I just came from Princess Nail Salon. I had a man. He didn't use a cuticle device instead he used his nails. I told him that it hurt. I said "WHY DON'T YOU HAVE A REGULAR CUTICLE DEVICE ? I would like a free nail manicure from the owner or someone that won't hurt my NAILS!!!!!!!!!!! Excellent customer service for both visits here with a friend! The owner and employees are conscientious. We had to wait for available technicians due to it being so busy. The staff welcomed us and gave us extra attention when it was our turn. The service choices are great. The gel pedicures last several weeks. The detailing of flowers was a wonderful addition to our services during our most recent visit. I appreciate the staff's help and honest opinion on polish color and design choices. Do not go there!! we were there for over two hours and my friend was explaining the whole time that she was not happy. The nails were crooked and filed unevenly. The girl did not understand a word but knew she was upset. She kept filing and making it worse and then charged her $55. My friend was upset and i convinced her to go back in and although they admitted that they knew she was not happy they didn't want to do anything to fix it until we got a little loud and then they offered $20 back. Place was gross. It smelled awful, usually nail salons smell like polish or remover but it smelled like neither of those things and bad. Workers were rude and not friendly. My first time there and I do not plan on returning. My pedicure looks awful. Masks were not worn properly in the middle of a pandemic. I was the only one in the salon and workers sat around me on both sides gossiping and watching tik toks really loudly on their phones. Not a pleasant experience. read more

Been coming here for over 3 years and will not go anywhere else. My usual is a gel manicure and a pedicure every few months. The gel manicures last AT LEAST 2 weeks. Can't say enough about the treatment and staff is very friendly. They are always changing up their services to stay current. This is a really busy place on nice days. I came in on a sunny day right before Easter, with the intent on getting rid of some nasty winter feet. The staff is careful about sanitizing their instruments, and their pedicure chairs are comfortable. I asked the staff to give me an "Easter like pattern" on my toes, and I ended up with an adorable light green and multicolored dots pattern. My feet were smooth, and legs were wonderfully moisturized when I left. I will most definitely be back. read more

This joint is a hot ass mess. While I usually try to give places a chance despite horrible reviews, this place in fact is horrible. After getting a fill I noticed a few nails were shorter than the others. I asked her to fix them in a kind manner. She immediately started getting upset and began to mess my nails up purposely. Not cool ! I had to ask another woman to clean them because this woman was impossible to work with. Sadly, I believe the same woman who treated me horribly might be the owner / manager of the place. Do not waste your time and money. I asked before sitting down if they could fill a powder ombré and they assured me they could. The first attempt looked like a child did my nail. They only put a much darker pink at the base of my nail and that's it. The shape was completely off. Another women tried to fix it and almost made it worse. It's not even close to what I came in with and they put polish on to try and fix it which makes no sense. I will never come back here. read more

This salon is amazing! I got a beautiful gel manicure and pedicure with amazing service. The "basic" pedicure includes massage, hot stones, a long scrub, lotion, nail shaping, cuticle care, etc! Went in today for a pedicure, fill and gel polish. There was no one else in the shop when I got there, but Sue was rushed and kept looking out the window instead of paying attention to what she was doing. My fingers were really stiff today and she was impatient and rough. Two of my cuticles were bleeding and hours later the skin around my nails is still tender. Don't go to this shop. Today 6-7-17 I made an appointment at Princess Nails to get my nail fixed and a fill. As I was walking it I was rudely told to shit down and wasn't allowed to pick out my color at the wall. Then eventually the lady had given me a basket full colors. The woman at the first chair broke my nail that wasn't even the nail that was the problem and then made the other nail that had the problem crooked . She was pulling my hand hard and burning me with the nail filler after I already explained to her I was sensitive and it hurt, but instead of respecting what I said she kept on yanking my hand & finger because she got upset that I said she was hurting me.. Then when I was asking her questions about pricing she was saying to me it was $40 to fix a nail and do a fill, when I've been there over 10 times and it has only been $25 for a fill and maybe 5 for a broken nail. When I noticed she was being unfair as well as rude and a horrible associate I got up out of her chair and was about to leave.. Before I was going to leave I asked the other woman in the chair named Cindy , when she would be done so that she could finish me up . Cindy says to me "I'm busy" Before I can get the rest of my sentence out the woman looked at me and said we are closed and you can leave, and they were open for another hour and a half. Worst nail salon in Harrisburg. Went in for a pedicure and manicure. The lady that did my manicure was beyond rude. I was deciding which color to choose and she goes on to say "I have a 6:30 appt" uhm ok? Then does a sloppy job with my acrylics and is on the phone with someone the whole time. I'm asking her if she can clean off some of the extra nail polish on my finger and she's too busy talking to incoming customers. Then she rushes me over to the drying station and my nail polish starts to bubble. She refuses to me a refund or even partial refund and didn't want to give me the managers name. Never going back. Well.... I've definitely experienced better. First of all, the manager/owner is gross! When I first got there he blew his nose and didn't wash his hands. I asked him to. Then in the middle of my acrylic set he answered his phone, put it on speaker and talked 10 minutes while burning me with the rotary file since he wasn't paying attention. When I was getting my pedicure I watched him smoosh a fly in between his two hands, again NOT WASH THEM and then start on another customer. I've been using the owner (Vicky) for about 16 years--have followed her to many salons. I went in last week to get my nails done and the SALON HAS BEEN SOLD and Vicky moved to Texas. The new owners were rude and kept trying to talk me into a pedicure, acrylics, and gel. I refused and used the 1 remaining manicurist that I recognized. If I didn't have several gift certificates to this salon I would have walked out--but I will use these GC for my summer pedicures then I'm gone--NEVER AGAIN. Cindy did a nice job on my nails but I doubt she will remain there much longer since all the other manicurists have moved on.
