The owner is very nice as is the young man who stocks the shelves (I am sure he does other things too...). I was advised that I can call one day ahead and get fresh meat and if I purchase in arrival the meat will be frozen. Good to know!

The proprietor is particularly helpful and friendly and brings in all the good henna brands. I usually stock up and send out to friends. Friendliness by the store owner, a great stock of foods that make any Indian/Pakistani go "Aaaaah", and the henna are what keep me coming back here.

This used to be one of my regular purchases, but over the past few months the rice has frequently been undercooked and hard, with a texture that feels almost like partially raw grains. The kimbap is now noticeably too firm and no longer has the soft, properly cooked consistency it previously had. This is not an isolated incident and it has happened multiple times, which suggests an ongoing issue in preparation or quality control. Even my mom, who used to really enjoy this kimbap, can no longer eat it because it has become too hard to chew, and she has stopped buying it completely. This decline in quality is very disappointing, and I sincerely hope management reviews the preparation process and makes the necessary corrections.
