Most importantly their trainers and staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and caring about their clients. The staff are always going out of there way to help me when I ask. They really have helped me to reach my fitness goals....THANK YOU to them for always being there for me!! I really love I am always able to get on the equipment I need quickly. Because they offer a wide selection of equipment I rarely ever have to wait for a machine or be stared at by someone else who is waiting to use the machine. Other gyms I have worked out in the past I found this was a big issue for me and it wasted valuable COSTLY time, but I guess you get what you pay for right. I also want to mention its close to lots of shops/ stores like Price chopper, GNC, CVS, Banks, restaurants, etc. so location, location, location is awesome! Its so nice I can run from the gym to the grocery store in less then a minute. Being a busy working mother of four convenience and time management is always key in choosing a gym. He had just been stationed in NY, and his work schedule did not leave him a lot of time to set up things like a gym membership. He went in during his limited time off, was just looking for a month-to-month membership, and was told about monthly rates. When he asked, the staff specifically said there was nothing else he needed to know, and did not make him aware of the contract provision stating his membership would last for a minimum of one year. They let him sign under false pretenses, and they don't have the decency to help him out. Once we raised our concerns (about being told there was nothing else important in the contract) to the staff, they initially told my husband they would cancel his membership. They ended up making us jump through hoops until I finally spoke with Al on the phone, and he was incredibly rude. (He is also only available for a limited time on Wednesdays, and specifically said that my husband's military work schedule was not his problem.) He could have just said it's against the policy to cancel a contract before one year is up. He could have said his staff was wrong to tell us they would cancel his membership. Instead, he denied any responsibility, didn't care that my husband had specifically asked about the length of the contract, and was incredibly rude in the process.
