I love this course. It's not the most challenging, but it isn't intimidating at all - it's the perfect place to learn to golf. The staff is nice, the fairways and greens are always in incredible shape, and their putting area was just updated and even better than before. This is an OK golf course, nothing spectacular. It is short and straight, no challenges to it. If I have just a little bit of time to golf or am golfing with my wife and daughter, this is an OK place to play. Other courses have better vistas and you feel like you are out in nature. Here, you do get to see what people have in their back yards in Frankfort Square. Not bad for a park district course and a good course for learning the game. read more

My cousin and I decided to try the golf course here and could not be more dissatisfied. We played 4 holes and got kicked out! I wouldn't talk to any of the employees unless you want to get told you can't finish your round. We payed for 9 holes and couldn't even play half. The customer service at this course is some of the worst I've ever seen. Don't spend your money here. read more

Have been golfing here many times prior to Covid. This past summer golfed here twice and I'm not going back. It's a real nice Par 3 course however the rangers are horrible. Today with 6 people from my family ranger Joe came charging at us on the 10th hole screaming that we were not following rules. He knew NOTHING of what was going on and just accuses us. Then continued to act ridiculously disturbed and after telling us to leave cuts one of our carts off using his cart. This guy has no business what so ever dealing with public. Won't be back and will tell anyone interested they might want to reconsider unless they like being screamed at that ends in cursing.I need to add this same ranger Joe kept mouthing to my brother-in- law calling him a young punk. (The man is retired in good shape but definitely not a young punk).When my brother-in-law spoke to him he screams " I get off at six meet me in the parking lot". This Joe has to go! Bad for public image ,bad for business, looks real bad for the Park District. read more

I played my first ever round here nearly two years ago with clubs I rented from the clubhouse. The course was so well-kept and fun that I went and bought some clubs on my way home, and I haven't been the same since. I have played this course upwards of 20 times, and I very rarely have an unenjoyable experience. Being a short par 3 course may keep some of the more serious golfers away, but this course is not one to miss. From the bonus Hole 1A all the way through the 9th green, there are enough opportunities to relax and have a fun round of golf without the price of the other courses in the area. The tees are kept in decent condition, and the greens are cut short. The park district keeps the fairways well-cut, and the rough is managable. Overall, this course is why I started golfing, and it is worth it if you want a quick round in a casual environment without the price. read more

Good place to drive a few or work on your short game. Not too pricey but the course is a little tight.

This is an excellent 9-hole course, perfect for walking with a pull cart. Not particularly challenging, but then most 9-hole courses are not. Fairways and greens are in tip top condition. It tends to be fairly busy throughout the day, so play can be a bit slow. There is a driving range as well as a pitch and putt area. read more

I've lived in the area for 12 years and get out to the place every summer. This is a very nicely maintained course-ran by the FS Park District. I usually take my family to the driving range-both of them but usually the mats (my kids are not very good). 100 balls for $ 10 is pretty decent. The course is good, nice fairways but it is short -basically a pitch and putt style. The clubhouse has a restaurant which is good just expensive, but hey, it is very well maintained too. I am really glad this place is here - it's an Everymans course. read more

I do not recommend this place. We were kicked off the course for carrying only three clubs. We paid our greens fee they let us tee off then came after us in a cart and told us to leave. Ron was the guy who rudely approached saying "what the hell do you think your doing?" I thought he was kidding...nope. Dead serious. What we thought was an innocent three club match turned into this review. Rob is his name. Know that these people are straight assholes and it's no surprise why the course was empty. I would give this course less stars if yelp allowed me. Do not bring kids to this course! My parents who are avid golfers took the boys, 8 & 10, both who take private lessons on the course today. After letting multiple couples play through they were then followed around by a man in a cart complaining they didn't have 4 sets of clubs to accommodate the 4 golfers. Just after the guys mowing the lawn started screaming obscenities in front of the children saying "F*** them, we don't wait for golfers"! Great holiday, glad my parents paid $90 for this oversized mini golf course to have their day with the grandkids ruined by the staff! I'm so happy I came out to watch my son golf, cause if I was not here to witness it I may have allowed them to bring my son back to this course, not anymore! read more

If you are a duffer or you have just started to golf, this is your course. It is a small course with water holes and tree lined fairways. A very nice course for beginners, putting available and you can get your practice swings on the driving range as well. They have a cute bar and sandwich restaurant to grab the special of the day along with a cold drink on a hot day. Just want to play a quick round? this is your place. read more

I played this course for the first time this morning, and took my grandson for his first 9 holes ever. It is in great shape, and was an entertaining layout for the price. Short, yes, but many holes had challenges in regard to water hazards and bunkers. The woman running the course, Robin, was as helpful, courteous, and friendly as you'll find.
