This Lotte supermarket is located off of Muddy Branch, and their food court is pretty popular with the locals. In terms of groceries, they have your usual - produce, imported items, meats/seafood, and snacks. There are some deals that happen from time to time, but prices seem pretty comparable to other markets. Plenty of parking in the large plaza lot. +popular food court located inside

    New food court!

They had a recent small food court put in the front. I ordered the Korean beef rib soup and black bean noodles. The meals came with sides of kimchi and pickles. It was absolutely delicious. They also have a sushi stand that looks pretty fresh and tasty. I love that you can have lunch right after food shopping! The food court also provided super delicious filtered water. I cannot stand Maryland's tap water taste.

We visit Lotte every few months to pick up some treats, and have recently noticed a nice refresh of the store, to include an expanded in-store cafeteria offering. We ordered from 2 outlets - from one we got kimchi Kimbao and hot stone Bibimbap and from the other we got Korean Fried Chicken and a side of rice. Both orders came with little extras, but i particularly liked the chicken. It was fresh and crisp, served with japchae on the side. We ordered a medium spicy sauce that was entirely devoid of spice but was tasty, and a soy ginger sauce that was also very good. The kimbap was just okay and the Bibimbap was an overall generous serving, but lacked enough meat and was not exceptionally flavorful. It would have benefited from yum yum sauce. The quality of all of the food was good, but it was a bit pricey. The store itself is clean and well-stocked. The vegetables, previously a little iffy in quality, seem yo have improved over time. There is a wide selection of food from various countries and regions of the world. There is always something new to try at this store. We always enjoy a visit.

Talk about the selection of soy sauce? I am in soy sauce heaven.

Do you know how many different types of soy sauce there are? I didn't and to tell the truth I was surprised. So, where do you go to find a wide selection of soy sauces? I discovered a huge wall of soy sauces, when I was shopping at Lotte Market. I went into the store for Korean fried chicken and wandered around for 15 minutes, waiting for my wings. I loved the fresh seafood section. They literally have fish swimming in tanks that you can pick out and buy. That is unbelievably fresh. They have a large selection of hard to find fruits, such as dragon fruit and jack fruit. Note to myself, I need to find out how to choose a ripe jack fruit? The meat selection was well stocked and the meat looked good. Next time, I am there I want to buy short ribs. They looked great! I can't speak to the prices, but I definitely enjoyed the variety of products. So, next time I make my fried rice, that uses 3 types of soy sauce, I know where to go to find them in stock. And, I can get wings and sushi on my way out. A win- win for Lotte Market.

I bought one honeydew but got charged for two. I called and was asked to go back in person with the receipt so they can check the camera! All they needed was the invoice number but they refused to take it on the phone. Anyway, I am not going back for a $2.99 refund but it's not right to just ignore it either. So my invoice number is 00141726 the Lotte management please go check and don't overcharged other people please!

    Halal chicken!

Lotte is great! Grand Mart was bought out by Lotte and for the most part, they layout of the store is the same, which is great. Unsure if it's jut me, but I think the store now offers more Oriental snack foods. Lots of different types of Ramen :) Lotte also sells halal chicken and goat! It's well-priced :).

I love this super market! My family and I have been coming here for years now, when it was called Grandmart. They carry a wide variety of fruits and vegetables at a reasonable prices. Recently I have noticed that they've added new products from different countries such as Iran, India, El Salvador and of course other Asian countries. I was very surprised to see Iranian products, from the Sadaf company here. It's always an adventure going here because there are so many different types of new goodies to try. Be aware though, it always smells like a fish market since they sell fresh fish towards the back of the store.

The sauce over the noodles was not prepared afresh. The potato/onion bits in the sauces were mushy/soggy.

Easy to navigate, products are labeled appropriately. People were friendly and helpful from the floor to the check out. Nice place.

As the name suggests, there are specialty food items from all over Europe. While I saw some things like English teas, German cookies, and a few Greek items, it seemed like the majority of the offerings were from Eastern Europe. I think over half of the products had labels in Cyrillic alphabet with no translation on them in any fashion, so some things you just gotta know what it is or ask the staff. I saw a lot of things from Georgia and Ukraine, but I think I saw other products from that region (Russian, Lithuanian, Macedonian, etc.). The staff were very friendly, and cheerfully assisted me with some of the pastries we purchased. One had a nice balance of flaky pastry and fruit filling while the blintzes seemed a bit underwhelming. I also picked up a bottle of dessert wine and Children #1 and #2 picked out some candies that caught their eye. The inside is clean and somewhat small but easy to navigate. There is music playing (I don't know what language; I want to say Russian but in today's climate that could be a charged statement. Just want to say it positively adds to the vibe). Worth checking out, if you want to explore a product you might not otherwise be exposed to or if you want to find a specialty European item that you've been missing.

Some were good, others were just okay. Here is what I got: CHINESE BROCCOLI - some were long, and others seemed like they were already cut short. I don't know if that is how it is normally sold. Goya PLANTAIN CHIPS - the chips were light overall, but slightly salty. I still enjoyed it. 80% COCONUT WATER WITH PULP - I enjoyed this, but I am not sure I would get it again. I couldn't find a brand on the can and some of the wording said to chill before drinking, but yet it was stocked on a shelf. I may just stick to a brand I know, next time. I also got another juice - Mogu Mogu LYCHEE JUICE with bits of the fruit in the drink, but found that the lychee bits were going down my throat quicker than I had a chance to eat them (not sure I'll get that again even though I enjoyed the drink). BUTTER CREAM BREAD - even though I liked this, it was not as soft. I got one or two other items, but I'll probably get them elsewhere next time due to the high price. Overall, I saw so many flavors and varieties of things. The place stayed busy. I would probably go back again, but with the same friend, and maybe pay more attention to details.
