We just moved in our new home and wanted our locks changed. The technician was actually early but unfortunately we couldn't accomodate the early rime. He assessed our doors and recommended rekeying the locks as opposed to changing the locks, which was what I should've requested. He started and finished in 20min no lie. They informed me that since they are a Mobile service, they were unable to help me with this but were super helpful in helping me locate another locksmith! I had bought a new house. My real estate agent recommended that I get the locks changed. Seemed like a good idea so I went ahead and looked on Yelp trying to find locksmiths in my area. I had filled out a request and it went till about 5 different locksmith companies. Only Baltimore Locksmith Company and one other actually responded to me. The others eventually responded for like a whole day later. By then I had already hired Baltimore locksmith they came out on time very friendly did a great job I'm very satisfied. Fair price. I experienced just about the worst customer service EVER from this company. A service tech arrived quickly enough yesterday and was able to get my locked back door unlocked. However, when I told him that - as before - once every three or four times, my key got stuck and would not unlock the bolt, he started arguing with me! With his strength he was able to unlock the door with the key, but I could not, though I had been able to do it for the 15 years we have lived in our house. I asked him to replace the entire lock and he refused! I paid him $200. He left. I called the office back, and the person answering said another tech would contact me soon to truly fix my lock, but no one ever called or came. \I have a different locksmith coming in a day or two, and I will be charged again. I really don't like giving bad reviews but this was just unnecessary. I spoke to Morgan on Friday to set up an appointment for 1:30pm Saturday to have my locks rekeyed. The appointment time came and went. I called twice with no answer. I got a call back around 6pm but by then I had already left the house. I'm pretty accommodating so we rescheduled for Sunday at 10am. That appointment time also came and went and still haven't heard a peep. I understand that things come up but I expect some kind of communication. A text. An email. Smoke signals. Something!! read more

This is why I value Yelp so highly. Needed the locks changed in a rental apartment that I own. However, wasn't sure which locksmith to use so I went with the recommendation of my fellow Yelpers and I am so pleased. Got a next day appointment and was greeted by Itamar Greddy. Courteous, affable and takes obvious professional pride in his work. I must disclose that he was not cheap. I had four locks changed for $483. However, he worked with such skill and precision that I came away duly impressed. One door opens out onto the roof of the brownstone and has been a problem for years. Even when my honest handyman who does commendable work replaced it, the bolt wasn't secure in the door frame. Itamar attended to it with deliberate care and even greased the squeaky hinges. Very happy to know that my new tenant is moving into a well fortified place. read more

Sent a request about getting a trunk open. Got a call promptly after the request. Locksmith called at 340 and said he would be there in 20 minutes. 450 and I still haven't heard from him. He did eventually show up. Tried the lock for about 5 minutes and said he had to break it. When I refused he tried again and got it open... Punctuality is so important and there was a lack of this today. Very disappointed in my service and quality of care. Plus my entire house smells like his collagen and now I have a massive migraine. Just very unprofessional. I do not recommend. read more

I just bought a house and wanted the locks changed to where a single key would work for all locks (including my cipher lock). Late Saturday night I reached out to different locksmiths on Yelp and Baltimore Locksmith responded quickly were able to accommodate me and come Monday. The electrician came and took a look at my locks and recommended changing the locks vs. rekeying, gave a quote, and started work. It wasn't cheap, but the fact they were able to come on my day off with a day's notice and completed the job within 20 minutes makes it worth it.
