The only issues I had were a grouchy starter trying to hustle my group along even though we end up stuck waiting towards the end and the clubhouse telling me the wrong pin position. Ball washers are available on every hole and there are porta-potties every 2-3 holes. Unfortunately they weren't running beverage cart service and there's no water refill on course. I enjoyed playing here and lost a few balls but found some others. It's wide open and straight forward but not too cramped where you get balls from other holes flying at you. I'd come back.

There are some good holes that require teeing off with less than driver. The course was in quite good condition throughout. Cart GPS is subpar as it won't let you click to see distance to a certain point but is otherwise accurate for total distance and yardage to front/middle/back of the green. Snacks are reasonably priced and I like the availability of deli sandwiches instead of just hot dogs. Ball washers on every hole and a couple water stations and porta-potties so you never feel like you're never going to see services again.

I played an excellent round, however I am certain it would have been better if it weren't for the terrible terrible management of this course. I started playing the north course with a mate I haven't seen in years. 1st hole, I'm about to pitch into the green, but wait, where is the flag? Ahhhhh grounds keeper forgot to put it in. Second hole. same situation for birdie. Grounds keeper is rolling the greens in his cart, sees my mate and I, drives off, oh and guess what? NO FLAG IN THE HOLE!!!!! Hole #3, I won't even say anything, because you could probably guess where the flag was. That's right. So I got irritated. I called the clubhouse . They sent out one of their workers to us only to tell us, "we need you guys to go to the east or south course." Fine. We go to the south course. Groove was fine. Finished it. Figured hey, let's head back to the north course, maintenance should be done. Which it was. Holes 7,8,9 just take a guess what I came across? NOT A SINGLE FLAG ON THEIR 2 TIER OVERSIZED GREENS!! WOW!!!! I left. Pissed Off instead of relaxed. Where was my compensation for doing what the grounds keeper should be doing??? Broken arrow, if/When you read this; please let me know when I can pick up my check for doing the labor your grounds keepers should have done? Sidenote: I live on a prestigious golf course in lemont, and I wake up every morning at 5AM because the grounds keepers are out there HARD AT WORK, making sure they get the job done before the first person steps up to the tee box.

I love this course…read more It's not the most challenging, but it isn't intimidating at all - it's the perfect place to learn to golf. The staff is nice, the fairways and greens are always in incredible shape, and their putting area was just updated and even better than before. It might not be the hardest golf you'll ever play, but I'm so grateful it's in my backyard!
