Our 1950s split-level home in Lutherville had old dingy and dirty wall-to-wall carpet since we moved in. Once the carpet was removed, the original oak floors were revealed, which had been badly stained and darkened over the years....including several large stains from the previous owners' pets. The Mr. Sandless team spent a few days prepping and refinishing the floors, and the results are 1000x better than the old carpet! The pet stains disappeared and the dull dark stained oak is now a beautiful natural honey color. Sam is excellent at communicating, his crew was always on time and respectful, and the very difficult job was finished in just a few days. Still very happy with the floors, thanks again Sam!

Tub Coaters sent out Geronimo promptly and he made some of the repairs even though it was almost 8pm. He's has been here before and I can confidently say he's just as patient as he is competent. Eric worked with me on the price and I'm happy with the repair. As for WHY Tub Coaters wasn't picking up my calls resulting in my 1 star review? Eric said they use some fancy VoIP phones and in an effort to avoid spam calls, the system blocks numbers that call repeatedly (sigh). What's the solution? They said they'd speak to their phone provider to get it fixed up. And how can we get ahold of them? I'd suggest filling out their online form. Hopefully, those messages will go directly to them! ITS NOT WORTH $4600 when it chips within weeks and painters tape takes off the finish!!!!! My professional painters were flabbergasted and can't even fix it because Tub Coaters uses some sort of spray paint that we can't buy. AND they want to charge me $45 for a touch up? Are you joking me? They got paint on our freshly done balcony roof, and my sidewalk. I have a complete shit time getting a hold of anyone there. They are not timely at all. They came to "fix" the flaking paint yesterday and then left because the office called and told the guy to go to a different job!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! This job was done only a few months ago and we haven't touched the paint with anything but painters tape by our contractor. It SHOULD NOT COME OFF LIKE THAT. Y'all don't stand by your work and it's TERRIBLE. These 5 star reviews are a joke. This company is a joke and the selling tactics and procedures are predatory. The fact that they have to defend that they've been in business 25 years and have many happy reviews does not change our terrible experience. They've been awful to work with. This paint job is not worth what they're charging and if I had known better I would have gone somewhere else who was charging less and had better customer service. When I was unsure about the stain color for my floors, she took the time to meet with me and my husband twice to mix samples. She did multiple stain patches for us to see the color, and made sure I was satisfied before they finished the work. From beginning to end of the process, she sent us updates, progress pictures, and let us know the status of our job. When we had unexpected minor issues come up along the way (issues with our floors, not problems with their work), Yazmin reached out immediately and explained everything plus showed us pictures of whatever needed to be handled. Yazmin even gave us tips on cleaning and maintaining the floor to keep it in good shape. Her experience and knowledge is obvious, and Alluring Floors did a beautiful job!!! She and the whole team were a pleasure to work with! You can tell they all enjoy what they do and want to make sure that their clients are happy with the end results. I contacted Dovetail Restoration to ask if they could restore a small Chinoiserie side table that…read morehas been in my family a long time. It had some chipping and general damage. I emailed Dovetail and included pictures of the piece. They responded that they could restore it and asked me to bring it in. I drove it over, they gave me a quote, and an expected finish date (I believe it was about a month away). I paid a deposit (half the restoration cost) when I dropped it off. When it was ready, I picked up and paid the remaining invoice amount. The restoration cost wasn't inexpensive, but the piece looks really good and their restoration may have given that piece some new life! It's ready to be used for another 50 years! Highly recommend reaching out to them if you have a piece that needs restoring: fast response, good work, on-time completion.
