What stood out most was how thoughtful and thorough they are. They do not just let any dog go to anyone. They ask questions, learn about your lifestyle, family, and living situation, and help make sure it is the right fit for both the dog and the adopter. They truly want every dog to find a forever home. I originally came in to meet a specific dog, but Sarah and Eliz helped me think through whether that dog was really the best fit for me, my family, and the dog. Their honesty and care meant so much. Sarah, one of the volunteers, spent over three hours helping people, answering questions, supporting the animals, and making thoughtful matches. She helped match me with the perfect dog for my family, and I am so thankful for her time and patience. Eliz, who runs the rescue, clearly pours her heart into these animals and advocates hard for every one of them. After visiting in person, I have an even deeper respect for rescue work. The volunteers give their weekends, time, and energy to help animals who need someone to fight for them. I will absolutely continue supporting Forever Home Dog Rescue and encouraging others to rescue instead of shop. Especially from this rescue.

They transport them here super humanely and are such a great organization. This is their website https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org We applied for John then had 2 different phone interviews and a reference check. They are 100% legit so I am unsure about all the negative comments, I am a real life person from Oregon who adopted a dog from them. Our coordinator who was based in Washington also connected one of our dogs siblings to use because at the time we didn't have social media and it's been so great to develop a friendship with them and for John and Elliot to be able to reconnect. The adoption prices has definitely gone up since March 2024 but not surprised as so has everything in this country. John is so well behaved and came that way and I attribute that to the amazing fosters these dogs have! Thank you TLP and if you're looking for a cat or dog, I highly recommend saving one from the overpopulation Texas area where this rescue saves dogs!

Would give zero stars if I could. First they charge three times as much as a local adoption…read more Second, my cat arrived filthy, covered in some sort of crust, so he needed a bath ASAP. Third, they claimed he was dewormed, yet we noticed little white worms coming out of his bottom immediately. After a a trip to the vet, he did indeed have a tapeworm, also Coccidia (a Giardia-like parasite that took two rounds of antibiotics and all the stomach upset that goes along with it) and he had a severe case of gingivitis that involved several more vet appointments and life-long dental care. I love my cat, but would I ever adopt through this agency again? Hell no. Thousands of dollars later and no response to my request for a refund of my fees, I say, just leave your door open for an hour and let the cat distribution system do its work. You'll save a lot of money and heartache. Oh, wait, don't get me started on the hours of interviews prior to adoption, not Giardia only for me, but my landlord and three of my references. They are overly thorough when it comes to wasting your time to make sure you're a solid candidate to own one of their rescues. Turns out that they put zero hours into making sure they ship you a healthy animal. Avoid this place at all costs!

My late has been years ago adopted kitties from perfect pals and he just kept raving about how wonderful they were. I knew we needed to surrender them so I immediately reached out to Purrfect pals to see if they could accommodate us. I received a wonderful email from Susan who is the intake manager saying that they would be happy to take the kitties, they wouldn't separate them because they were brother and sister And they would make sure that they went to a wonderful home. My fiancé brought his daughter up there and as difficult as it was, she saw how beautiful the sanctuary was and knew that they would be given to another wonderful home! We are so thankful that Purrfect pals took the kitties because the last thing we wanted to do is give them to King County or to a kill animal shelter :)

We went through all the paperwork. We paid the fee. I donated. We had the kitten in the carrier. Then we were told, no we couldn't adopt her as there was an appointment for someone to see her 2 weeks in the future. So we had to leave her. My 7 year old has cried on and off for an hour and shows no sign of stopping. Please consider adopting elsewhere. This has been a distressing experience and I don't want anyone else to go through this. I don't understand how I could fill out the entire application in the app, and pay the fee and nothing flagged until we were walking out the door. The system must be profoundly broken.

I came a few weeks ago when one of the staff members were handling the green tree python and ugg so beautiful in person (I watch a lot of snake videos on YT). I still remember the first time I came in and I asked for some mice... the sweet girl goes to the back and brings me a LIVE MOUSE! I'm like "ooooh no no no, I need frozen please!" Haha! Ever since then, I make sure to clarify I need frozen. My hognose is a great eater and never had any issues and before I found this place, I had to order in bulk like 50-100... and it was not cheap nor did I have the space. When I got my ball python, there was no way I was going to be ordering 50+ rats and you know how they can be... when I first got him he ate 2 times and decided to go on a hunger strike for 6 months... good thing I didn't have 48 more rats in my freezer lol! Both my snakes eat great which means they really take care of their rodents and I have been a happy customer for the past 1.5ish years? During the course of my 2 years of sending my Aussie for doggie daycare and the occasional longer stay (overnight vacations), I was impressed with their detailed reports of how my dog interacted/who and what she played with/ what she was learning. The pup photos were a huge comfort as well to see my Aussie in their loving care. No hoops, no delays, no nonsense -- just a professional who truly loves what she does. Her camp is clean, safe, warm, and personal. I received morning photos, evening videos, and updates that showed Tuffy comfortable, happy, and completely relaxed. The environment is exactly what you hope for when you want your dog treated with real attention and care. The highlight for me? No cages. Dogs are allowed to be dogs in a home-style setting with constant supervision and real human interaction.
