I am often referred as "one of America's funnest customers", a reputation I work very hard to keep. I met my match at Bald Hill Kia. We were greeted by what would turn out to be "one of America's best sales people", Erika. She was extremely knowledgeable about the product, and was not pushy at all. She let us take our time, and compare models, and all the while explaining the pros and cons of each vehicle. After our test drive, I mulled over the decision for a few days. Upon my return Erika could not have been more helpful. A cheerful, honest sales person, that is also very helpful. This was a great experience, I do not have a single negative thing to say. Bad service experience. The service itself was fine (oil change/tire rotation) but the price just kept changing. An advertised $114 service was full of "suggested" markups for no apparent reason and then at pickup the $114 somehow became $148. They claimed "their prices changed" which was BS as it was only a day before. They also get you for a 2% credit card fee. The transaction felt dishonest and predatory. read more

Tyler helped me through getting a car and adjusting payments to my budget and also ensured I was in a very good quality car. Fast forward to me being in an accident, the car saved me from further damage. This only made me trust him and them more. I DO NOT RECOMMEND BALD HILL KIA I'm going to start off by saying I've purchased a 2020 bmw 2 series towards the end of October. Very love mileage, Immediately I started having issues with my right back tire. I came in they said it's " how foreign cars are " cleared " it and it came back on along with the break light this time. Come to find out my entire rotors and brakes needed to be completely replaced along with the sensor. They said we'll call you when all the parts come in we'll call you back to come get it fixed ( I needed the vehicle due to having children and multiple appointments) weeks go by and no call so I finally called and they said oh yes we have the parts just waiting on the sensor to come in. Cool, we set up a day I can come in by that day my engine light came on while at the service desk I go can you check the engine light to see why this is on. They call me back tell me car is all set one girl states your brakes and rotors are all set they didn't mention the engine light I go so whats going on with the engine she goes " oh there's a leak somewhere in the vehicle but we do not have a fog machine to be able to do the test to see where the leak is " I go then explain to her I do not want the car back I just purchased the vehicle I SHOULDNT be going through all these issues I told her while I have the rental send it over to BMW to get the fog test done. Then fix it. She goes okay let me talk to my manger I'll call you back within seconds the service manger is calling oh no your car is fine it was just the gas cap. Not even a few days later MY ENGINE LIGHT IS ON AGAIN ( because they cleared it to cover it up ) I took it to to get the code pulled and guess what ?! There's a leak somewhere in the car. So now Kia has lied to my face twice. And instead of taken accountability for selling me a car that one ( never got fully inspected and two for selling me a car that has multiple issues) the sales manger the short bald one decided to give me attitude and telling me " well isn't that whats a warranty is for " EXCUSE ME SIR? NOBODY WHO JUST BUY'S A CAR SHOULD BE IN AND OUT OF SERVICE GETTING FIXED. Oh and then the girl who commented back on my review " in her favor we took car of the deductible " it's almost like your TRYING to act like your doing me a favor for fixing a car that SHOULDN'T HAVE PROBLEMS A MONTH AND HALF AFTER PURCHASING !!!!!! I have the documentation. I have witness of my mom and my fiancé when I went into the dealership. This is unacceptable and absolutely uncalled for specially from a reputable dealership. I also want to mention is why sell foreign cars if you don't have the correct tools to begin with to fix the cars. Then turn it around and blame me for selling me a problem car. They will do anything to justify making it right. As of 12/18/2025 The owner BOB has finally reached out. When I tell you the disrespect that came from him is uncalled for. He states he cares and understands and that's why they are fixing it. UM NO SIR you aren't fixing it BMW is going to fix it. He also ADMITTED THAT WHOEVER WENT THROUGH THE VEHICLE BEFORE PUTTING AN INSPECTION STICKER ON IT DID NOT GO THROUGH THE VEHICLE that I have a deductible to cover the maintenance work. He then proceeded to switch his story how he would never let their company put a vehicle on a road like that. Well you did and they still aren't taking accountability. I also wanted to add that they have bribed me to take down my post off yelp, google, and Facebook review. ( I have proof ) And the end of the day nobody should ever have to purchase a vehicle off a dealership and immediately have none stop issues. And pretend like they are doing me a favor " fixing it " when they aren't doing anything I'm the one who has to switch my entire schedule, appointments, daycare/ school care, picking up and drop offs to get a car I just got fixed. I've always brought my cars to their dealerships wherever across the country. Bald Hill Kia has been a real disappointment. It was "discovered" that I had rotting around the rims off ALL my tires and should be replaced to the tune of $800+. I didn't do it. Got home and looked as I knew one of them was a year old. Sure enough, I found some minor cracking on only 2 of the tires. I also had some sound of metal rubbing near my front tire as I turned. They did an adjustment, not sure what it was, but now it is worse! read more

