Terrible. Called them they told me 88$ to unlock my car. The gentlemen that got there told me it was 88$ plus a 35$ service fee and the total is 180$. The math was not adding up. So in the end he said. Ok just give me 150. Called the shop again and the owner/ guy on the phone told me that was wrong and he will call me right back. Never did. DONT USE. Very happy with the end result using this locksmith company. Had to change the brass color of my deadbolt to a silver color and match the key to my regular lock on the same door. Took them minutes to install and process. Also had an issue with the the lock on the door to my balcony which they were able to solve quickly and save me a lot of money on. Home security is important to me and I wanted a professional to change out my keyless entry and garage door keypad. Udi was very knowledgeable about the best brands and recommended what I needed. He and his brother have been in this business for a long time and they have customers all over MD and the DC area. It is a tough business which requires him to work long hours and travel for transit over long distances. You might have to be patient if it just a regular vs. emergency call but I don't have any regrets and would recommend Udi highly. He even adjusted my key lock and door jamb so it would fit perfectly...something our builder wouldn't even do. As I said, he really knows what he is doing. This mobile company is very shady and I would not recommend them. I called and set up an appointment after them a picture of the lock that needed repair. I was given a quote of $130 for the job. After the tech arrived he proceeded to tell me the job was very difficult and that he would have to charge $200. Knowing that the door/lock was very old I agreed to pay. The repair was done and the lock worked initially while the tech was present. Afterwards we discovered that the lock cylinder (which was replaced) moved upon key insertion and we could not remove the key when that happened. We called and discussed with the owner of the company who said he would come by to fix it. After cancelling one appt. he arrived and said it was not fixable and that he could not refund our money due to only a 30 day warranty (which was never mentioned or written). He offered to install a deadbolt at a cost of $300. Upon further research I discovered this was a very high price. What gall. Stay away from this fly by night bunch! read more

I can't imagine these 5 star reviews are legitimate. I was quoted $15 to send a technician out and $35 to pick the lock. The lock was opened in less than 5 minutes. The technician arrived and charged me $210. He said this was a common occurrence, and that there were lots of unhappy customers who had the same experience - so who is writing these reviews? The Locksmith Squad supposedly sub-contracts out to another group - which is no problem if they charged the quoted price. Do not call this group for service under any circumstances. read more
