Excellent!! Not to be missed! This food was SO good. We got takeout while staying in Sterling passing through and it was so fast, and so delicious. I liked that we could order Thai and Chinese dishes. I wish this place was where I live, I'd eat here all the time! I'm not often surprised by food quality in smaller towns, but this place is a exception. My Red Curry with tofu was fresh, flavorful and loaded with perfectly cooked crisp-tender veggies. My partners General Tso's chicken was spicy by request with a light and crispy batter that was obviously freshly cooked. Generous portions that made for four, rather that 2 servings. Humble and attentive service was beyond expectation. I will return, driving the 120 mile trip from home, just to eat at this restaurant again. The quality rivals regionally acclaimed restaurants in large cities. This is a gem in Sterling. read more

On the plus side, service is excellent and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. However, the food has declined significantly over the past three years. I picked up some carryout and the egg rolls are like something from the Walmart frozen food section. The egg drop soup now has pieces of tomato (what?) in it. The potstickers contained cabbage, less meat and they were over-fried. The pad thai was nothing more than a pile of overcooked flat noodles, sweet, with a few jalapeños and almost no meat. If you want more heat, they add more jalapeños. Jalapeños are in nearly every dish. Nothing spicy, attractive, or delicious about any of the food. Bamboo Garden used to be the most authentic Chinese restaurant in the area, but their quality has really slipped. Everything tastes the same, cheaply made, just like a million other Chinese buffets across the country. Very disappointing. read more

Pho is pho-nomanel! Stopped for lunch to take a break from driving. Spring rolls with peanut and fish sauce were also great. The bowl of soup was huge, I took enough home for two more meals. While the neighboring tables buffet plates looked hot and yummy I'm glad I opted to look at the menu first. I also overheard the people behind me commenting on how good their chicken was. read more

Well, since the last time I came here, they certainly have changed their interior and their food quite a bit and it's great! Food tastes so so so so much better and interior is pretty decent. The only thing holding me back from a 5 star is they need to work on SOME of their staff's attitude. Not the friendliest or does not look happy. I would like to be served by happy people and not angry looking people that look like they are in pain taking my order. read more

Very good food, and great service. On my way through Sterling on a long car trip, Bamboo Garden was a welcome place to rest and enjoy a meal. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Two of the guys I was with commented that it was the best Chinese food they had eaten in a long time. The Sesame Chicken I had was very good, and actually had some kick to it, which I had not experienced in other restaurants' chicken. Over all, well worth stopping in at this hidden gem. read more

I spent a year in London about 15 years ago, have not had this good Chinese food since then in the USA. This place rocks. The really cool thing is when you get to the building, it is an old run downs Wendy fast food joint. You say to yourself, I am not eating there, but man, take the time. this food is awesome! read more

After a long day of driving we discovered this gem in a small town in Colorado. Huge menu, Thai, Japanese, and Chinese choices, friendly and FAST service, lots of food, and very affordable. We were surprised by the choices on the menu - lots of interesting options not usually seen in restaurants like this. Definitely worth a stop! read more

While driving cross-country, I checked Yelp and found this gem of a restaurant. The servers were amazingly friendly, the buffet had a huge assortment of very good to delicious food and the price was staggeringly low. This restaurant is a winner! read more

Not going back. My son and I just ate there and had different curries. The food was tasty and the service ok but they were very thin and they gave us half a bowl of the steamed rice to share. We asked for some more and they brought us out a third of a bowl. When we got our bill they charged us $2.95 extra for the rice. When I complained that that seemed a little steep they just told me that that was what they charged. Seemed pretty chincy. On a meal that was already over $20 for 2. We used to eat there quite often but I will not support them anymore. read more

FEELING SICK! .Just returned home after walking out on the buffet. The food was terrible. It took a few bites of the fried rice before I noticed it smelled like rotting chicken. The server was polite about it, and let us leave with out paying. However I am starting to feel weak and sick, and my stomach is churning. If my symptoms get worse I may research taking legal action. I feel who ever cooked that rice knew they were using old ingredients. I have worked in a restarunt before and I feel it's pure negligence read more

The food on the buffet was great. Very clean and friendly service. Asked for egg rolls and they brought us 5 fresh ones.

Not sure that we wanted Oriental food while traveling to Denver, but OH MY I was so happy we stopped. This has to be one of the best EVER!!! The curry mango chicken was amazing. The crab rangoon and egg roll were seriously some of the best I have ever had anywhere. It was so fast too. We received our food faster then any fast food resturant. Even though we were traveling we took our leftovers. So worth the stop. read more

Got dinner here the other night. Portion size was good and there was plenty left over, but not because of lack of taste. Food was delicious and the crab rangoon was definitely better than most. Last time I went there, the chicken was super questionable. I had to spit it out it was so disgusting. Their shrimp is okay, but honestly it is so hit or miss I wouldn't even bother. read more

Food was not overly temperature hot but flavor was exactly what I was wanting. Only one curry on the buffet and it is tofu; only rice on the buffet is pork fried rice; they have to bring regular steamed rice to your table. They do ask you when you come in if you want menu or buffet. read more

Has a good variety to choose from on buffet and a very fair price. Food and service is great!