I have been a loyal customer for years, but after my recent service call, I have to reevaluate if I will ever return. Since I purchased the vehicle 5 years ago, the hood release latch in the passenger compartment was broken, from day 1, the handle falls off. I have asked repeatedly to have this fixed, was told multiple times it was, yet the handle continues to fall off. well A day ago I dropped my car off again due to the battery being dead and it needed to be replaced as it was over 5 years old. I told the person at the desk the battery was ancient, and I wanted it replaced, the handle STILL falls off and was very clear this has been an issue for 5 years and I wanted it fixed, and the vehicle missed the last scheduled service and I wanted that done as well. So I get a call and their "tech", and I use the term loosely tries to tell me my car won't start because of a light on the front of the hood. Not that the battery is dead and the car has sat for 6 months in a lot and never started (I was recovering from surgery), nope, it was because of a hood light. Then they try to charge me $500 to replace the latch on the front hood, because the person at the desk said I claimed it would not close. First, I never said that, I told her the handle to open it in the passenger compartment falls off. After calling and leaving messages multiple times, I finally was able to speak to someone and explained the issue. Now their "tech" claimed that the hood latch is sticking but he thinks it will work now that he oiled it. Never mind I just opened the hood to jump start it when I brought it down and the hood latch was just fine and has never given me a single issue since I owned the car. Now their tech tried to say again that the issue with the hood latch, which is working just fine, is the light and he wants to remove it. So summery, I bring the car for a new battery, fix the handle falling off that has been bad since day one, and have the scheduled service done. They "think" the battery may be bad, scheduled service NOT done, and they try to charge me $500 to fix something that is not broken, that I did not ask them to look at and ignore what I DID ask them to look at. Oh, and it's going to take them a week to fix the handle that has been broken for 5 years that I have repeatedly asked them to fix, they claimed they fixed, but is still broken. I had asked to speak to a manager and left her voicemail, but I was told she is "too busy" to return my call. read more

They passed on the previous owners problems to me. They kept giving me the run around about the car. I wanted to test drive the vehicle but it was never available for me to do so. Had 2 recalls on my car and brought it in. Was able to call and make an appointment for the same week, came in and they got it in and done quickly. They did a complimentary inspection and gave me the results and offered add-ons if I wanted them to take action with anything. I went in with an appointment to test drive a new EV6 this dealership had on the lot. I sat down with a salesman and, after taking a copy of my license, he told me that I could only test drive the car around the parking lot... Huh? Naturally surprised, I insisted I needed to try it out on the highway to get a full feel for the car. Who would be content with a 5mph crawl around a small parking lot? The salesman went to the general manager while I waited for a few minutes. He then returned with the general manager who sat down next to me and explained that they don't want to put miles on the car, that it's too expensive and special, and I could only test drive it for real if I first signed a purchase agreement! Uhhhhh, what? Completely ridiculous, and yet the general manager insisted that this is a very normal practice. I've been to many dealerships in my time, being a car and EV enthusiast, and test-driven cars from BMW, Tesla, Porsche, and Mercedes as I'm looking for a new car and this is absolutely NOT a normal practice. To boot, those dealerships/showrooms have far more valuable cars for test drive at those places. I even was able to test drive a Lucid Air at the Lucid showroom in Boston, and they had no strange requirements thrown at me. That car is over 3 times as expensive as the EV6 they had in this lot. Typical crappy dealership practice that makes no logical sense and nets them nothing and made them lose a customer. Brought my Kia in for its 16000 mile maintenance (oil change, air filters etc.) got a text in the waiting room saying something needed my attention. They added a suggested line item of an A/c unit cleaning for 149.99 because the air smelt "musty" to them. Explain to me how a new car has a musty smell coming from in at 16000 miles? There was/is no musty smell. No one ever spoke to me about it after I declined service, felt like they were just adding BS line items to drive up my bill. I went in to buy my Telluride at the end of my lease. The salesperson gave me a buy-out figure more than $5000 above what is in the lease agreement. It was not state taxes; both figures excluded taxes. I think they just thought I was too dumb to read my lease contract. I pointed this out to the sales manager and general manager of the entire dealership. They told me to come back in. I asked ahesd of time for a different sales person. I got the same one. He gave me a figure $3000 above and told me I needed a vehicle inspection (not true if you are buying the vehicle), a detailed cleaning and other assorted fees. They absolutely insulted my intelligence. I felt dirty walking out. I bought the vehicle directly from Kia Finajce for the exact amount in my lease. I would drive 500 miles to another dealer if necessary. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Great cars, horrible dealership. read more

