Had Omar install 2 toilets that are tall and great for seniors and can't say enough about the professional work and quality of the install. Bottom line Omar saved me money. As a Veteran every penny saved is a penny earned I have 4 grown children here in Rancho Cucamonga and will let them know. I would never hire these people again. I hired them to do 2 bathroom remodels. After agreeing on a price, Omar assigned 1 elderly man to do ALL the work. It took him over 6 weeks to do the work on the first bathroom. On the master bath, the same elderly man took over and took in inordinate amount of time to complete the work. We had to bring him back to finish b/c of the shoddy work he did. If we had not held back the last payment, I doubt that he would have returned. I did not notice until it was too late that the cabinets were not installed properly, but were installed over the crown molding. But what I am actually writing about is the master bathroom toilet which is on the 2nd floor. We noticed that there was a leak on the first floor. We hired somebody to look at it and thought it was coming from the roof. However, weeks later, the water poured down and we finally cut out the ceiling drywall and discovered that the water was coming from the master bath toilet where it sits on the floor. I hired my regular handyman to fix it and we discovered that toilet was never properly set on the floor and it was actually glued to the floor, so that when you tried to lift it, it broke the toilet. When I emailed Ballesteros for reimbursement of the repair costs, he told me that it was beyond the warranty time period. He said he would look into it b/c I told him that there is no statute of limitations for shoddy work and negligence. He has not returned my emails. Please, please, please DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, and hire a professional. If I could give him zero stars I would. Our nightmare began in June of 2020. Our initial meeting (even though he was late) with Omar was pleasant. Seemed like a knowledgeable, likable guy. Since Covid was still keeping a lot of contractors from doing business we decided to use Ballesteros for our Master Bathroom renovation. I should have know from the first day when the workers failed to properly & adequately tape off our master bedroom from the bathroom with plastic that it was going to be a headache. Let me just get to the point. Omar uses non-licensed workers to install the electrical and plumbing. One of Omar's workers had to actually point out and notify us that he was almost electrocuted by the exposed wires that were left in our ceiling, by a so called professional electrician. My husband decided to take pictures and when he tried, he was also almost electrocuted, and it even left a burn mark on the box (the box that wasn't even covered. We realized very quickly had this not been caught by a Omar's worker, the ceiling would have been covered up and it would only have been a matter of time before a fire was started. When we questioned a Omar about this he stated that he's been using him for years and that this "electrician" works under his (Omar's) contractor license, which is illegal. So we had to hire our own LICENSED electrician to come in a re-do ALL of the electrical work that had already been done. At one point we did fire Omar but after Omar giving us his sob story, we decided to give him another chance to finish the project since he PROMISED he would be more attentive and oversee the project since he had only been to look at the project ONCE. He never followed through. He never apologized about the electrical he just tried to make excuses. He would make appointments with us and then not show up. Toward the end of the project we ended up having to hire someone to re-do the drywall since the seam was clearly visible and also re-paint because there were many areas that needed an extra coat. They left exposed tile with the barcode of the tile showing, they left the baseboards with a seam visible and none of the nail holes covered, just painted over. I could go in and on, but basically ALL the finish work was honestly horrible. We have had to hire someone else to come in and re-do it. read more

Appointment date for free estimate on bathroom remodel 12/20/20 I'm only giving them 2 stars because I never received a quote. Omar showed up wearing a mask, very professional and friendly. He said that he would probably have my quote by the end of the day and never received it, which I didn't think nothing of it. But when a week went by and still nothing I called the following Monday to follow up and the response I got was (I'm sorry He will call you once he gets back in the office) It's been over 2 weeks and I never heard back from them. They also replaced our old bathroom countertop with a new one, hung new mirrors for us, put in a new tile floor, and retextured and repainted the entire bathroom. They did a fantastic job on all of this, and the results exceeded our expectations. Omar gave us great advice on selecting the tile to use. Ballesteros and Omar just finished our project today. We had them redo 3 bathrooms and replace our out of date kitchen counter-top. This is the 2nd time we have used them, as they remodels these same bathrooms about 13 years ago. As with the first remodel, Omar and his staff were responsive, professional and showed exceptional workmanship. His business model is not to sub out all the work, but to have a full-time crew do all of the work. His worker Alberto was at my home everyday on time and worked a full day. Ballesteros is not the cheapest or the most expensive. My wife and I feel we got a lot of value for what they charged. All the materials were high quality, and Omar was flexible enough to allow us to go to a tile store we liked when we could not find the right tile for us from his sources. Omar always returned calls and kept all of his promises and is just an awesome all-a-round professional. I highly recommend him and is crews for all of your remodeling needs. I had them totally remodel my bathroom in October and with Omar's suggestions, though I was reluctant on certain design advice, my bathroom turned out to be the most beautiful bathroom I've ever been in.
