throughout the session. The progression of the class is also thoughtfully designed, starting from basic tracing and moving to learning how to color properly, stay within the lines, and color in a consistent direction. It is impressive how much the kids pick up in such a short time. We have also had a great experience with the communication and scheduling. Both the office and Robin are very responsive, and everything has been smooth and easy from the start. Overall, it has been a fantastic experience and we are very happy with the class.

The teachers provide personalized guidance and introduce new media along the way. The staff is always helpful and responsive. There is a super easy system for reporting absences and scheduling make up classes. It has been such a positive part of my kids' lives, they didn't just become more skilled artists, but also developed genuine love for art as a way to express themselves.

He was in the lowest group, which they designate with a colored bracelet. They did a terrific job, little kids were always 1:1 in the water. While the head lifeguard instructed, several counselors and junior counselors were in the water, with kids sitting on the edge waiting for their turn, kicking and splashing. The owner/operators were fabulous, such a pleasure to visit with them. They personally run the show, leading checkin, checkout, etc. Pickup and dropoff was easy and fast, no parking issues, although it was so close we could walk.

Both my children have "emerging" reading and writing skills and both have benefited greatly from this program. I have followed the curriculum closely at home and helped support them as well. It is fun, engaging and camp-like - so the kids think they are having fun learning. The end result has been that my kids are writing more fluidly in school. They feel more comfortable writing and have more confidence in their abilities. The middle school schedule is definitely more school-like than the elementary day to day, but they keep it fun with a diverse curriculum (from podcast to animatronics - other things too but I do not know them). I was also impressed with the owners (who are not local but obviously care about the students). Also, the site administrator was right on top of our (small) issues this year with line cutting and some emotional outbursts the first day or something. We first checked it out during the grand opening and were impressed by how open, bright, and thoughtfully set up the space was. It feels much more spacious and creative than other DIY spots we've visited. We've since gone back for camps and casual weekend visits, and she always finds something new she wants to make. The custom comic book and stuffie stations are especially fun and unique. The staff has also been consistently kind, patient, and helpful every time we've been there. Such a fun place for creative kids.

Tonight before bed he wanted to know how many more days till he gets to go again and if I could please add Spy Camp as well. My son had so much fun! He loved everything about the camps...and so did I. The Space Camp was very realistic, well planned out and detailed. The props and special effects were amazing. My son came home every day excited to share all of the information he had learned that day about space, astronauts and rockets. We were very impressed with how educational the camp was. Throughout the week my son was so excited to gather little souvenirs from his experiences at the Space Camp and they are still among his most prized possessions. He was thrilled with all the special props he was able to use and with the space themed crafts he made. The Sports Camp was excellent. I really appreciated that it wasn't your typical sports camp. In addition to the typical sports you might see at a camp, the Imaginif Sports Camp also included archery, golf and rock climbing. I was so impressed that every skill the camp introduced was taught by a professional. It made the experiences very worthwhile for my son. He was exhausted when I picked him up each day. He gave it his all and loved every minute of it. The camp staff were so kind and enthusiastic. You could tell that the entire camp experience was planned with a lot of thought and attention to detail. The attention given to each child was impressive as well. We are so pleased with our experience with Imaginif, we will definitely be attending again.

My 7 year old daughter and 5 year old son participated in A-mazing Race, Space Camp, and Sports Camp and loved all of them. I signed them up for this camp because I was intrigued by the concept; now that my family has experienced Imaginif, I am happy to attest that it exceeded my expectations. Several aspects set Imaginif apart for me: the professional ambience that founders Sharon & David create with creative props and costumes, the intimacy of a family-run camp and relatively small group of campers that makes for a more personal experience, and the unique enrichment activities that are offered. On the latter, my husband and I also benefited from our kids' exposure to several of the enrichment activities. For example, Sharon & David organized a post-camp activity for campers and families to go to Moffett Field to launch the Estes rockets the kids had built at Space Camp. It was an unforgettable experience that our family would never have known about if not for Imaginif. Our kids can't wait to go back to Imaginif Camp next summer!
