My surgeon is Dr. Michael Yang (Summit Pain Alliance). There are approximately 7 or 8 surgeons on staff at a time, and each doctor has his own team. This review is about the facility. I've never had an issue with scheduling an appt. Dr Yang's staff transfer my surgery consent forms over to SRSC and I always receive a call back from them to schedule within a very reasonable amount of time. Time of surgery isn't defined until a week before surgery when the Triage RN calls me, and SRSC is just as consistent with the timing of that call as scheduling is. On surgery day, each and every staff member at SRSC has been super friendly and I always have great conversation with them. Each step of the process, from check-in to pre-op, to surgery, to post-op, I've never had a negative encounter with anyone. The RN's and office staff do a great job at making me feel comfortable. The energy is always great. Dr Yang has always been on time for me, so I've never had an overly extensive wait time from pre-op to surgery. That can only be attributed to Dr Yangs team and the SRSC team working in harmony together. I highly recommend coming here. The only reason why I give 4 stars is bc I'm missing the efficiency of the Electronic Medical Records system. SRSC still uses paper charts and every time that I check in they need to rescan my ID and insurance card. With EMR, there would be no need to keep continuing to furnish my cards each time, bc they'd be stored in the system. It's a small deal but repetitive scanning does wear out your cards. I need to reorder a new insurance card and I'm pretty sure that it's from so much scanning. Anything that they can do to help make SRSC even more efficient would only benefit them. If I ever see them upgrade their technology I'd be more inclined to give them 5 stars

Their office provided me with a kit to collect specimens at home. I read all the instructions carefully and sent in my kit to the lab. Two weeks later I ask if the results have come back and they leave me a message saying there was something wrong with my specimen (see photo of voicemail transcription) I immediately call the office, asking if I did anything wrong and they tell me that the specimen is expired which didn't make sense to me, so I call the lab where I sent the specimen to find out from them what went wrong and they tell me that HILL PARK MEDICAL provided me with an expired kit!!! I call Hill Park back and say, hi it was the kit you gave me that was expired, not my specimen, and ask if they can do anything to make it right, and they just say no, you didn't pay for this so what do you want. Honestly what would have made ALL THE DIFFERENCE here would have been if they would have called and said, "Hi, we're so sorry for our mistake! We made an error that is going to be very frustrating for you because you had to collect samples for three days and now you have to go through that again and wait two now weeks for results. We want to make this right with you..." But instead they acted like it was my fault the sample was bad and I had to find out on my own what happened. We did pay for an expensive office visit (through insurance) and I'm shocked they wouldn't check expiration dates.
