There was a brief period when some of the masseuses didn't quite understand the specifics of what I was asking for, but on my most recent visit, I had a new masseuse who completely nailed it. The massage was exactly what I needed--firm, focused, and very effective. The owner, Keany, is always courteous and helpful, making sure every visit is smooth and welcoming. I went in on a random Thursday afternoon she was available and we did cupping I did that around 5 pm. I went home and it's 10 pm and I noticed something.... Hey my right side of my neck and shoulder are not hurting anymore I don't feel like I have to constantly massage or rub it or stretch it out. I seriously think the cupping really helped relieve the tension in my right shoulder and neck. When she did the cupping she took a picture of my back and showed me the darkest spot is my right shoulder and that's exactly where I had the tension and pain. Thank you so much! She is truly in tune with your whole body. I highly recommend an hour or an hour and a half full body massage. The spa is exceptionally clean, & relaxing. The massage beds are the most comfortable ones I've ever been on. I find that a lot of massage therapists usually skip over the butt. Or do over the sheet pressing action. For me, a butt massage is the best part, it is an extension of your back. And I want the full experience lol Tina will give you the best experience. She is a master in Chinese medicine! I have been a client at The Remedy for close to two years. I have had repeated testing there and also with my PCP and they were unable to find some issues I was having. (Not downplaying my Remedy experience--they're wonderful) But, in one visit with Tina she found a major issue that was going on with me. Holly explained what to expect and had me lay on a heated crystal (or salt?) mat, it was cozy! Her presence was incredibly calming and the experience felt like a very deep meditation. Usually I have a male massage me, and they tend to be super heavy handed, just the way I like it. There was a massage I got once that I felt was on the really light side on the foot part, but once we got to my hips and glutes, definitely didn't know I had some tightness there. As for tipping, I haven't really experienced issues myself, but I did hear them kinda judge on tips when the customer was gone in Chinese. Mainly asking how much she got and said the number. I would say it's better than getting a pedicure, so I much rather spend $55 on a foot massage (cash price in June 2026) than a pedicure.