I've had so many bad experiences with this dealership. From the day I picked up my lease to present. Car came with swirls in the paint and b pillars. Mentioned it to the salesman, so he had the Detailer come out and see if he could buff them out. While the detailer was buffing them out with a microfiber cloth, he dropped the cloth on the concrete. Picked it up, and continued to "buff out the swirls". I was made out to me the jerk from all people involved. Most recently went in for a recall (side curtain airbags) Also a oil change while I was there. 12K miles on the car. They tried to sell me on $400 worth of things that I didn't need. Driving home I notice my A pillar wiggling, and the weather stripping falling down on my passenger side as well as the roof liner sticking out rather than being tucked in. I recommend buying a different kind of vehicle other than a Kia, you will never walk out of there happy. read more

Everyone was very friendly. We contracted most of the deal over the phone the day before going since it was a two hour trip. When we got there the paperwork was basically completed by the sales person. He was really cool very professional and friendly. We were drill there for nearly 4 1/2 hours waiting for financing to be completed. Thing is, credit wasn't the issue. It just took them a long time to process the sale. I purchased a 2020 off lease 38,000 mile Kia Telluride front wheel drive in Florida way back in February 2023 for the reduced price from 48k to $38,000 with a trade in of my 2007 LexusGX 470 (95k miles) $10,000. I tried to upgrade to the EV6 ; so an appraisal was done by the most uninterested auto appraiser that had other things on his mind or had met me in a Previous life ! 20,000 miles and a stone chip the size of my first pimple as a ding ( have to look hard to see it ) His trade offer with me purchasing a new $43k EV6 was $27k ! My great Telluride dropped $48k to $27k in 5 months !!! Reason, it was front wheel drive . I asked what was the price compared to an all wheel drive . He replied '' I don't know " ! I turned around and walked out . Aron the service bloke was excellent and Alexis the sales girl was great and very helpful ( feel bad for her ) What amazed me over all this lack of professionalism by Mr appraiser was a question I asked ; why my passenger front airbag light was always on for my 22,000 miles of driving 3 times round trip to Florida ? ANSWER ... If you have a passenger weighing under 110lbs sitting in the front passenger side ... THE AIRBAG WILL NOT ENGAGE !!!!! Are you kidding ??? Zero stars is the appropriate rating. I leased a 2018 Sorento because I wanted the option to buy after the lease was up. A couple of months (less than 2,000 miles) into my lease, the Sorento began leaking oil. It took this dealership four tries to fix it. When I spoke to the owner Bob about getting me another vehicle, he told me to call the corporate number because he 'was not going to eat' the cost of getting me into a new lease. The corporate lady was almost as bad as Bob and referred me back to the dealership. I turned the car in because there was no way I was going to purchase something with that service history. This dealership took all my options off the table. From the careless, greedy owner to the incompetent service staff (Jeff was great), it was eye-opening how poorly everyone in this place performed. There are other Kia dealerships in Rhode Island and other affordable options. I'm sure some faceless person will respond to this. I welcome that. To this day, April 12, 2022, I am unable to get the sales manager or owner of Bald Hill Kia Warwick to provide answers to simple questions I have relating to the calculations for the lease payment and purchase numbers I was given. Therefore, there is no way to know the details of the purchase or lease numbers. I don't know if assumptions or mistakes were made. (note, I didn't say there are mistakes...but how would I know?) The lack of response and transparency...and pushback I get for ASKING is insane. ________ PLEASE, make sure you do this if you happen to stumble on Bald Hill Kia Warwick... 1. Get everything in writing. 2. Insist on fully understanding the lease and purchase calculations. Get that information directly (face to face) from the sales manager, NOT the salesperson. 3. Do not let the salesperson stop you from communicating directly with the finance department or sales manager BEFORE you agree to anything. 4. Contact at least one other dealership to verify the lease or purchase numbers you were given at Bald Hill Kia Warwick is within an acceptable range. 5. If you ask questions, get ready for the salesman to say "Let me explain how it's done here"...and/or..."you can't look at the calculations because nothing is negotiable." (that's why you do #4). 6. READ THE ENTIRE REVIEW- My brother is a big fan of Bald Hill Dodge Chrysler and Jeep Ram. He speaks very highly of them, so it's no surprise that he took me here when I asked him to help me look for a car. He saw an SUV that he liked, sent me a picture of the car and I automatically fell in love with the car, but it was out of my price range. We went to the dealership to take a look at it on Tuesday, January 10th and I purchased the SUV on that same day. David Connett was my salesman, and Chris (not sure what his last name is) did all of my paperwork. They were both amazing, and I would recommend David to anyone who decides to do business with them. He was kind, knowledgeable and patient because I literally spent more than six hours at the dealership. As I was waiting for my paperwork, I mentioned something to Dave about the car brakes making noise and something about my tire pressure light. Dave went into my car with me and gave me a little tour of what every button does in the car. I was beyond happy with their service. Now lets fast forward to the following week. One of the main reasons why I got this car was because of the backup camera right... Tell me why I left the lot not noticing that the backup camera was messed up. I always drove small cars so having the backup camera in this SUV was one of the main reasons why I got it. Anyways, I went back to the dealership to tell them about my brakes, tire pressure light, and this backup camera issue but couldn't see Dave because he was helping a customer. The kind receptionist told me that Dave said for me to go to the Bald Hill Kia Service building that's right next door to the dealership. Lynus was my service advisor (He's a nice gentleman). He took a look at everything and told me to make an appointment so a tech can take a look at my car. I went to the Bald Hill Kia Service Department that following Saturday and the tech took a look at my car. I noticed my windshield wipers were trash, so I purchased new ones while they inspected my car. The wipers came up to $21.27, and the labor was free! They have a nice waiting area with complimentary coffee, tea, and hot cocoa. They also have free wifi and lots of magazines for you to look at before they give you sad news. Lynus told me that the tech found condensation which is what caused the cloudiness in my camera. The camera would have to be replaced. Lynus said, "I don't think you should have any issues because you just purchased the car, but I do need to ask my manager because I can't order the part without his okay." I still wasn't worried because I'm thinking, why wouldn't he replace it if I just purchased the car. Welp, I was wrong. I am still driving around with a backup camera that does NOT work. Apparently, it wasn't a "safety" issue, so the manager doesn't want to cover it. I guess me not being able to see when I'm backing up is not a safety issue. All I can say is, stay away from doing business with greedy people. I just spent thousands of dollars on a car at your dealership, and you can't replace my backup camera? Very disappointing! I' upset at myself for not noticing the backup camera was no good. It's also weird how my airbag lights came on weeks after I purchased the car. Lesson learned, though. Bring your car to AutoZone before purchasing a car from this dealership. My sister just purchased a Kia Optima from these guys like 3 months ago, and she's loving it. Again, she still has warranty on her car right now. I will not recommend anyone to this dealership service department unless you're getting a new car with a warranty. read more

