I'm someone who gets massages regularly and would consider myself pretty experienced when it comes to different techniques. Based on the reviews and TikToks I saw, this seemed like a must-try spot. I first booked the 90-minute signature massage, and honestly, it was pretty horrible. I decided to give it another chance and went back to try their lymphatic massage, hoping the first experience was just a fluke. Unfortunately, it was just as bad and honestly a bit strange. For context, I get lymphatic massages at other studios fairly regularly, and the technique here didn't seem accurate at all. It genuinely felt like they didn't understand the actual lymphatic drainage technique and was again weird.... After two visits and two disappointing experiences, I will not be coming back. I booked my appointment online for a 60-minute Signature Massage ($75) with Jenny Z, and the process was super easy. The spa itself is really nice, clean, calm, and welcoming. The staff was friendly and made me feel comfortable right away. Jenny was fantastic! She listened to what I needed and did such a great job customizing the massage. I added cupping and CBD oil (both $25 each), and it was totally worth it- I left feeling relaxed and refreshed. First time coming here. Wasn't sure what to expect, but had a nice experience from check-in to massage to leaving. I got a 90 minute combo massage. I wish the masseuse had spent more time on the feet, but I was happy with everything overall. What was strange to me was that I didn't meet the masseuse until I was on the massage table and wasn't asked any particulars, so I started the short conversation. The masseuse was good in staying away from particular areas and making sure I was fine throughout. Afterwards, I didn't feel rushed as I made my way to the lobby. Woke up Sunday morning and felt very stiff - decided it's been too long since I got a massage so started looking on Yelp to see options. First realization, not many spots are open on a Sunday, second the ones that are, are already booked out and/or have limited hours. I came across Tranquility Spa and figured it was worth the drive. It was easy to make an appointment online using the link on their profile. Note, you have to pay when making the appointment. I went with the 60 minute massage. Got there and parking was ample as it is part of a large shopping complex. Check in was easy, and I was given a form to fill out on which areas I wanted my massage to focus on which I appreciated. I was then led to a quiet room for the massage. The massage itself was decent. It felt like the first 10 minutes was her over the sheet figuring out where my tough spots were. She used her elbow a lot and I asked her a few times to lessen her pressure. Especially on the arch of my lower back which was a bit painful. Other than that, I did feel relaxed afterwards. When checking out, they ask for a tip and give you a bottle of water. Given the price, would come back. read more

Mercy felt my back and shoulders were super tight and so she focused on that. The pressure was perfect and most definitely be coming back again. The spa is in a large strip mall and parking is shared with many businesses. The spa is tastefully decorated in the reception areas and the environment is calm and relaxing. The spa and bathrooms were clean. Front desk: The guy working the front desk is an odd fit. After our massages my friend had returned to the reception area to relax and wait for me. After my massage I joined her and gave a tip to my masseuse (Carrie) who was waiting there for me with a cool bottle of water. After tipping and thanking her I walked towards my girl and the guy yelled out to me, "did you want to leave a tip for the other masseuse?" Ok. I did pay for both massages before my friend arrived as a birthday present for her however tips are OPTIONAL. And, I tipped MY masseuse (who was the only masseuse present in the front at the time). However I turned to my girl and asked if she had tipped her masseuse? She said yes. But I thought it rude of him to suppose the other masseuse hadn't been tipped, to yell out asking me as I walked away if "I" wanted to tip my girlfriend's masseuse, and to passively aggressively suggest it was not only expected but required. I'm glad we were the only ones present in the reception area at the time because he made an otherwise decent experience embarrassing and awkward. The massages: We both liked our massages, the stretching technique used, the heated tables, and calm spa music. Carrie asked if I preferred hard or medium pressure to which I replied I like the Swedish style. She was a little rough at first but did start to relax my body. She didn't ask if I had areas of concern or if I was experiencing any pain. I thought she might - that's what I'm used to - but since she didn't and this was my first visit I gave her free reign. Her English was limited also so I just went with it. Next day I had some back pain. It may have been the massage or laying on my stomach the entire 90 mins (except the last 5 minutes when she had me turn over and she massaged the front of my body). I'm not sure if she forgot to do the front or if that was just her technique. I had to ask her to remove the pillow under my knees so I could turn over. Then I requested she put it back under my knees during the frontal massage. After finishing she left the pillow there and walked out so now I'm trying to get up with this pillow under my knees. Lol. So the last 5 minutes were not as pleasant and felt awkward - even rushed. The first 20 minutes or so of the massage she massaged my body through the sheet and blanket which I found odd but my girl said the same happened to her so I guess that's another technique used here. It wasn't bad - just different. Hot stones: During the massage the hot stones were placed on my back and in my hands where they stayed while she massaged my body with her hands, elbows, etc. Then for about 3 minutes she rubbed them on my body. All in all it wasn't a bad massage just different and she made (seemingly) rookie mistakes. I would go again and try a different masseuse. Hopefully the feedback helps staff improve and set the stage for a 5 star experience next time. read more

This place has potential, but is still figuring it out. I've now had 2, maybe 3 prenatal massages here. It's right down the street, so the convenience factor is what brought me back and I wanted to hope they would figure it out by the third time, since I know they are a newer establishment. Let's start by saying I fill out the paperwork each time for focus spots, but never get asked about my focus areas by my massage therapist before starting. So does the paperwork get reviewed at all or just checking a box? It feels very rushed and frantic each time I'm there. Granted I do book usually day of or day before but two times, the massage therapist comes into the room what seems like sprinting from another service. No offer to sit in waiting room with a robe or have any water while you wait. Each time I'm taken to my massage room, the bedding is cold and there haven't been pillows for my head. They always bring in a pillow once starting the service, but it takes away from the experience of walking into the massage room feeling like it was prepared for you. Lastly, as you pay, the massage therapist is standing right by the receptionist as they ask you if you'd like to tip and how much. Of course I have always leave a tip, but it's a little awkward to have it be asked right in front of the massage therapist. My advice: - offer water as you wait - have massage therapist ask about focus areas as they enter the room - before receptionist takes you back to the room, have him make sure the room is ready (inviting with a pillow and/ or bed warmer if applicable) While the price isn't insane, I don't think the price matches the quality of what you get and the experience. Came here for a 30 min scalp massage = $60 + 10 tip, and it was amazing. The customer service is a bit disorganized, however the excellent massage, new and clean facilities more than made up for the small hiccup. Reasonably priced and they do take SpaFinder gift cards--although only certain ones. Will definitely be back to do it again. Note: the scalp massage is a "dry" one -- they literally just massage your scalp, it is NOT where they analyze your scalp and wash your hair. read more

Front desk person had frenetic energy. Not really relaxing but very polite and nice. And even though I wanted the Swedish, I got a lot of elbo work over sheets to my pressure points. Felt more like intense reflexology than relaxing Swedish strokes on my muscles. Part of me wasn't sure the person was licensed or knew what I wanted. A little over half way through I did get what felt like 15 minutes of actual oil and skin to skin contact on my back. But too little for what I was supposed to be getting. It's the next day and although my body is possibly a little more loose, I feel more sore than relaxed and will probobly go somewhere else next time to get what I personally need. They were very nice though and I do hope they can improve in the future. If you're local and need to book something on short notice, they can probably accommodate you for $75 bucks in 2025 read more
