My latte was absolutely spot on and went down very smoothly. It was cool, so sitting outside was not a great idea and the tables inside were full of festive coffee drinkers, so I took mine to go. Otherwise, when it is quieter, the sitting area is quite eclectic in décor that can keep your interest for some time. Ogunquit for the most part is still quite a seasonal town. That being said, Backyard is one of the first retailers to close in October (usually Columbus/Indigenous Day weekend) so if you arrive after then you will be met with disappointment.

Both ice creams were really good and I'm glad the Employee put the blueberry on the bottom as "save the best for last" Both ice creams weren't overly sweet. The Blueberry had a balance natural blueberry taste without tasting too tarty. The strawberry Cheesecake had strawberry swirls AND also HUGE chunks of cheesecake pieces with the graham cracker crust which elevated the flavor! I wonder if they make their own cheesecake or use a cheesecake from a local bakery. you could get milkshakes, sundaes and add toppings to your ice cream. You can even buy coffee along with making a coffee milkshakes. Paid parking if you're visiting the area to walk the trail or shop. This place is a good addition for this area. Heads up, parking here is tough, as they only have two parking spaces for the restaurant. There is all day parking right down the street for $20, if you plan on spending the day in Ogunquit. I was surprised that they were not sweet and leaned more on the savory side because of the cream cheese. Overall, it was a great experience and I recommend this for a great Maine breakfast. Waitress was nice but accidentally overlooked me - water and coffee went first to the couple next to me who were seated after me. I had to get her attention, she apologized for forgetting the drinks and was pleasant. I walked out the door 15 minutes after she asked me if I wanted the check, so maybe 25 minutes after being served and with the feeling that I had overstayed my welcome. As a person who earns $25 an hour it's a big deal to go out for breakfast and this experience felt bad. I ordered the burrito without sausage and it was very bland; so maybe the usual seasoning didn't work without sausage. Hash browns, shredded potato style, were forgettable...not raw but also not especially well cooked or seasoned. Syscoesque guacamole, sourcream,pico on the side. They were both very good: large portions, very creamy and no ice crystals. I am becoming suspicious though that several of the ice cream places in Ogunquit and Wells are all using the same supplier.