I wish I could give lass than one star. We scheduled an appointment to purchase a used car. When we arrived at the scheduled time there was no one to help us and the car was not ready to view. Denise Levine was extremely helpful and apologetic. We were able to see the car, but they would not let us test drive it. They stated that the parts were on order and they would call us when it was ready. Sadly, we left without the car we waited so long to find. It was a three-hour drive by the way. I continued to attempt to contact the dealership, mostly speaking with Mary Osmanski. She seemed helpful at first but would not take a $500 deposit on the car. When we got a call the car was ready, I again attempted to place a $500 deposit on the vehicle. They sold the vehicle that day and we were kicked to the curb like trash. absolutely do not spend your time or money here. incompetent sales team, lazy and downright awful techs. the salesman, Peter D., was so worried about getting home when finalizing my sale, he forgot to give me my license back. I had an issue with the vehicle about a week after I bought it, so brought it in to be checked out. i was told i needed all new brake pads and rotors, as they tried to charge me another $1000, because Mike, their used car service lead, just didn't want to do the brakes before the sale. Mike would also not come speak to me when I was asking about the brakes. I now have the paperwork that notes they knew about this before I bought the vehicle and were just too lazy to put like $300 worth of work on a car im overpaying for as it is. the salesman never told me about the ecoboost feature of the car and when I tried to call about getting some help because the car was shutting off on me, I got the run around and then ignored and still have not gotten any response. it's been about a week. overall, just inconceivably terrible. please check out some of the smaller places in the state if you're looking. Loved the commercial of Bob, who I think is the owner of this place and their Kia joint. Total hippie guy who doesn't make you think "car dealer". My experience was just as polite. No pushiness, just genuine interest in what kind of car would suit our grandmother for Christmas. Not sure the whole "leave the lot and wait for a call" method works here. Their prices were lower than we found anywhere else and we didn't feel pressured uncomfortably at any time. Good old fashioned service and super happy to recommend these guys. read more

Brought my 2017 Niro in for just oil change. Price was $80 but I had a coupon for $20 off. Told me it was due for a tire rotation and would be $120. I said no just the oil change. By the time I sat in the waiting area they had texted my since the car was in her name. Now it needed a 4 wheel alignment, air filter and cabin filter $520 in all. She refused. I had changed both filters less than a thousand miles before and the tires were all wearing evenly. 2 weeks before them sent us an eye offering $15300 for the car towards a trade in sight unseen. I asked them while I was there for a straight purchase price. A car with no dents, scratches or even wear marks that had just been detailed was listed as fair condition. They had to acknowledge the low mileage, 38000 on a 6 year car. They rounded it up to $14000. Paid for the oil change, $72 after coupon and them adding taxes and fees back in. My wife's Infiniti cost half that. We will sell the car to anyone else and never buy from them or Kia again. read more

And you can sign up for there mailing and today I'm getting my Sorrento's oil changed for 19.95! They have very friendly staff in the front to greet you and get you all checked it! They have a nice comfortable waiting room with a large screen TV and complimentary coffee and tea! By the time I just about get comfy with watching TV and my cup of Jo.. there calling me for my car! I brought my car as I had a service light that was on. I also asked to purchase a new key fob. I was called and told that I needed some side links and and oil and filter change. Our experience at this dealership has always been outstanding and that is why we recently purchased our 6th car, a 2018 Kia Sorento. This vehicle has been difficult to find since it comes with high ratings and I was pleasantly surprised what the certified price was especially since it included features above the trim level. How can I say I experienced better- they went head to head with us as we attempted to negotiate a reasonable package for a new vehicle. I always enjoy the psychology behind these experiences. The sales person makes this noble attempt to try to relate to you as a customer- brings out the pictures of the kids, tries to find common ground. At the end of the day- the trick is to walk out- no matter what this sales person's "manager" is promising- just walk out. I was hesitant at first but true to my husband's word- the sales person came chasing after us to ensure he had our phone number....just in case there was anything he could do....now...we wait. This place put up a good fight but we are detemrined to find a reasonable deal. Game on! read more

my fiancé and i purchased a car here last year on the 23rd of September. we drove from there to the city and after 17 miles the check engine and high temperature lights came on and the vehicle, a 2017 Nissan Juke with 50k miles on it went into "limp mode" we brought the vehicle back and they put us into a rental. less than a week later we get the juke back and drive it off the lot. less than 10 miles of driving and the check engine light and temperature light were on again. we drove down there and the sales manager ricardo told us to "drive it around for 100-150 miles and see what happens" i refused to do that so they took the car in and gave us another rental a massive gas guzzling boat of a Dodge Grand Caravan. this happened one more time and since September 23rd we have not had possession of the vehicle we purchased for more than 5 hours. my fiancé accidentally scrapped a metal fence in the second of 3 rentals. she has no at fault accidents on her record and if we were given a working vehicle instead of a massive boat that is difficult to maneuver we neve would have scrapped the side of the fence. now progressive is attempting to not pay the claim and bald hill is refusing to give us a car that we have paid for and are making payments on untill we resolve the insurance claim. bottom line is they sold us a lemon and have given us the run around for months blaming supply chain shortages and labor shortages for what is in fact a lemon vehicle that had issues before we even drove it off of the lot. I would urge anyone looking to purchase a new or used vehicle to do their research and go elsewhere. i thought that a multi million dollar car dealership would have a sense of wrong and right but unfortunately it's all about money and after over 100 days of our car being stuck in multiple garages without any explanation of what is actually wrong with the car we are sent up shits creek without a paddle. We were told the car was ready to pick up yesterday a little after noon, we did not recieve that text till late at night. we woke up this morning to discover the rental we were in had been repossessed Not even 24 hours from the time we were informed our vehicle was ready for pick up. unfortunately almost everyone we have dealt with in this business epitomizes the cliched image of a sketchy and dishonest used car salesman. we have given them more than an adequate amount of time to rectify the situation but they insist on making our lives a living nightmare.
